House holiday rentals in Rancho San Diego

I am a San Diego local, but my family was coming to town and we needed more space. I picked this place because I knew my sister and brother-in-law would love being able to walk to all the restaurants and brewery nearby and my 6 year old nephew would get a lot of use out of the pool. The place exceeded my expectations, it was perfect for everyone. We spent a lot of time in the backyard swimming or playing board games, and my Mom got a lot of use out of the hot tub. Communication with the host was excellent and the place was comfortable and clean. The only downside is my family might visit too often now!

Our home away from home. The property was conveniently located to major stores. It is 30 minutes to the San Diego Zoo, Birch Aquarium, and Sesame Street. The house is very spacious and brings in light energy. Our family loved the beds and comfy pillows which can make or break a vacation. The bathrooms were spacious and worked conveniently with the needs of our family, especially the Bluetooth speaker😁. The backyard was our favorite! Beautiful space during the day with plenty of space for our 3 year old to run. Serene and chill views in the evening. We 100% recommend this property for your family. And would definitely stay again.

Nice place to stay in the San Diego area. Conveniently located within reasonable driving distance to popular attractions and nestled in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The backyard and pool are beautiful. The pool was by far the highlight of our stay. Miguel is an exceptional host: responsive, accommodating, and a pleasure to communicate with.

We had such a lovely stay. My daughter in law especially liked the little hut to meditate in. The pool was wonderful, plenty of seats outside and the lounge chairs were very comfortable. Plenty of towels. The grill worked great. The beds were also comfortable as well as the couch. You felt so far away from everything in your mountain hideaway but you are so close to town and all that San Diego has to offer. Michael & Haley checked in frequently just to make sure we were all set too, which was especially nice, since I often feel funny about bothering my hosts. We would definitely stay there again. This place was such an amazing experience for us. It was just the tranquil, spacious and comfortable stay that our big family needed. Everyone had a blast. We appreciated all the amenities and the area. It was the most well stocked place I’ve ever stayed. They had everything needed to cook every meal and I couldn’t recommend more. Everything was so well thought out and beautiful.

Van was very friendly, even had great food recommendations for my family and I. The home was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. My children thought we were in a place of royalty with how well put together the house was. Loved our stay and will definitely be back

We were looking for the perfect mix of relaxation, luxury, and privacy — and this home delivered on all fronts. From the spacious, modern design to the impeccable amenities, everything was top-notch. The heated pool and water slide were a huge hit, and we spent hours enjoying the water each day. The private, well-maintained outdoor space with the hot tub and fireplace provided the perfect spot to relax in the evenings, making it easy to unwind after a day of fun around San Diego. The kitchen was fully equipped, m The house is situated near all of the places we wanted to visit. It is a private location, giving us a true sense of peace and relaxation throughout our stay. Our host was amazing! Myrna was incredibly responsive, providing clear instructions and being available for anything we needed. The attention to detail and care truly made our experience special. It was perfect for our family!

I've made three trips to San Diego in the past year. I stayed in two different airbns; one being this one, one downtown, and one upscale hotel, 7th floor bayside downtown. This was my favorite spot by far. Even if your business or pleasure is downtown (we do Padres), the uber fares or car rental is worth it to stay out in El Cajon at this spot. It is immaculate, beautifully decorated, and so peaceful. The hill view, quiet, and night and morning sounds are great. Nice view of the city lights. Almost too many areas/seating spots in the house to decide where to have your coffee or your drink. Neighbors waved, hot tub maintenance knocked on the door to check in, etc. The only issue was uber/delivery having trouble finding the house because there is a road that was likely once open but is now private, so they go to the wrong spot. I loved it here.

This place is amazing , the location is peaceful and quiet. There is even a hiking trail down the street that is fairly cool ! Thanh was communicative and gave clear instructions which made our check in smooth . The place was spacious and made us feel comfortable for the night ! I would 100 % recommend to book here if you are thinking of doing a weekend trip or for any occasion !

Wow this place is amazing! As soon was we walked in, from the decor to the ambiance. You go from Spring Valley to being transported to a place of paradise. There is no place like this, I’m telling you guys. If you think the front yard is beautiful, wait till you go to the backyard. We felt so at home and the vibes are just incredible. Did I mention it was dog friendly?! We bring our dog everywhere and this was perfect. Salvacion is a super host for a reason. She’s responsive, very easy to communicate with, and her home is beautiful. I have family in the area, we’ll definitely be coming back and staying here. So glad we found this place!

This place literally felt like paradise. If you didn’t know you were in San Diego, you would feel like you’re in Hawaii! The backyard was so beautiful that we spent the majority of our time out there in the pool, hot tub, and tiki bar! The upstairs patio was fantastic for outdoor eating. The hosts were super communicative with any questions we had prior to and during our visit! We definitely can’t wait to stay again in the future!

This was my first experience in an Airbnb and I could not have been more pleased. This home is clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a week-long stay! Some of the many highlights: Parking is dedicated and convenient. Kitchen well stocked with a full-sized fridge. There is so much room between the kitchen, living/bedroom and the bathroom/bathroom area! Recliners and bed were super comfortable. TV was easy to use and seemed to have a ton of channels, plus apps like YouTube. Water pressure in the shower was *fantastic* (also the shower head situated high on the wall, great for tall guests). Fast internet connection. Quiet neighborhood. I kept the windows and door open all day while I was there. Lovely patio with a table and large umbrella. Very nice and communicative owners! Most importantly, I felt very safe as a solo traveler. I feel lucky I had the opportunity to stay here and would 100% do so again!

Baker's place was very clean. The house felt cozy, and inviting. Everyone in our family enjoyed the house and the views. Baker, eventhough traveling internationally, still responded to my messages as if he were right next door. Baker and the hosts are extremely polite and answered all of our questions. We felt as if we had lived there for years. One can tell that they have placed enormous amount of time and energy in their project. I can truly appreciate their effort! Thank you again for making our family experience memorable!!

Once again, we had a truly terrific time staying at Shannon & Gabe's place. Cannot recommend this place enough. The house is absolutely spotless. The beds are SO comfortable. The amenities are top notch. Easy communication with hosts and quick response time. I'm already looking forward to the next time my family gets to stay here. The sunflowers in bloom outside the kitchen window were the cherry on top. This place is not-to-be-missed!

We loved this house, everything was perfect, no issues and the kids refused to leave! They still want to go back and live at the “house with the blue door”! Clean, tidy, comfortable pillows…definitely recommend booking this place!

Very clean. Beds were comfortable. Nice to have air conditioners in each room so we can set the temperature we each liked. Pots and pans were in great shape. Appliances were new. Location was easy to get around. The fruit trees were a fun bonus.

We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely book this place again in the future!
