Our nice little apartment is located in a house built in the 1940s for the workers of the Fiskars ironworks. The apartment has its own lovely small sunny yard, which is fenced with a white wooden fence, over which the apple tree reaches its branches. Fiskarsin Ruukki is located 4.5 km from our apartment, which is about 5 minutes by car and about 15 minutes by bike on a beautiful bike path around the lake. The apartment has a spacious living room with beds in their own sleeping corner, a bright small kitchen with a dining table and a toilet/shower.

If you want to stay in a quiet place on the shore of a pristine wilderness lake on the edge of a nature reserve... this place is for you. A compact beach cabin with space for 1-2 people, a cooking area on the terrace with a fridge, a counter and hotplates. Running cold water. Wood-fired sauna where you can take a sauna and wash (camping shower). There is a lean-to and a campfire area on the shore. A rowboat is at your disposal. Composting dry toilet. Weather you are in the area to enjoy nature or to explore the well known towns/villages Ireneborg in Tenala is a good starting point.   The cottage has a kitchen, living room and bed room, an indoor toilet and shower. There is a garden surrounding the cottage. The front garden is open and you can see other nearby houses, the back garden is made more private with a hedge surrounding it. This is also where you will find our Sauna, the perfect, relaxing, ending to your day. Welcome to Ireneborg!

Villa Solbacka is a charming artist's home, built in 1913 and located in Billnäs, just 10 km from Fiskars village. The beautiful windows and other architectural details give the house an unique atmosphere. The house is decorated with solid old wooden furniture, many of them handmade. There are two fireplaces in the house. Outside the master bedroom there is a sunny balcony. The building is surrounded by majestetic pine-trees and maples. In the outbuiling there is a sauna and a small terrace.

In the forests surrounding the cottage, you can hike, pick mushrooms and berries, and the scenic Lake Gölen is a kilometer away. The cottage is located near Billnäs Ruukki, and Fiskars Ruukkikylä with its restaurants and boutiques is also within cycling distance. The wood-fired traditional sauna, which is freely available to tenants, offers deep and humid saunas.

A small house in the old town

You are close to everything when you stay in this centrally located little house! Biogården, or the cinema courtyard, is in the Old Town on the edge of the square. The courtyard is quiet and fenced, but nice cafes, restaurants, the beach and the pedestrian street are just around the corner. Not to mention, of course, the cinema behind the wall. There is also another AirBnb property in the same courtyard, if there are more travellers in the same group!
