Enjoy a stay in this 1930's Workers Cottage in the heart of Quirindi. Easy walking distance to the railway station, shops, pubs and the RSL club. 40 minutes drive to Tamworth or Gunnedah. The front verandah and bedrooms have a view over the town to the surrounding hills.
“Qurindi is a lovely quiet little town, perfect for getting away from it all. With plenty of activities close by it's also a good base to launch a relaxed family holiday. Jen's place is just lovely, clean, simple but attractive, great aircon in the living areas and a well appointed kitchen with everything you need. We've stayed here last year as an overnight in our travels and loved it so much, that this year we extended our stay just to enjoy the house and area. Highly recommended.”
We are ideally situated for those who need to break their journey. We are approximately an 7 1/2 hour drive from Brisbane and 4 1/2 hours from Sydney and we are located 2 minutes off the New England Highway. It is a quiet, fully self contained, air conditioned cottage with a large bedroom, separate bathroom, lounge and fully equipped kitchen, situated in a quiet rural environment. There is a local pub which serves evening meals 7 days a week, plus a local café, both within walking distance.
“Arrived much later than expected on our motorbike ride. Jill was very accommodating with the place heated for us. The decor was beautifully done to every detail and had everything we needed. There was even some soup in the fridge which we appreciated as arrived so late. Fascinating to enjoy the All Black memorabilia from Grants days playing for the All Blacks. Beautiful garden and outlook. We loved the experience 🙏”
My home is very comfortable with reverse cycle air conditioning. I am within walking distance of the town centre. Close to RSL, gym, I have a small friendly dog.
“My room was very clean and comfortable, and Carol welcomed me into her home. I was able to help myself to tea and coffee, and breakfast in the morning. It was a wonderful stay, better than sitting alone in a motel room at night on my own!”
