The cabin has large picture windows to enjoy the stunning views of Sardis lake and surrounding mountains. Every room in the cabin has a great view. Sitting by the fire while watching the sun set is so relaxing. There are camp grounds and a boat dock across the street providing a great place for recreation. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway! Enjoy swimming off the back deck, the ambiance of sitting on the many decks enjoying the beauty of the lake or just relaxing to watch the sunset. If the weather is cooler you may want to enjoy sitting around the gas firepit on the deck or the wood burning fireplace in the Sunroom! The one bedroom has a queen size bed and in the den a pull out sofa bed for two. Less than 10 minutes to downtown for all you shopping and great restaurants too!

Dogwood Cabin on Scenic Wooded Mossbridge Farm

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

The Casa Estiva- A Restful Getaway in the Forest

Nestled in a ravine and surrounded by towering oak trees, 30 min. fr. DFW, The Casa Estiva is truly a place of natural refuge providing a good dose of peace for the soul. Imagine awakening to song birds all around you. Then, when evening arrives, enjoy the quiet sounds of night. Built for the nature enthusiast with modern charm, The Casa Estiva is truly a magical stay . In 2025, we transitioned the hammock area into a wonderful spot to earth. A hammock is still available at the pergola.

The Treehouse is a quiet and peaceful retreat.

Tropical Treehouse set in a ten acre Jungle Garden with a canal lagoon. Private mature forest park of 250 acres and five miles of nature trails. There are four lakes and the Treehouse overlooks Lake Winnamocka. The house is 35 feet in the air accessible by stairs but with a cargo lift for luggage and groceries. The bath is tile with heated floor and tile shower. There is a bidet, washer/dryer in the full bath. The kitchen is modern. There are 3 porches. Master bed and two loft bunks.
