1000 characters won't be enough to describe how much we loved this house!! The project of the Earthship is fascinating, and the result is just beautiful. The conservatory/corridor feels like a mini jungle (expect a few insects to share your living space). It's brilliant for a family with ample space and five beds. We played a lot of hide and seek! The garden outside really feels peaceful; In April the flowers are in full bloom. You do have to adhere to the ecological project and there are a lot of rules around water use, waste, etc. but they all make a lot of sense. The surroundings are stunning with the view on the Sacred Glaciers, and there are lots to do around (Salineras de Maras, Moray terraces). People in the village of Maras were very friendly despite our limited Spanish. Be careful, the last few km of road are not easy to drive with a city car (bumpy dirt track). Also, follow the instructions very carefully to find the house or you may get lost in roads difficult to navigate.

It was a beautiful place with a great balcony. They treat you like family!

We felt welcomed even though we only stayed one night, we would come back anytime, nice yard, big table and location. We wish we would have booked for longer, definately book more than one night if possible

This is a gem of a place if you want to escape a little the bus of town. Beautiful house, with everything you need, cosy with Fire place and beautiful view. The rooms are beautifully decorared and i appreciate all the beauriful flowers in the rooms and the house! Carla and david who take care of the house are the most helpful and friendly people. They took care of us as if we were family. She organized a cake for the birthday of our boy and took care of my father who had an accident and was not mobile. Also big thanks to the host for being flexible in the dates of booking. Dus to the accident of my dad, we couldn’t arrive in time in the house and we were able to move the date wirh 1 day so we could enjoy the house as planned! Keep in mind this is a location not in town, and you need to count with 15min to get there.

Nice and quiet place on the mountain in the middle of the greenery. The place is small but meets all expectations considering it's in the middle of the forest. It is a few meters from the main road and the road is trocha so you have to take the considerations if you go by car and it has rained. It's just going slow and be careful with stones. The super attentive hosts as they fixed the road for us one night that rained a lot so there was no problem. Highly recommended to spend a few days resting and get to know the waterfalls that are in the area.

Joel is very kind ,I was attentive upon our arrival , the place is very close to everything is quiet , the house is very comfortable as it is in the photos we felt at home . I recommend staying at Joel's apartment:)

Very comfortable apartment in downtown Quillabamba, very well equipped. Everything was very clean and tidy, it also includes a cleaning service. I recommend it!

We have a lot of our stay. We were like family with small children and the well cut grass garden and the pool with no deep water was perfect for them. There was also a mesh around the entire garden that gave us more peace of mind regarding the kids. That way the turkeys didn't come in either. It's quite hot in the upstairs room, but can be ventilated. We were very happy!

the stay was perfect, the check-in and check-out times are a little flexible within the proper canons. the place complies with the photos, and it's a great place to stay more than one night.

great experience spending the night in Mrs. Braulia's chakra. They showed me everything they planted and cooked a traditional dish for lunch. If you are looking for an authentic experience of how people live in the country, this is the place for you.
