Lower Suite at Cozy Corner

DebbieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Cozy Corner Suite was very comfortable and clean and had a wonderful view of mountains and ocean. The suite was also spacious and well equipped so we did not lack for anything. Lori and Matt were very friendly and gave us all the information we needed quickly. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Corner Suite!

I was looking for quiet and solitude on my trip and I got just that. House was rustic and cozy and my host had the wood fireplace going when I arrived which made it feel warm and welcoming.

JackieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a great weekend stay for four of us plus a little dog. The accommodation was clean, spacious, comfortable, close to everything we needed. Easy instructions for anything we needed. Nice patio in the front to enjoy the afternoon sun as well as a tidy fenced back yard for our dog. More than enough towels and soaps, coffee and tea provided. our host Angela was proactive in making sure any questions were answered. We would definitely stay here again.

Hyde creek escape

AmbaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Sean’s place is a gem! It’s a peaceful place and a perfect getaway for 2 people and a pet. The place is clutter free and very tastefully done. The living room does not have blinds but the overlooking front yard and ocean view is absolutely worth it. Our dog throughly enjoyed the big open space. The kitchen has everything you need and much more. Sauna felt great on a rainy, cold day. Drive to Port McNeil is about 10mins. Overall, a great experience!

Waterfront cottage on the Pristine westcoast

JamieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We came here for a nature-centred break and it was perfect in every way. Beautiful, waterfront location and very remote from the 'big' towns of North Island. Whilst WiFi was available, we chose not to access so we could totally escape. Arrival instructions from Glenn were clear and easy to understand. Recommend you download directions and maps before you leave Port Hardy, as cell coverage after this point is non-existent. Logging access roads were totally fine and fairly well maintained with the odd large pothole(s), which could challenge a normal family car after dark unless driving very carefully. Highly recommend the beautiful, easy 15 minute walk into Winter Harbour (lovely little shop, open 3pm to 5pm) along the boardwalk, accessible from house next door and beach walks at low tide. Trips to Grant Bay and The Scarlet Ibis Pub highly recommended. Our family (and dog) totally loved it here. Thanks for keeping it well maintained, very clean and cosy. We'd love to come back one day

Beautiful cottage on private 2 acre waterfront

NarwanRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Overall an amazing stay! Pros: cottage was clean and cosy. It had potable water and everything we needed to cook. When electricity went out on the entire North Island, there was a BBQ we used instead. We saw sea otters from the window and a pygmy owl on the porch, when stargazing - yes, you can see the Milky Way! Cons: Driveway is super steep, so we parked further up. Google Maps can't locate the cottage so more instructions had been helpful, especially when there is no reception after Port Hardy (after the Kwaksistah Regional Park Campsite sign, when reaching a "No Thru Road" sign, you go LEFT and it's the second cottage). No keys to lock the cottage. We found out from the neighbor that there was no electricity, a note left on the kitchen table mentioning this had been nice. We were out most of the day, so most of this didn't bother us much and we had a great time in Winter Harbour!

Orcas, bears & great fishing OH MY!! Remote cabin

JohnRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had an amazing stay! We are from Vancouver Island, but hadn’t had the opportunity to see this slice of paradise until now. We had a wonderful time chilling with friends and taking in the spectacular scenery. Camille arranged a water taxi and a tour for us with her friend Paul, seeing grizzlies was an added bonus. I hope to get back again to explore a little more! Thanks Camille and Paul!! John
