Farmstay holiday rentals in Quito

I went to this place as a transfer - it is a bit far from actual Quito city. I think it was perfect for my transfer. The Tumbaco bus station is very close. Jairo was very kind, picked me up from the airport and drove me to nearby bus station / shops. As a woman traveling alone, it made me feel safe. He also gave me lots of ideas of things to do in the area. The house itself is beautiful with a gorgeous coffee plantation and kind staff. My room was clean, and the facilities (bathroom and dining room) were excellent. There is a shopping mall 10-15min walk. The neighborhood is quiet at night.

I stayed at this peaceful farm with my family and two young children, and it was everything we could've wished for. It's beautiful setting made you want to never leave the place due to the cozy comfortable inside and scenery outside. Carmen and Rosa Linda were very attentive to our needs, and were fast to respond to all requests from starting the fire to arranging for my daughters to milk the cows and feed the horses. The whole staff on the farm is very friendly and there to help. It was a truly a unique experience. There's plenty of hiking in the area and it's close to all the sights of Cotopaxi park. The incredible hosts arranged for our transportation, itinerary, and cooked us some of the most delicious food I had during my trip. I can't wait to go back!

Absolutely recommended . The house is very unique and the location is superb. The design is right out of an architectural magazine and the decor is very tasteful . The rooms are large and very comfortable . Some have amazing views of the volcanos . The common areas are very cozy and inviting . Wifi worked well and the showers were fantastic . The caretaker/cool are very helpful and friendly and made our stay special . I would definitely come back !

I cannot say enough good things about the hacienda. It was exactly what we needed, a private, safe, peaceful place outside the city. Manuel, the caretaker of the farm, was amazing and always available for whatever we needed. Though the place is in nature, it was still only a 5 minute drive to town and groceries, plus a perfect launching point for all the different things to do and see in the area. Our kids played all over the 12 hectare property, climbing trees, running through fields, jumping on the trampoline, and enjoying the animals. The views of the mountains were incredible!! We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend, I hope we get to return in the future.

It is a warm and cozy accommodation, Mónika and her husband are very friendly and make you feel at home. I can only say that everything was great.

The Hacienda is beautiful, very welcoming and has all amenities. In addition, it has a beautiful visit to the valley and the garden is very well maintained. Francisco is very friendly and attentive to everything. It really is a beautiful place to breathe fresh air, disconnect, and at the same time enjoy a very nice house.

Definitely a very pleasant experience, the house is beautiful, huge, with all the comforts, comfortable rooms, very quiet environment. The attention of Ivan, the housekeeper, was excellent, always attentive to what we needed, helpful and very kind. Thank you so much for everything 🙏🏼 I hope to come back again.

Cute cabin with privacy, great for unwinding and enjoying nature. There are many birds singing all day long.

This was our first place in Ecuador, and we LOVED it. Rodrigo was a fabulous, interesting and helpful host, huge thank you for sharing all the info you did. He used to be a guide, and has traveled all over the world. The cottage was so comfortable, and cozy and peaceful at night. With hot water and all you need in the kitchen. We loved the 3km walk into the town, seeing all the murals and enjoying the local vibe. It's also very easy to catch a taxi, they are all over. We found delicious street food near the bus station, and fab lunch at the local owned hideaway A day visit up to Laguna cuicocha is so worthwhile, stunning Thank you Rodrigo

we absolutely loved our stay here. it was quiet and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the city-- but close enough. I also fell in love with the chickens. Mabe was as sweet as she could be and even helped us get into our car that we locked ourselves out of late at night!

A wonderful place where we were able to rest and enjoy nature. The cabin looks even better in person and David is such a friendly person that he went far and beyond to make sure our stay was the best.

Lugar lindo para estar tranquilo.

The place is simply amazing for a rural getaway near Quito. It is fully equipped, staff is helpful when needed, otherwise you are left alone. The house is super cozy, with everything you need to set a fireplace, a grill or even pizza una the wood oven. The hot tub is always warm in a beautiful greenhouse kinda place.

We spent 2 nights in the cabin with my parents and baby. The place is beautiful, the estate full of trees, vegetation, plenty of space to walk, all quiet with a lot of peace, which we are looking for for a weekend break. The place is very close to a magical Cotacachi village and thanks to recommendations to Randy we discovered very good places to eat. Randy, Silvia and her whole family were very attentive to any need, they helped us with the crib for baby, they gave us fruit and avocados from their estate and Silvia was very attentive to feeding my baby, giving her chopped fruit. We felt very comfortable and were so fond of Randy's family. The place is perfect to spend some time with the couple or family with children, who really enjoy the animals of the Hacienda. Highly recommended ! Thank you

We had a great stay at the hacienda el Rejo! The house is huge with beautiful vistas and surroundings. We all enjoyed interacting with the animals on the farm. Bedrooms were well-appointed, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was missing a few things we would’ve expected (ie: a coffee press or coffee maker; drinking water was only available at the restaurant so we filled pitchers/water bottles each day), but otherwise we were able to cook a few meals at the house. The restaurant on site is great and we enjoyed a dinner and breakfast there. Don’t miss the house-made cheese! Staff provided great advice and arranged a horseback ride for our group. It’s about a 45 minute drive to the entrance to Cotopaxi National park, very convenient. All in all I’d highly recommend a stay at this beautiful property with warm, welcoming staff. Sincerely hope to return!

Miryam is such a sweet host, we felt like home! So kind and helpful she even baked bread and made us jam! Her dogs are the cutest and share so much love and kindness! The house cute and the garden Is amazing! So grateful for this experience and can’t wait to come back!!

I highly recommend staying at the Hacienda. Everything about the place was fantastic. The amenities, the food, the surrounding area, the staff and the activities were are superb! You will not be disappointed!

The site is perfect for a getaway from the city. The proximity to the Imbabura and nature around you let you relax in this quiet and cozy cabin. Highly recommended! Katty and Lionel are great hosts! Generous and attentive people (without being intrusive). They left several things for breakfast and shared vegetables from the orchard, which looked like a detail. On the list for places to come back :)

We had a great stay and experience, from check in to check out. Isabel was very responsive to our questions and concerns (power outages in Ecuador), and made us feel comfortable that everything was going to be ok.the place is beautiful, cozy, and the views were incredible (we woke up with a beautiful view of Cayambe volcano). Cristina and Carmen helped us and made our lives so much easier. The whole family loved the experience. Highly recommended!
