House holiday rentals in Portage County

My family and I really spent a great weekend together at the house which was as advertised really clean, cozy and very accommodating. It has the perfect layout to spend time with family. The basement was the busiest place where we would all gather to play golf on the mat, play card games and on top of that the bar setting adds more luxury. The only things that we think needs improvement are the bathrooms. For example the location of the bathroom on the second floor is not easily accessible to the other two bedrooms. The one on the first floor does not have any electric outlets unless we could not see them. As for the staff, they were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make sure whatever we contacted them for was met in a timely matter. Overall, we were extremely pleased, would recommend it and will definitely rent it again if we have to visit another time. Thank you

The new location where we stayed in the Ohio area where we were visiting was fabulous. Lee was very gracious to allow us to stay there, even though she wasn’t quite ready to have her home available to visitors. We did not need to communicate with Kellie as Lee was right there on the property and was available as needed.

We had a great stay while taking a quick trip to visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame in nearby Canton. The accommodations were very comfortable, and the home had a unique combination of older home quality/charm and modern amenities, including an amazing master bath suite. We made great use of the fire pit in the back, which has wood provided on hand. The surrounding community was peaceful, but had ready access to all stores, restaurants, etc., that you'd want in the area.

House was very clean and comfortable. Lots of snacks and and beverages, which was nice. The owner had a large carton of fresh eggs waiting for us when we arrived. Full size truck and 19' bass boat fit easily in the driveway with electric access a few feet away. TVs are older and not many viewing options. House uses well water and there is an odor.

This place truly is immaculate. The home was very spacious, perfectly clean and easily accommodated our group. The host was kind, very responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend and would book again.

This is a gem of a home! Our group was able to spend quality time together during a week of celebrating a wedding. This home has everything you could need and is very private, quiet, and feels very safe! Alise responded immediately when we would reach out with questions. Would highly recommend!!

This was my first Air B&B. I wasn’t to familiar and reached out ahead of time. Danielle responded within a few minutes. The house was amazing. Super clean and quiet. The pond and the yard were extremely well kept. Once we got home we thought we left something behind and I contacted Danielle. She was willing to send the item and that there makes a fantastic host. Thank you Danielle for being so helpful and understanding.

Kevin’s place was great. So peaceful and everything you need right there. Plant of space for larger groups love the fact you have a whole separate loving space downstairs to kind of be separated. Everything was wonderful beautiful lake. Kevin is super responsive and always there to answer questions. Would highly recommend.

It was another great stay at Ruth's place. Our 3rd year there and have already booked another stay. Nice place and Ruth is great to deal with and always a friendl host that makes you feel right at home!

I wish I could give more than a 5 star review! if ever a place earned a 1,000 stars, this is it! It's the perfect balance of luxury and comfort. The decor is charming. the hosts were fabulous and attentive. The kitchen has every appliance and utensil you could desire. The view is great and there is so much to do on the grounds. We enjoyed pickleball a walking around the lake. We spent a lovely evening around a campfire made from the amply stocked wood pile. No attention to detail was spared and everything was impeccably clean. I have stayed at Air Bnbs all over the country and this one tops them all! I know this is a place I will be returning to over and over again.

This home is comfortable and has a wonderful fully covered front porch that is perfect to sit in morning with coffee and sit in the evening with a drink and watch the college town come alive. we will stay again and again if available whenever we are in Kent! Thanks Team!

Beautiful little place right on the water! Sunrise was gorgeous and surroundings were picturesque. Jason was so kind and responsive — we really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Our guy's weekend was great fun, thanks to the quiet and clean rental. We appreciated the hot tub and games, as well as the prompt and courteous communication from the hosts. When our coffee machine wouldn't turn on, they were there with a replacement remarkably fast, despite our finding a work around with the kettle. The small things make stays great - and we appreciated our hosts!

More beautiful than the pictures show, I thoroughly enjoyed this house. Decor was beautiful mid-century/shaker style, which I personally love. Spotless. The house was exceptionally well designed imo, great work triangle in the kitchen, the small bathroom was well thought out for functionality and there were lots of hang out spaces which all felt cozy and inviting. The backyard was private with a great view out over the hillside. Usually you can’t find private and a great view together. The neighborhood was exceptional, every home on the street was on a large parcel which added to the privacy of the home. I would highly recommend Sycamore house as a great place to stay. My husband and I have stayed in many beautiful vacation homes that were fine as vacation homes but you wouldn’t want to live in. This is a home that would love to live in. I was in town doing some wedding planning with my daughter who lives in Garrettsville, I hope to stay here again in the future.

Bridget’s Hop House was a great stay! The house had everything we needed. It was very clean and welcoming. Bridget is a great host, clear and timely communication along with great recommendations. We enjoyed being able to walk to town and see the sights. Thank you Bridget
