Beautiful Hideaway in the hills of trás os montes

This place is our sacred go-to spot when we want to get out of the city and immerse ourselves in nature. This place has special significance for our family because it was here that as a child, we would spend whole days watching over the cows, reading and dreaming as the sun moved across the sky towards dusk. We have recently completed renovations, adding solar & central heating and we would love to share it with people who are looking for a unique experience in an unexplored region of Portugal.

Quinta das Fontainhas. DOURO VALLEY is situated in the heart of the Douro Valley. Guests can enjoy the exclusive use of the entire property and the breathtaking scenery that will make for a unique and relaxing stay. The house, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, is the result of the reconstruction of a 19th century winery and offers the essential facilities for a peaceful holiday. There are two outdoor patios, a large stone table and a barbecue. The swimming pool is set in the vineyards.

The house has several patios where you can use the barbecue, the pool, relax in the hammock or sunbathe. The photos are enlightening. THE SPACE IS SO UNIQUE THAT IT HAS THE TRANQUILITY OF A RURAL SPACE BUT IS IN THE CENTER OF THE CITY OF BRAGANÇA. The heated pool can be used until November and from February.

The Nogueirinhas house is ideal for families, couples and a group of friends who like a house totally available to them. The house features a flat-screen TV in the living room and a fully equipped kitchenette. It has two bedrooms, each with a double bed, one with a balcony overlooking the countryside and the other overlooking the village. It has two fully equipped bathrooms. The gorgeously designed house is located in a generations old family property and derives from the reconstruction of an ancient haystack made of stone where rabbits were once bred - hence its name (“Casa dos Coelhos” stands for “House of the Rabbits” in Portuguese).
