From here you can enjoy magnificent views of fantastic mountains and lakes, as well as experience the spectacular light we have in the north, all year round. Short distance to the beautiful Prestvannet light trail (hiking and toboggan run), city center and airport.

"The View" is the name of the place and it lives up to the name. The cabin is located on the farm "Sollia", which has been in the family for several generations. Here you have direct access to nature and the surroundings on foot, by bike or on skis. Little light pollution, a spacious porch and lovely garden. Here you can swim in the Skogsfjordvannet in the summer or take an ice fishing trip in the winter. Maybe you want a challenge to climb "Nondagstind"? If you want both peace and quiet and urban amenities, Tromsø city is only an hour's drive away.

Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.
