The fact that it is not to far makes it even more worthwhile. The pictures don't so justice to how beautiful this place is. Will definitely be going back. The staff(Lynos) was very helpful. The bed was warm and comfortable. The area is absolutely peaceful. I highly recommend 5 star rating

We rented this place for several families as a homebase for 40th bday celebrations over the course of the weekend. Really great space for big contingent with big rooms, lots of common space, lots of amenities and opportunities for hosting and fun. We were lucky that even though it's going into winter, sun was out and sky cloudless so it didn't get bitterly cold in the open common spaces. Even so, there are many fireplaces scattered about. Will be a great venue particularly in spring / summer for anything from multi family or friend holiday home base in Harties to bachelor party venue. (Not being in an estate or similar means noise also isn't an issue). PS, there's a nice deck for any avid skywatchers. Brought my telescope along and had some great lunar, stellar and planetary views

I stayed at Mimie's for 3 weeks while on a work trip to Pretoria and couldn't have chosen a better place. The cabin was cosy and the plants and trees in the compound made me completely at home. Mimie's place is in a lovely and serene neighbourhood within walking distance to a shopping complex and a number of good restaurants. The highlight of my stay was Mimie's hospitality! She left snacks at my place on the first day since I was arriving in the evening and brought home made cookies for me to take home as she came to bid me farewell!

Monica was an incredibly helpful and attentive! From the moment I booked, she made sure we had all the information we needed. The place is exactly as described - peaceful, secluded, and perfect for a quiet escape. The surroundings are stunning, and the “Mountain Shack” has a rustic charm that makes you feel close to nature while still having everything you need. Thank you, Monica, for the warm hospitality!

We spent a weekend at Temple, and I still think about it. The area was quiet and peaceful, and the property was absolutely beautiful! I felt like I wasn't in Johannesburg anymore. It was the perfect stay away from home. There was a small water outage in the area during our stay, but the host was so helpful with getting us water, and the problem was resolved early in our stay. The house is absolutely beautiful and the garden was so lovely to sit in and read. Overall, our stay was so amazing and I can't wait to come back!

A unique place to stay. A cosy cabin located in a quiet suburb in Midrand, just a stone throw away from Mall of Africa. The best venue I’ve been in so far. The space is clean, spacious, has a great view and best value for money. Wish I would have stayed much longer. Will definitely book the place out again soon.

For me this was a minimal, rustic and simple stay. The place & space was able to give me comfort, peace and privacy. Enjoyed furnishing style,clean linens and comfortable bed. The space suited me well for some creative work, which I appreciated!
