Dana's place is outstanding. It is so beautiful and surrounded by nature. Her home was nothing short of immaculate - everything was so spotless and new. The beds were comfy, instructions clear, location amazing - would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Dana was also very quick to respond to questions and was always available. 10000/10!!

A lovely place to spend time with friends, for us. It’s so generous of the host to provide us the firewood for a bonfire. The place is definitely to stay for a getaway. Highly recommended !!

Katy and Dave were incredible hosts - they made sure the hot tub was warm for us each day and were responsive to whatever we needed. The place itself is GORGEOUS - we didn’t leave once and were entertained the entire time, even in the rain. It was the perfect spot for a girls weekend. I would absolutely stay here again and hope to be back at some point! Can’t recommend enough.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful waterfront property. The setting is absolutely stunning—overlooking the water, with breathtaking views, water access and a peaceful, natural vibe that instantly made us feel relaxed. The place itself is very unique, full of charm and character, and clearly loved and well-taken care of. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and their warmth really added to the experience. Our kids had an amazing time playing in the yard—lots of room to play and explore. The location was perfect for exploring the Powell River and Lund area, with plenty of nearby trails, beaches, and local attractions to enjoy. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend this special spot to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

We loved Arbutus Cove Retreat so much, we stayed twice in one week! The perfect place to relax between Powell River and Desolation Sound adventures. Will definitely be back!

This is an amazing place! If you are visiting the valley for any reason at all, this should be your first and only spot! You walk out the door to the most amazing view of mountains and ocean and it’s such a convenient location to everything in the area. The front yard and front steps are amazing to just sit on and enjoy the scenery. The house is also amazing as far as being fully stocked in everything, including having the necessities for cooking such as olive oil, salt, pepper etc! There’s even toys for the kids! This host really has thought of everything when it comes to making you feel at home. I cannot say enough good things about this place and I wish this was where I lived! I can’t wait to book again for our next trip to British Columbia.

Sandie was a lovely host, and the place was perfect for my stay! The unit was perfectly sized and the kitchenette had everything I needed to put together my meals. This spot is wonderful, right on the water, with easy access to the beach. This is a rocky beach but an old pair of sneakers or water shoes will ensure you can get right into the water. The sound of ocean at night is a wonderful way to relax and fall asleep. This is a small space but everything you need is here, great for 1 person or a couple. For nature lovers, Seal Bay Park is just right up the street. This location is a nice central spot with easy access to Comox, Courtney, Campbell River and Cumberland. I would definitely return to this spot :)

Very intimate and personal retreat like setting for alone time or couple time. Very much a time away from home to a place dating back in time to humble beginnings. What an absolute gem of an airbnb. We had our privacy the entire stay. Cabin was spacious and was spotlessly clean upon arrival. Well stocked kitchen with a comfortable living space. The backyard was spacious enough for our big dog and there are many trails close by. The fire pit with the lawn chairs allowed us to sit back and relax with a nice fire. This was a great getaway. I highly recommend Keitha’s Airbnb!

Great value for the price! Very cozy, quiet, peaceful place to rejuvenate in nature. Not super close to public transportation so a vehicle is definitely recommended. Very friendly and accommodating hosts, would recommend.

Had an amazing stay at Leah’s place. The place was small and comfy, perfect for 2 people. Everything was provided and her place just off the main road. Will recommend staying here again!

We loved our stay at the Wind down cabin:) we did lots of our own cooking and never found ourselves in need of kitchen utensils or anything! The cabin had a very rustic vibe, if that's what you're looking for, this is the place to go:)

Kim’s place on the beach was exactly what the doctor ordered, quiet, peaceful and private, well appointed with a pile of extras that were beyond expectations but deeply appreciated. Beds were comfy and the place was impeccably clean on arrival. The deck had an awesome view of the ocean and there was abundant wildlife present, we had an excellent stay, the only complaint was that we didn’t book for longer… will definitely book a stay again, feeling like this might be the new favorite spot….

We had a fabulous 4 day stay with perfect weather! We loved the access to the sea, the views from the balcony especially at sun set, the peaceful location and the hot tube. Rhys and Joanne were perfect hosts- very friendly and helpful. This was our first visit to the Sunshine Coast which we loved and feel so happy we found the cabin and its perfect location! Thank you
