Beachfront holiday rental in Port of Barcelona

I had a wonderful stay at Juan Jose's apartment. It was my first trip to Spain, Arenys de Mar was the perfect place to land. The Airbnb was perfect—it is located on a quiet street, but just off the busy main road with all the shops, restaurants, and cafes. I did not have a car and could walk anywhere, or walk 8 minutes to the R1 train to go to Barcelona! A large supermarket (Mercadona) is about ten minutes walk, and there are also fruits and vegetable shops and convenient stores just steps from the Airbnb. And the ocean is right there as well! The Airbnb itself was spotless, extremely clean and tidy. I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Oh, and the deck is marvelous. Juan Jose is very fast with his correspondence and replying to messages. I appreciate that very much and put my mind at ease when I preparing for my trip. It was a joy to explore Arenys de Mar, and I hope to return someday. Highly recommend!

Betty and Juan's house is wonderful. Very large and spacious, clean and tastefully decorated and giving special attention to the little details. They're great hosts. Attentive, friendly and very close. I'm sure on some occasion if possible, we will repeat. You are a great family!

Blanca was a great host, very responsive and helpful with any questions we had about the area and things to do. The apartment is wonderful, directly at the beach, just as described . The port is just a few steps away. You can reach Barcelona within 30 to 45 minutes by car and that’s also a train going close by

Stunning sea views. Full sunlight all day and beautiful terraces to enjoy it! The hosts are very kind and responsive (although the nice gentleman who gave us the keys didn’t speak English or French, good to know). As for the bedrooms, we were woken up by 6:30 am by trains (noise and vibrations), but other reviews show that it doesn’t bother heavier sleepers. The apartment was very clean and functional (except for the hot water, which wasn’t properly set at first – only one small shower was possible on the first day, not for two people in a row). The decoration is just as shown in the pictures.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the apartment was clean and Karine was a great host, very accommodating and helpful!

We spent our nearly 3 week vacation there. From the first moment, we felt right at home. Santiago is a very friendly and helpful person. If you are looking for tranquility and local tourism then you are in the right place. If you are looking for a shopping center you have near Mataro that in 15 min. by car you are there and if you want to spend a day with many tourists you have near Calella. In Arenys de Mar that is a few minutes away you have all the essentials you need. If you want to go to the beach walking you are also in a pispas there and if you take your dog you are lucky that precisely there is an area reserved for them. Being the house in an area with a lot of wood you will see squirrels and hear the owl. All in all we have returned happy and with the batteries charged.

Very nice place close to the sea and the train station. Very well equipped.

We had a great time in Sylvia's place. It's spacious and the large terrace and garden let us have some relaxing time. The parking just outside the house is convenient. The house is only a 30-40min drive from Barcelona and there are a number of attractions nearby. Highly recommended!

A wonderful apartment for a holiday, very comfortable and well equipped. A very warm welcome from Carmen and Marta who met us at the station and showed us local shops and restaurants as well as explaining how everything worked in the apartment. It was great to have the beach so close as well as the pool. Day trips to Sitges and Barcelona were easy to get to on the train. Not all local restaurants were open during the week but we visited in late September so at the end of the season. We were able to cook in the apartment when we did not dine out. We really enjoyed our stay in Cubelles and hope to return to this apartment again.

A great place to stay. very close to quiet beaches and a quick walk away from the supermarket. the communal pool is clean and often quiet. the property itself is beautiful, with everything needed for a great stay available. would definitely recommend.

Family of 5 had a great time! Beautiful, spacious and clean appartment with 4 bedrooms. Comfortable beds and efficient AC, fast WIFI. Quiet area with some nice restaurants and a big supermarked with everything we needed. Nice beach and pool area/garden. Loved the terraces! 15-20 minutes walk to train station, and 50 minutes to Barcelona by train. Roger was very friendly and service minded! Highly reccomended!

Juliana was a great host from the start. Very responsive to our queries and friendly throughout. Was happy to accommodate our request to drop our bags before check-in, then completely surprised us on the day we arrived by having the apartment ready for us to check in straight away. This was very welcomed after our flight and with 2 children in tow! Juliana gave us a lovely tour of the apartment, including a really useful whiteboard detailing lots of local info, apps and numbers. We would happily stay here again, and would recommend to others.

This was such a lovely place to stay in a community that cares for each other and the shared spaces. Everything was very clean. There is noise coming from the trains but it didn’t bother us. It’s not constant, stops at night and is only noticeable at the back. There were a couple of things to fix at the beginning of our stay and Domingo sorted them out quickly. Great communication throughout. The area is very peaceful with a promenade joining several towns along the coast perfect for walks and bike rides… and I wish I could take those views with me. There’s space in the seating room for 3/4 people but half of us never got to use it. We could watch TV from the balcony if we wanted a break from the views (which we never did)

Great place to be a super nice host! Bus two streets away directly to Barcelona, took about 45 min cost 2.65 euros. The home looked exactly like the pictures and was great! Fully equipped kitchen with everything necessary to get by. Olga responded quickly and provided clear instructions and descriptions. If I ever go to Barcelona again, I definitely stay at the same place! Highly recommended!

Very nice accommodation, very well equipped, ideally located between Barcelona (50 min from the heart of the city center by train), Salou and Montblanc.

Fabulous location. Everything you need is there. Less than a minute to the beach, with several great beach-side cafes and bars. Just a 10 minute walk to the train station with regular services to Sitges and Barcelona. I would definitely come back.

excellent stay! the accommodation was extremely clean which is very nice, very pretty, and functional! the beds were very comfortable, and we had all the basics! the accommodation is very well located, the beach a stone's throw away is quiet and beautiful, there are several restaurants in the area, and the train station and bus stations are close too!

This was our best Airbnb experience yet! We highly recommend this stay. Get away from the big city of Barcelona and enjoy a beautiful and quiet stay here! (It is an easy train ride into the city for tourism if you want and a quiet place to retreat to after a day of exploring Barcelona.). The house felt like home. Clean. Excellent. Comfortable. All the amenities and more. We give our highest recommendation for this home away from home.

Very clean and beautiful apartment. highly recommend the place. The view from the apartment is breathtaking. There is a bar just outside the apartment building open till 3AM. Great place.

We loved our stay at Marion’s apartment. Marion was in touch as soon as we booked and offered advice on travel and meet us at the train station. Which was greatly appreciated and took the stress out of arriving somewhere new with young children. The apartment is a beautiful relaxing space, even with two smallish kids… We enjoyed hanging out there together. The apartment had everything we needed and beach things. It felt lovely to be in. Canet when we were there did not feel touristy at all. Which did catch us out for eating as everything shuts 1-4. But it has a lovely community vibe, we did 9 different parks in one day and our kids played with the local kids. And there’s some with bars next them which was good for the everyone. The local food recommendations were spot on. Gatzara was a revelation! Amazing value lunch, friendly staff, we ate so much but make sure you book. There’s also so many food shops. A lovely stay and super easy to get to Barcelona by train.

Beautiful views, convenient parking, walkable to restaurants in marina, perfect for futbol training at stadium!
