Light the fire pit and dress for dinner in the vine-covered garden at a peaceful retreat with a soothing waterfall. Zen beachy decor and coastal paintings set the scene indoors, with abundant natural light enhancing easy open-plan living. Pets are welcome with a small cleaning fee of a $50 (one time fee) and additional pets $25 (one time fee). The main room is 12'x17'. Closet is 6 1/2' long. Bathroom 4'x5 1/2' + shower 3'3" x 3'3". kitchen 4 1/2' x 8". Simple breakfast served. Your own private entrance, plenty of parking on the street, nice neighborhood. We are available if you have any questions or need information on the area. 2 night minimum please. The cottage is tucked away off the street in a quiet, safe neighborhood where residents walk their dogs in pleasant weather. Nearby downtown Redwood City is home to shops and groceries and freeways and public transportation are within easy reach. There is a bus that runs at the corner of our block, it would take you to downtown Redwood City or travel down the El Camino Real. There is a train depot downtown as well. Pets - 2 small dogs in the main house, 2 outdoor cats.

We’re a 10-minute walk to the Purisima Open Space trail network. PLEASE NOTE- we live in a 3 story home and this unit is on the lower level of our home. Also available in a 2 bedroom, this suite features a spacious living room with a fire place, flatscreen TV & a kitchenette with most everything you will need to feel at home. A nice large bedroom with a quality queen bed & linens, a large bathroom with a double sink, tub and shower. The private entrance leads to a patio with stunning views and quiet space. There is a second sunning patio do dine and rest.

Coastal Cottage Guest House

Guest house is attached to our primary residence but has a separate exterior entrance. The interior is separated by double doors that lock from both sides similar to adjoining hotel rooms. The backyard is shared by us, the owners. There’s a very real chance you’ll be greeted by our friendly Australian Shepherd, Gracie, during your stay! She’s available to play upon request. You may see us in the yard during your stay. Feel free to say hi! Otherwise, we like to give our guests privacy.

You'll be just steps from Francis State Beach and the Coastal Trail and blocks from downtown Half Moon Bay. Park your car for a few days and relax in a quiet setting with views of the ocean and the sounds of the waves. The ground floor of the house will be yours with its large private bedroom suite, second bedroom, living room/bar and outdoor patio. (Please note that there is no kitchen.) We have implemented enhanced cleaning procedures. Feel free to ask for details!

This unit has its own private entrance and is closed off from the rest of the house.
