On the outskirts of the small seaside Italian town Positano, in a particularly hilly stretch of the Amalfi Coast, lies a luxury property Villa Affresco. This massive three-floor estate, has seven rooms for groups with no larger than fourteen guests. The villa has a uniquely elevated position on the periphery of Positano so that nearly the whole town can be seen at once from the estate’s massive terraces. Adorned in an alluring combination of classical antiques and rustic agrarian charms, Villa Affresco is for those who wish to have an authentic Mediterranean experience. The original building is over three centuries old, though Villa Affresco has since been renovated to meet the needs of today’s discerning travelers. The villa has both security gates and an alarm system to make it secure. Wi-Fi access is found throughout the home, alongside other electronic conveniences. The estate’s terraces are among its most powerful draws, where one can find the swimming pool, outdoor showers, bar, barbeque and alfresco dining and lounging areas. From the outside, Villa Affresco has a coral, almost pastel-toned facade, worn from the passing of the years, though the interior has been recently renovated. A minimalist color scheme throughout the living and dining areas, sprinkled with stylish furnishings and objets d’art promote a sense of calm and collectedness. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances and is perfect for preparing fantastic meals for any sized group and occasion. Each of Villa Affresco’s seven plush bedchambers are air conditioned and have a full en-suite bathroom stocked with toiletries. Additionally all suites come with a large double bed, with the exception of one room having a single. One very unique feature of the bedrooms are the beautifully painted ceilings done in the quadratura style, which has the effect of opening up the room and also adds an air of style belonging to the Renaissance era. Villa Affresco is conveniently located within walking distance to the stores, restaurants and beach areas of Positano. One of the town’s main sights include the church of Santa Maria Assunta which features a dome made of majolica tiles as well as a thirteenth-century Byzantine icon of a black Madonna. Villa Elizabeth

The sights, sounds and scent of the sea are a feast for the senses at Villa Elizabeth. Perched on the Amalfi Coast near Conca dei Marini, this gorgeous vacation rental offers a spectacular location for an Italian getaway. Reserve its three bedrooms for a holiday with family, an escape with friends or even a sun-kissed honeymoon. Get close to the sea on the villa’s multiple levels of private terraces, which spill down the hillside toward the water. There are lemon trees and vegetable gardens (to whose produce guests are welcome), an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue, a seasonal saltwater pool and a swimming deck at the shoreline. Inside, a blue and white color scheme is a nod to the seaside location of this luxury property. The tiled floors were handmade in Vietri and flow throughout both living rooms and the fully equipped kitchen. Both sitting areas have TVs, and Wi-Fi is available in both the indoor and outdoor living areas. The three bedrooms at Villa Elizabeth are divided between two separate “cottage” areas; all three have double beds and sea views. The first cottage has one bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and one with a shared hall bathroom, and the second has a primary suite with a shared hall bathroom and its own terrace. The second cottage also has an additional double bed, if extra accommodations are needed. The villa is set just off the road between Amalfi and Positano, a short distance from the scenic beach at the Fiordo of Furore, making it easy to spend a day exploring both towns and the glorious coastline in between. Villa Luisa is built on three levels: ground floor, upper floor and basement. All rooms enjoy air conditioning and heating. To enter the Villa, you have to walk a small path in the garden which will bring you to the terrace and to the entrance door. The terrace is a beautiful area well equipped with sofas, armchairs, and a table where outdoor dining is possible. The terrace is covered to protect from bad weather and enjoys a beautiful unobstructed view of the sea. Passing through the glass entrance door on the ground floor, you find yourself in the large living room. The area is divided into three open spaces: on one side a sofa and television, in the middle area a sofa facing the sea, while the third zone is the dining area adjacent to the kitchen. The industrial kitchen is equipped with a four range stovetop, grill, dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, freezer, wine refrigerator, and meat slicer. The living room and the kitchen are connected by an outdoor dining terrace, perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. A second external area with external electric grill is located off the back of the kitchen. Outdoors, the beautiful, saltwater infinity pool boasts amazing sea-views. The large pool deck enjoys a sun deck and a small covered space with a daybed. The pool leads down several steps to two dressing rooms with four showers and one bathroom.
