Holiday rentals with lake access in Portage County

Have been staying here for several years. Will definitely stay again! We love the place and lake.

River Time was an amazing river front property. Fishing from the bank was easy catching walleye, northern and carp. The 3 season porch is a peaceful location to relax and watch the river flow. Everything you need is there! Host is easy to communicate with. A great option if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing shore front property. You may even catch a glimpse of the albino deer!

I had an amazing stay at Deb and Matt’s place! From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The house itself was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. I especially loved my master room—it was cozy and perfect for relaxing after a long day. My friends and I had a fantastic experience overall, but what truly set this stay apart was the hosts' generosity. On the day of checkout, the weather took a turn for the worse, with heavy rain and snow making driving difficult—especially for my rear-wheel-drive car. Without hesitation, Deb and Matt offered us an extra night free of charge, which was beyond kind and made all the difference. They are truly the best hosts, and I can’t recommend this place enough! If you're looking for a wonderful Airbnb experience, this is the place to stay!

What a great place! Our family visited when it was still a bit cold but thoroughly enjoyed the house and property! The views are gorgeous, the house is so cool with a lot of unique features and things to offer. Our family kept saying that we would love to come back when it’s warmer to take full advantage of what the house and lake offers. Tony was great at communicating, the house was very clean and offered much more than other places we’ve stayed. They have truly thought of everything! Highly recommend!

Great place for a visit with family or friends. The river is right there, so it’s super scenic!

This was a perfect spot for our big family. We loved the vibe and felt very welcome.

We were here briefly but the space was clean, the kitchen was equipped enough to make dinner, the beds were comfortable, and it was quiet. The view was also great.

Senada’s house was great! Looks like a rustic house on the outside, but very modern, comfortable, clean, and spacious on the inside. Great views of the lake from the living room. Comfortable outside deck and fire pit area as well. Kayaks and canoe were great additions and very useful. A note to visitors that you can swim in the lake, but there is no beach and is very mucky by the house so better to swim in the middle or just drive a few minutes down the road to sunset lake which has great swimming. Location was quite rural, so takes some time (20 mins to Stevens Point) to get to town for any amenities, but on weekends there is an excellent coffee shop open in Nelsonville (Ruby’s coffee) just 5 mins away. Overall a great location for those looking for a bit of relaxation and quiet.
