We had our wedding at this location and it was absolutely amazing! All the guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to and they weren’t wrong. The location was stunning and Douge was amazingly helpful, kind, accommodating, and responsive. He was there in person to show us around and give us a hand. I can not say enough about how fantastic these hosts are and how beautiful this site is. We easily had 11 people stay on site comfortably, the cabin is stunning, the trailers are lovely and everyone was very happy. Thank you so much Douge and Tracy for the amazing stay and for going above and beyond to help make our wedding day a huge success!

Our stay at Ekta & Peter's place was absolutely wonderful! Before we even realized our ferry mishap would affect our plans, Ekta proactively called to offer adjusting our dates – such a thoughtful gesture that saved our trip. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by Ekta, Peter, and their charming chickens who showed us around. The cabin is a perfect forest retreat – cozy, well-stocked, and filled with natural light through skylights and windows framing the trees. Just a few hundred metres away, Grassy Point Park offered beautiful ocean views and birdwatching. The private jacuzzi nestled among the trees was especially magical at night. Ekta's artistic touch shines throughout, from her beautiful pottery (which you actually use!) to the playful chicken-themed touches. Prepare to be charmed by more whimsical chicken decor than you ever thought was possible, plus real chickens leaping for berries outside the cabin! We can’t wait to be back!

This place is exactly what it looks online. Beautiful view, peaceful surroundings, beside the water and a cosy cottage with everything you need. Cathy was a responsive host and we cannot wait to come back!

The cabin was everhthing we wanted and needed. We had an absolute fabulous stay. It’s isolated enough that you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but it’s still close enough to Courtenay so you’re close to the shops etc. Because of the location, it’s very peaceful. The cabin was cozy; the bed was really comfortable and the wood fire hot tub was such a neat experience! We definetely want to come back, maybe when there is snow because it must be magical.

We had a great time at Paul's place, private and peaceful. Watched the stars from the hot tub and sunset from divers rock (quick walk). The snorkeling around divers rock is fantastic at low tide, provided the ocean chill doesn't take you out too fast! The yurt was a really neat experience, well insulated and quiet. Would definitely stay again!

Wendy's place was everything we needed for this weekend getaway! A beautiful and serene location. The cabin itself was very clean. It had everything we needed, and the instructions were clear. Wendy was very accommodating and friendly. Fortunately, we were able to do an early check-in, which gave us more time to enjoy her place! We will definitely be back and have already recommended it to others.

The cabin is really nice and has everything you need. the fenced yard was great for our dog that loved to sit out in the yard and watch squirrels and sniff things :) - beds are comfortable the house has everything you need. thanks!

Myself and two of my team members stayed at Michael’s place April 23-26 and we had an absolutely wonderful time! The home itself is so cozy and warm with stunning views and surroundings. It was quiet and peaceful, well equipped and extremely clean! We spent our time hiking and exploring the area but the highlight of the trip was the sunset paddle we enjoyed in the kayaks. The only negative feedback I could share is that I found the beds extremely hard and uncomfortable but that may also be a matter of preference. All in all in was a fantastic stay and I would certainly recommend Michael’s place to anyone looking for a relaxing or adventurous getaway with friends or family!!

The Funky Bunky is a lovely little cabin, very quiet and private. There’s amenities to make the stay smooth and simple, and the river right next to us was very pleasant to watch and listen to. Carol and Danny were very gracious hosts, very responsive and had everything we needed. Will be back again

Great value for the price! Very cozy, quiet, peaceful place to rejuvenate in nature. Not super close to public transportation so a vehicle is definitely recommended. Very friendly and accommodating hosts, would recommend.

My wife and I had an amazing time spending our honeymoon here. The float house was super comfy. You can sit on the deck and watch the tide come in slowly. The people on the island are super kind. Be sure to check out the farmers market on Fridays to meet the locals. As well as all the road stands set up.

Stunning open-plan living area – the spacious chef’s kitchen and airy layout made it a dream for relaxing, cooking, and entertaining guests . Incredible attention to detail – everything feels fresh, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. Impeccable host communication – booking to check‑out, the host was attentive, clear, and helpful.

Excellent little cabin tucked away in the forest. Really good location, with 2 stores right acrosss the road, but you wouldn't know it because it's so quiet. The cabin is beautiful, with wood interior and spacious decks. It's a small space, but is designed efficiently. George and Kim are very friendly, with many great tips for island destinations.

We had an amazing weekend at the cabin! Cheyenne was incredibly helpful, and we truly appreciated the flexibility. We highly recommend this beautiful location and can’t wait to return on our next visit to the Sunshine Coast. Thanks again!

Had a fabulous girls get away in this GORGEOUS cottage! It was beautifully curated using natural wood elements, tasteful decor, and comfortable furniture. The view from the deck is absolutely breathtaking. We did not utilize the kitchen at all, but could tell not a thing was missing, even an impressive spice drawer. We loved that we could walk to the cafe for our coffee in the morning, and everything we needed was also walking distance. The beds were comfortable as well! I was surprised that the bathroom was quite small, but definitely not a deal breaker! I would happily stay here again, and in fact, can’t wait to come again! The place was beautiful, with the Savary Island vibe. Eclectic and comfortable. Tim allowed us to upgrade to the bigger cabin to accommodate our needs, very helpful. The facilities were amazing considering it is an off the grid cabin, it had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The location is great with easy access to the store and beach. I would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely lovely place to stay- the cabin was so adorable and clean, and the horses were beautiful too! Jayne went above and beyond with some eggs from the farm and fresh bread! :)

We loved our stay at Alene’s cabin! Beautiful location, quiet and easy to find. The hosts were very helpful and responsive, and made our stay very enjoyable. We’d love to stay there again when we visit Sunshine Coast in the future.

Our family loved our stay here. Leah is the kindest and most welcoming of hosts. The cabin’s location was perfect for us, close enough to family gatherings in Courtenay but in such a serene place we could unwind in the evenings and enjoy walks surrounded by huge cedars to the beach for the beautiful sunsets. Very dog friendly and we just adored meeting Timber and loving on her too. It was so perfect!

it was only an overnight stay, but loved it. quiet area. awesome kitchen. very clean and even though my doggies didn't make it, they were welcome to stay. Sandi was very nice and helpful, greeting us and showing us in. Thanks for the great communication and stay

I don't have enough words to describe how beautiful this place is. It is a quiet, bright, spacious cabin nestled in a jaw-droppingly beautiful valley. Tanya has furnished it very well and is a lovely host. It is close to many hiking trails, lakes, and streams. Port Alberni is very close, and the Pacific Rim National Park is less than 2 hours away. If you're looking for a soul-replenishing vacation home, you could not find a more gorgeous place.

This is the 3rd year in a row that we have stayed here. It feels like home. The cottage is in the most beautiful location imaginable. Having our meals on the deck overlooking the ocean continued to amaze us day after day. It is be hard to find this combination of beauty, privacy, peace and value in any rental space. This is a rare find!

I loved my stay here. I enjoyed an afternoon stroll along the lake and relaxed on the porch h in the evening. The cottage had everything I needed. Just wish I could have stayed longer.
