Gatehouse By The Gardens

Gatehouse offers everything you need for your short term stay. Refresh in a wet room-style bathroom, complete with oversized bath and dual-head shower. Then tuck in to the complimentary breakfast in the cozy but well appointed air-conditioned interior. Have dinner in the beautiful tropical courtyard, which offers a large gas BBQ and loads of extra space to relax. Families are looked after with two portacot's, child friendly tableware, games, children's books and a park just next door. A generous 2 bedroom apartment, with a relaxed modern feel and plenty of space to relax on the huge shaded deck or chill in the ducted air-conditioning. Backing onto the the beautiful Botanical Anderson Gardens, which is great for strolling through and getting little ones to spend up some energy with lots of shady paths and ducks to feed by the pond. The Apartment and surrounding property are all on one level with a single 9cm step into the living area from the garage. There are no level changes out onto the deck or into the bathroom or shower area. The bathroom is a wet room style with an oversized bath for extreme relaxation. The shower area has a hand held shower head and a large luxurious rain shower head with a selector valve to choose between the two. A chair for showering can be provided by request. We have an absolute no smoking policy. There are no designated smoking areas anywhere on the property. A breakfast of bacon, eggs, bread, butter, and porridge plus all the Teas, coffee, hot chocolate, chilled water, and any pantry items are all provided for you in the kitchen. Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, Hand Soap, Toilet Paper, Toothbushes and Toothpaste, Razors and Candles are provided for your convenience. The TV in the loungeroom is connected to an android TV box with access to the Internet and a DVD Movie library. The large Deck is a fabulous place to dine or just chill out listening to the birds while looking out to the park. The small Garage (3m x 5m) is suitable for small cars only but there is plenty of parking on the front lawn with 4 available spots. The City centre is a 10 min drive away with the Strand (well worth visiting) a 15 min drive from Gatehouse. By car to the Airport is 10 mins and the Train Station is 6 min. I will greet you to show you around. Beyond that, you will have your privacy. We are passionate about Hosting and are flexible with check in times and offer early luggage drop off if needed. We can also arrange pickups from the Airport, Train Station or Buses work permitting for a small fee. Stroll in the botanical gardens, enjoy easy access to the Mater Hospital which is only 300 Meters away, plus cafes and supermarkets. Townsville Stadium is only 4-minute drive away. Browse the boutiques at Castletown Shopping Centre, which is a similar distance. Multiple Bus stops are located within 500m of apartment. There is a $150.00 penalty for smoking on or in the premises. Guests who stay longer than a week will be serviced with a changover of all linens and towels.

Escape, Discover, Indulge and wake to the serene sound of rainforest birds in the Noosa Hinterland have a relaxing stroll down to the horse paddocks before a leisurely brunch on your apartment terrace or head into one of Noosa's Beachside Restaurants and then take a dip in Laguna Bay off main beach Noosa Heads. When you arrive home in the afternoon take a cooling dip in our large private pool, then fire up the barbecue for a relaxed meal under the palm trees. Our property hosts Australian marsupial’s including a mob of black tailed rock wallaby’s and kookaburra’s and our resident peacock. Traditionally booked by couples for weekend or mid week getaways our apartment is private and luxurious. Our guests love the tranquility of our property and especially the sounds of the rain-forest birds. Your space is completely private with its own entrance and 5 star fit out. Absolute privacy is guaranteed with your own private access and parking. The pool and access to the horse paddocks are shared with our family. The pool area has a large bbq which is for guest use only. We are accessible for anything you may need, or you won’t see us at all should you want complete privacy. Our house is three stories and the Suite is on the bottom level with direct poolside access. Close to the pristine beaches of Noosa, the Hinterland is a patchwork of tranquil lakes, forests, and volcanic formations. Visit friendly country towns with excellent cafes and boutique restaurants, or walk to spectacular National Park Rainforests. Or just sit on your back deck with a glass of bubbles. The hinterland is a romantic getaway spot close to the Eumundi Markets but only a short 15 minute drive to the worlds best beaches. Being in the Hinterland you will most likely have a car, but Uber is readily available. Our property abuts the National forest and you can walk, bike ride or horse ride all the way to the Noosa North Shore if you wished. We can provide bikes and advice on tracks to use. Or just walk to some of the most spectacular National Park rainforests in southeast Qld. Access to Noosa, Eumundi and Tewantin is very close, Uber is just a $15-25 trip from Hastings St should you wish to have a long lunch or romantic evening and leave your car behind.

Theme parks and the hub of the Gold Coast are only half an hour by car. There is limited public transport on Tamborine Mountain so you will require a vehicle to travel to different locations around the mountain but the chalet is located right in the Hub of shops/cafes/restaurants so there is plenty to see and do all within a very short walking distance If you require a taxi at anytime is is best to pre-book as there is only 1 taxi on the mountain Please note that cereals,a range of bread, bottled water, tea/coffee and milk will be provided for your stay
