Waterfront holiday rentals in Province of Lecce

Perfect stay right near the beach that felt like home! This property has super comfortable beds, nice linens and many little things that made for a very relaxing stay. We thought we’d visit a number of the villages in the area, but found ourselves just wanting to relax at the house and on the local beaches instead. If we come back to the area, we are 100% staying here again. Also, although there are good restaurants in town, cooking was easy bc there’s a BBQ on the patio, lots of spices and pots/pans to cook with and plenty of plates/cups/glasses/etc. It’s a well stocked kitchen - much more so than many other places I’ve stayed. If you’re thinking about this place, stop looking at other options and book it. You won’t regret your decision. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!!

I had a great 3 day stay at Franca's apartment. There are 2 balconies with a view of the sea. I cooked dinner each night and ate with a sea view! The apartment has everything for a comfortable stay. The bathroom is clean with a big, comfortable shower. The kitchen is stocked with lots of pots, dishes, utensils and coffee pods. The washing machine came in very handy. The apartment is a 2 minute walk from a beautiful, quiet beach and maybe 5 minutes from Otranto, it's beaches and all it offers. If you get a chance, don't miss Sant'Andrea and Torre del Orso for some really stunning scenery. I rented a moped from Chiriatti moto in town, though during the summer, there's regular bus service. I highly recommend Franca's place for your trip to Otranto and the Salento region.

The apartment is modern, spacious and chic. It is located on the 4th floor of a block of flats with 2 large terraces with sea views. A small, quiet beach is on one side, and a very long and busy beach on the other. There are numerous shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. You don't need a car if you don't want to go on excursions. Maria and Tommaso are extremely nice and helpful. Check-in and check-out were very efficient. A basket of food and drinks was provided at the reception, and on the last day, a bottle of olive oil as a surprise. Everything has been thought of in the apartment, even beach loungers. The WiFi works well, and the car can be parked in the courtyard. It was a very relaxed week.

We stayed 3 days in Otranto in Tania's house. Very good in all respects. Courtesy, cleanliness, fragrant environment and linen, size of the environment, street parking with a pass given to us by Tania and therefore free, beautiful terrace even if not used as we were always out. We recommend

I've had a fantastic week in this accommodation. We felt right at home from the warm welcome of Daniela and Valentino at check-in. The accommodation was very clean and provided with everything and a little more that we could need. The accommodation is located with fantastic panoramic views of the sea, very close to the water, several different beaches and swimming areas. The accommodation is located between two villages with exquisite restaurants and cafes on each side. We are more than satisfied with our stay and will gladly return here.

Really enjoyed the sea view from the terrace

We stayed for 11 nights in June. The place was very private and quiet. The apt. had everything we needed. The sea was really just a 1 minute walk away and there were hardly any other people swimming. The water was very nice. The terrace was incredible and had direct sun only in the morning. The view is east bound. The master bed was good in size, the mattress could be better. Towels and sheets were plenty and clean. The washing machine was good. The kitchen stove works with gas and the hot water works with a boiler. The water pressure was good and the water was always warm. The oven didn’t work unfortunately, switching it on made the electricity go off. WiFi does not work well inside the house but on the terrace, but we didn’t mind. We had a wonderful stay here and would recommend the place for a couple or a small family.

We felt completely comfortable. Rosanna welcomed us warmly and gave us useful tips. The house is in a beautiful unobstructed location... you could take a creative break here for a long time! The rooms and the furnishings are very tastefully designed. The pool is truly a dream. Beautiful water! In the kitchen it has everything you need. It is important to have a car, as a good supermarket is already a 10-minute drive away. The beaches are very nice and the water is clean and beautiful! Puglia is very pleasant to travel in the fall. Not everything is open anymore, but it has a lot fewer people!

There were two of us staying at the place for six nights and more than satisfied. May is before the season, so we were alone in the entire street. The terrace is a dream, but visible to the neighbors. Because we were alone, this was nothing difficult. We highly recommend the apartment, Fernando was a great host and was always easily accessible and friendly!

Words cannot describe how immensely special and beautiful this home is. Even the walls have soul! Every bedroom is in its own floor, which felt very private. The home is decorated beyond beautifully and is within walking distance of everything on the island, including amazing restaurants. What words cannot explain is how after staying at many Airbnb’s throughout our travels, the host is BEYOND amazing. She provided customized recommendations for everything on the island based on her experiences (the home is a beautifully restored family home)…. Places that avoided the typical tourist traps. She made sure we were absolutely comfortable, going out of her way at every opportunity. If her parking space is free, without a doubt, I recommend getting it as parking is very limited on the island. The view is literally the best in all of Gallipoli. Literally. Enjoyed so many gorgeous sunsets on 5 different terraces!!!!! Of course, the top one with a 360 degree view could not be beat!!!

Dajana's place is a real gem. Clean, spacious, well equipped and beautifully decorated. She was very welcoming and friendly and allowed us to use the terrace which I must say was one of the highlights of our holiday!! The beaches are a short walk away as well as restaurants and bars. We recommend Captain Morgan for a delicious and fresh seafood dinner without frills and the pistacchio pesto ice-cream at Sacanfo gelateria. There's also a a supermarket nearby and several deli to get local bakery products. We highly recommend Dajana's place and hope to be back again 💕

House very well located in a very quiet environment. Pietro is very available and has a real sense of hospitality. Ideally located to radiate on the territory and with a small beach nearby (2 min walk) to swim safely and snorkel (which is a real plus, because in Italy the beaches are either private: overloaded, or difficult to find for access to the water due to the geological specificities of the coast). We were a couple and really enjoyed this house.

We had a wonderful week at Antonio’s home. It was even better than the photos and description. Little details like having coffee to make in the morning, some water in the fridge on arrival and cookies for the girls. We arrived quite late and Antonio met us to ensure we got in ok. He was so helpful with recommending some great spots for food, beach clubs, local activities, local supermarkets. In my opinion, Antonio went above and beyond to ensure that we had a lovely holiday.

Very nice, clean, well-equipped apartment with a mega-large garden area. Very nice hosts who welcomed and said goodbye to us with gifts, Giuseppe was always available & everything worked out well. We'll be back!

We had a very relaxing time in Vittorio's apartment. The large balcony has a great view of the sea. 2 beaches are directly opposite, only across the quiet road from the apartment. The free city beach with the wind-protected bay can also be reached in a few minutes on foot. The sea is crystal clear and shines in all shades of blue. The old town of Otranto is also within a few minutes' walk and offers a wide range of restaurants and ice cream parlours. Vittorio welcomed us very nicely, also gave us many tips during the stay and stayed in touch with us. The apartment is lovingly furnished and has everything you need. We recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing holiday in Otranto.

Terrazza Doxi Fontana is a beautiful apartment with large terrace & amazing views from inside and out. The 3 en-suite bedrooms are very similar making sharing fair for everyone. There are lots of stairs to access the apartment so not suitable for people with mobility issues. Once inside it’s on one level and has a good layout. A great place to chill out. No parking available close by at the port so we had to offload luggage and wait with it whilst someone else parked much further away. Inconvenient but workable. Gallipoli was a lovely place to visit whilst exploring Puglia.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful penthouse! The views are absolutely stunning. You can see the sea from every angle, and the sunsets were truly unforgettable. The area is peaceful and quiet, yet just a short walk from the historic city center. Communication with the host was smooth and easy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay!

Antonio is a perfect catch! The apartment is very well equipped, there is everything you need: coffee, water, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, lots of fruit in the fridge and lots of other touches like a bottle of rosé ☺️ This welcome made us forget our 6 hour drive! The environment is quiet, close to port Badisco where there is a bar the Skafè on the edge of the cliff absolutely cool! The beaches, one of which is 10 minutes' walk away, are superb. In short, everything was perfect and we would be delighted if all Airbnb could be like Antonio's. We highly recommend it! Thank you for everything Antonio 🤩
