This historical house has stunning vaulted sandstone ceilings and rooms decorated in Scandic-Italian style. A spacious bedroom, en-suite bathroom and a small lounge area with private entrance from the street. A fantastic location but not for the faint hearted, lots of steps, but it's worth it. La piccola casa in grotta ha un ingresso indipendente. è una piccola camera ipogea ricavata totalmente all’interno della massa tufacea . Le grotte hanno un loro particolare microclima che viene regolato da impianto di riscaldamento in inverno e deumidificazione quando necessario. Nello spazio esterno, arredato con tavolino e sedie, è possibile incontrare e fare amicizia con la mia gattina e con il mio cane, un dolcissimo Border Collie . Soggiornare in una grotta è un esperienza.

Grotta Confort in the Sassi

Inside a popular hotel in the Sassi di Matera, this cave room is accessed from the common terrace through a large French door. It's an alcove entirely dug into the tuff. Extremely welcoming even just for the conformation, hollow and rounded it looks almost like a mother's womb. The bathroom, although small, has a bidet and a shower. It is equipped with air conditioning, TV, mini-bar and free WiFi. A rich and special breakfast buffet is included in the cost of the cave.
