Reservation, checkin and checkout were smooth. The unit is bigger than it appears in the pictures with a good sized living/dining/kitchen that is open plan and nice sized bedrooms upstairs. The WiFi worked well and there is a TV in the living room and every bedroom. If you want a more analog experience, a few TVs have VCRs and there is a wide selection of family friendly VHS tapes.

Nice house in a great location. Close to downtown Davis and activities at Canaan resort. Kid friendly space upstairs. The kitchen has the necessities for cooking and is open to the living room. The host is responsive and was easy to communicate with.

David was a wonderful host with a cozy cabin. David was not only responsive, but he was also prophylactic in the way of having a few lists at the cabin with various easy to understand instructions, local eateries, and activities. The cabin itself had nearly anything you could think of and more in terms of amenities. We would definitely have David host us again in the future.

I would like to share my recent experience during a visit to Buckingham, West Virginia. My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home while attending my son's college graduation from Wesleyan College. The accommodation provided was nothing short of exceptional. The house was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with all the essentials one would need for a comfortable stay. The house was just as described. It was perfect for our little family getaway! Tons of space to spread out. Loads of fun extras. The view is amazing! We had a great time!

This home was perfect for our stay for a family of 5 in the area for a wedding. The kitchen had everything we could have ever wanted, even gourmet coffee instructions. There was a full length mirror, iron, and ironing board. Johnny left detailed instructions for just about everything that were super helpful. The bedrooms were more spacious than expected and it was amazing to have 2 bathrooms in order to get ready on time for a family of 5. We enjoyed the bookcase of games! I hope we have reason to return to the area for another season! I'd love to see that hillside in fall, it's so very peaceful. Managed to have 2 meals at the Curly Maple. Highly recommend! From the moment we walked into the house, we were in love. The house is set in a private, wooded cul-de-sac and easy to find with the directions provided. The inside is open and spacious but still somehow cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed and all of the best quality. The town of Davis is a short drive away with some delicious little places to check out for meals. We also stopped by Blackwater Falls State Park, just a few minutes past the downtown area. Would definitely recommend this gem if you are planning a stay in the area!

Wonderful home for our large group and kids had own area downstairs. Hot tub was perfect way to end day after skiing. Snow Shoe Resort short drive away. Would rent again if we can back to Snow Shoe.

This was the best, most comfortable and cleanest rental we have ever been in, the most at home feeling. Even the pictures on the walls were well thought out and chosen. The beds were most comfortable and warm. I can go on and on but the bottom line is that we confidently want to go back and enjoy a wee bit more time.

The location and comfort of this Airbnb are the key highlights! A great balance of seclusion and convenience, it is a less than 15-min drive to the main streets of Davis, with access to breweries and restaurants. Parking areas of several popular hikes in Dolly Sods are also a 15-20-min dive away. The hosts are great - they were friendly, responsive, respectful, flexible, and super proactive! They communicated all instructions really well, including the most helpful guidebook of an Airbnb I have ever come across. The house is well-equipped, especially the kitchen, with all necessities plus extra supplies in stock. It is thoughtfully decorated, clean, and affords great views. Overall, a wonderful place and wonderful hosts!

If you’re looking for a place that has easy access to Canaan Valley, Elkins, Davis and all the outdoor activities that those places and the surrounding area has to offer the. this is a great place. An older house that has been renovated well for its intended purpose. Extremely peaceful setting with the mountains in the background. This is a secluded setting compared to being in one of the towns. So keep that in mind. This place has a cozy feel, very enjoyable. Host is very responsive, kind and helpful. I highly recommend.

This was my second stay at Mike's place and everything was just as good as my first stay. The location is great and close to many local sites and activities. The view of the mountain is gorgeous and so peaceful and relaxing. The house is very comfortable and nice inside with many thoughtful touches throughout. You won't be disappointed if you stay here!

We really loved our stay in this beautiful house with the natural surroundings. It was really nice to have lots of windows and doors to enjoy the natural lighting and the breeze through the trees. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms were nicely done and had good counter space and storage for our stay. I loved having the closet and dresser in the primary bedroom, which allowed me to put away my clothes. The furniture and lighting was tasteful and added to our stay. The fireplace and sauna were nice accessories. The EV charger was wonderful for us to have and really made our stay much more convenient. We would 1000% stay here again!

Our stay at Country Roads Cabin exceeded our expectations. From the moment that we walked in, it was clear that the hosts, Kris and Bert had gone above and beyond to ensure a warm, comfortable, and thoughtful experience. Every detail from the fully stocked coffee bar to the extra blankets and towels made us feel immediately at home. The space was spotless and beautifully decorated, striking the perfect balance between modern comfort and mountain charm. Little touches like labeled light switches and a fully stocked kitchen (included everything that you could possibly need and more) showed how much care and consideration went into preparing the home for guests. We especially appreciated the detailed APP that covered just about everything about the accommodation and local area. It was clear the hosts genuinely wanted us to have the best time possible at Snowshoe, and we absolutely did. We highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a seamless, thoughtful mountain getaway.

This is a real gem. What a wonderful trip for us with Black Diamond house. Brian and co hosts were very responsible and thoughtful fantastic hosts. House is super clean, modern, newly renovated, great view and beautiful surroundings, quiet peaceful safe full of decorations and amenities including warm jacuzzi with peaceful heavenly neighbors. Dream came true in New Virginia. Lots of things to do in the nature also. I would definitely come back to Brian’s place.

We absolutely loved the cabin in the woods. We had 5 people and we all fit comfortably. You do need to be able to navigate the basement stairs to access the 2nd bathroom but it was very clean and inviting. They gave us great local recommendations for dinner and loved the local trout fly fishing experience. We would definitely stay there again.

my family and I stayed at Gina's for the weekend skiing at Snowshoe Mountain. Gina's place is absolutely beautiful. It was beautifully decorated and very accommodating to our needs. It was also only 30 mins away from Snowshoe. I definitely recommend this home for skiing at Snowshoe or just a relaxing weekend get away.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful mountain-top house! The breathtaking views of the lush green valley and serene lake create a perfect nature retreat. The house is well-maintained, fully furnished, and equipped with all essentials, offering a very comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the close interaction with wildlife — we spotted deer, wild turkeys, and a variety of beautiful bird species right from the property, which made the experience even more special. The hot tub and outdoor fire pit were fantastic for relaxing evenings. The host (Grace) was super nice and very responsive to all our queries. Highly recommended, especially before the peak summer heat, as the house currently doesn't have air-conditioning. Adding AC would make this place absolutely perfect, but even without it, it’s a gem. We’d love to visit again!
