Depois de se chegar a Palas não apetece sair. A casa é um refúgio discreto, numa aldeia quase abandonada. Os últimos quilómetros são em estrada de terra mas acessíveis a todos os carros. Se procura resorts, não reserve. Se procura silêncio verdadeiro e natureza, este é o sítio certo. Existem trilhos excecionais para explorar, até ao rio Rabaçal ou pelas montanhas.
