Beachfront holiday rental in Rapid Bay

This was our second visit at Sally’s place. A very peaceful location with an easy walk to the beach. Bakery, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance. Instructions are clear and getting in with the key lock box is easy. Very happy with our choice and would recommend.

Only at Marianne's for 2 nights. Was perfect for what we needed. It is on the lower floor of a 2 storey home. Mariannes instructions on how to get there and what to do with lockbox, parking was spot on. Shower had great pressure, wifi easy to access. Didn't use pillows as we take our own. Easy walk to beach with stairs to go down. Close to restaurants and supermarkets. When you are there go to Pitstop Italian Truck up the road. Delicious pasta. Loved that just up the road we could drive our car onto the beach. Only issue I had, and it's my problem not Mariannes was that I unlocked the windows to open them, love fresh air, and when I went to lock them again I found it a bit tricky to do. Lucky I have a handy husband and he worked it out. Also the fridge is in the lounge, not that that's an issue but found that a strange. Overall, great experience, would stay again.

We loved our stay, the views are exceptional, just a few steps and you're on the beach. Antony & Stephs place had the creature comforts of home whilst still retaining the charm of a small town beach shack. Would highly recommend a stay.

Excellent stay - very clean and tidy, close to the beach, shops, cafes. Laura was extremely helpful and responsive with any questions asked. Would not hesitate to come back!

Es war ein sehr entspannter und schöner Aufenthalt in dem Penthouse von Kevin und Yvonne und Millie. Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl und aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr modern und liebevoll eingerichtet, absolut sauber und die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfreich mit Tipps. Would book again in a heartbeat! We had a wonderful week away with the family. Plenty of room for everyone and the kids utilised the play area downstairs. The view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful and we loved being able to pop across the road to the beach for a walk or enjoy an incredible sunset. Gretchen was always responsive to messages and lovely to deal with, thank you.

Excellent location, directly on the beach, dog friendly, well appointed furnishings, everything you might need. Clothes storage was a bit limited, okay for 1 person in a room but not enough for 2, beds were quite firm, I don’t mind but it might be a deal breaker for my wife who likes it plush. This was a guy trip and we had a ball. Would definitely come back.

We stayed at Katherine’s place over a weekend and it was just like it was described. Check in was easy and we found everything we needed all set up for us. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a beach getaway. Just be mindful that there is only 1 bathroom and 1 toilet, which was a bit tricky for us with 2 kids and 5 adults but we made it work. Overall a great place to stay and very close to the beach!

Lovely area, lots for the kids to do and safe. Close to the beach and a lovely walk along the beach to the Life Saving Club. House was nice but provisions in the kitchen very basic. We had a lovely weekend.

Amazing place, beautiful furniture and the place is so clean and tidy. Closeby to great cafes and restaurants. Definitely will be back!

We had an amazing time at Jo's house. Jo has thought of everything needed for a home away from home. House was spotless and well stocked with condiments, tea, coffee and every cooking item you'll ever need. Pool and covered outdoor area, with gas BBQ was great. Lovely position on the esplanade, coffee shops, pubs and playgrounds in walking distance. Supermarkets short drive away. Our family of 7 adults and 2 children (3 & 5) had ample space and bedrooms, with tvs and games provided. Lovely welcome pack and early and late check in were offered. I certainly recommend Jo's place and hope to return. Thanks so much Jo for helping make our family 60th birthday and 35th wedding anniversary holiday amazing.

We had the pleasure of staying in the apartment in Glenelg, and it was a fantastic experience. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and offered all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. Its location was truly unbeatable situated right on Glenelg Beach, it was the perfect spot to enjoy morning walks along the shore and refreshing swims in the ocean. It was within walking distance of amazing cafes and restaurants, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy great food and explore the vibrant local dining scene. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located getaway in Glenelg.

What an incredible getaway at Gabi and Jim’s accommodation! This place was worth every single penny and my group had the most wonderful stay. It felt luxurious from the first moment we pulled up to the property. The photos do not do this location justice. The house was spacious, it had every single possible amenity we could need, the kitchen was big, the bedrooms were comfortable, the outdoor space was fabulous to relax in. The pool was a winner though, heated, an incredible view at sunset, watching kangaroos hop by. We really couldn’t have stayed at a better place, it was such a lovely treat. Thank you for such a relaxing weekend, it won’t be forgotten and I would absolutely stay again.

Myself and 3 friends had a wonderful stay in this cute and cozy Airbnb! Had everything you needed, was well thought out, lovely linen, towels and styling throughout made our stay feel very homey and luxurious! It’s walking distance to the amazing white sand crystal clear beach and Pearl the amazing beachside restaurant. Was so peaceful and relaxing sitting on the balcony watching the sunsets! Will 100% stay again! 5 Stars!

Perfect location… well maintained.. worth every cent

We had a great stay. The location is excellent and the property very comfortable. The outdoor barbecue area is a particularly nice feature and the BBQ is great. Charlton was very responsive and and is an excellent manager, very easy to deal with. We highly recommend the property.

Marine Cottage was perfect. The view was spectacular with the beach directly in front. The house had everything we needed, was extremely clean and had personal touches like fresh eggs and water. The location is excellent for exploring the island. We walked and swam at the beach everyday. We will be back next year. Thanks Peter and Jo.

Fantastic Airbnb with great hosts. Very responsive and thoughtful, the unit is self contained and has absolutely everything needed for your trip. Beautifully presented, clean and tidy. Great location overlooking the ocean. Home is well designed with windows taking advantage of light and views. Kitchen well stocked with everything one could need. Two bathrooms and two lounge areas made it a very enjoyable stay. Would love to stay again sometime. Thank you Christine.

Incredible spot right above the ocean. Very peaceful and the house has great views and is very spacious. Thoroughly recommend for couples/friends looking for a long weekend getaway.

Fantastic location, easily accessible to public transport and amenities

My husband and I stayed for his birthday on Feb and loved it so much we bought the kids back 3 weeks later. The kids are already working on us to stay there again. We will definitely be back- perfect little holiday getaway with everything you need.
