Farm in the middle of a wild garden

Our cottage is located on the outskirts of the village of Ostrý, which is surrounded by vast pastures and forests of the Jistebnická vrchovina Nature Park. There used to be a farm here, of which only the stables and the swallows nesting in them remain today. Around the cottage is a large natural garden, which we use partly as a utility and partly as an ornamental garden. On one side, the garden ends with a pond, a road and a neighboring house, on the other sides it passes into an open landscape. There is a cat in the garden and in the house and a hen in the yard.

The apartment with sauna (included) is a duplex, at the top there is a large room with a fully equipped kitchen, two-burner stove, refrigerator with freezer, microwave and kettle. The room is also equipped with a table with forged chairs, a large TV with internet, a sofa bed and a single bed. At the bottom of the apartment there are two single beds, a toilet and a bathroom with a shower. Also a play kitchen for children, books, toys. The apartment has a fenced garden with seating, grill, sandbox and sauna.

Welcome to the old station. A mix of old and interesting things, including Thonet and Halabala chairs. I’ve collected various pieces of art and furniture over time, giving the place a unique feel. Floors are a bit squeaky and feature different types of materials, adding to the charm. Some furniture needs a little repair, kitchen is basic, that's a part of its character though. It’s not perfect, but it’s homey and full of stories. If you’re looking for a modern and super clean place, not here.
