It was used by the guardians of the weir and lock. The most beautiful chateaux, villages, vineyards of the Loire Valley and the Beauval zoo are minutes away.

Ideally located 25 minutes from the famous Beauval Zoo and close to the major tourist sites of the Loire Valley, this farmhouse offers all the comforts for a pleasant stay. Bakery/convenience store within walking distance. The accommodation, located in a farmhouse as an extension of my home, is completely independent.

The Gîte de la Cure is a charming little cottage that can accommodate 2 people. It is located in the heart of the Loire castles (Château de Chenonceau, Cheverny, Chaumont sur Loire, Amboise, Blois, Montpoupon...) and 23 km from Beauval zoo. It is located in the village of Pontlevoy with bakery open from 6:30 am except Wednesdays and a Carrefour Contact ( 8am/8pm except Sunday 9am/1pm) nearby. It is a well-equipped cottage on the guest plot with a small private garden.

In the building you will find the kitchen entrance on the ground floor (including, among others, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, stove, Senseo coffee maker). On the first floor, a pleasant living room (large screen TV and sofa bed), then a master bedroom on the second floor, with the toilet and shower space.

The house and flat attached are perched on elevated grounds with a very beautiful view of the valley. The property is set amongst vineyards and forest above and a park below it.
