Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Port Antonio

Beautiful classic Jamaican home in a beautiful location, with plenty of space for our 3 families to enjoy. Kitchen was well-stocked. Beds were very comfortable. Private beach is a bit wild, but interesting for exploration. The on-sight team was friendly and helpful! Convenient to Reach Falls, with Portland’s best (Boston Jerk Center, Blue Lagoon, Winnifred beach and Frenchman’s Cove) a day trip away. There is some extensive road construction underway so map distances to desired locations to manage expectations.

Awesome place with all the necessary amenities. Extremely friendly and help people. Miss Pauline even helped cook meals for me!

Portland is SUCH a hidden gem in Jamaica and we were very comfortable in Paula's cute little apartment! The place is like a studio but with a door to the kitchen. There's a table if you need to work or to sit and eat, a bed, and a pull out couch as well! There's also an AC unit which is nice. The view of the sea is amazing, and the kitchen is well stocked with new supplies and spices, too, if you plan to cook :) It looks like many aspects of the apartment are brand new, we were very comfortable here and appreciate how warm Paula is and the grounds keeper as well. I would recommend having access to a car or having a driver (Paula kindly offered to put us in touch with one), as the place is off the main road so route taxis don't pass. I also liked that there was a great fruit stand on the main road down from Paula's place! You are close driving distance to different beaches but far away from noise and with a lovely view of the sea :) Would definitely stay again.

The place is located on a quiet street about a 20 min stroll from the center of town. Everything you need is within walking distance, including local shops selling vegetables and provisions, the Knutsford Express Station, restaurants, and the supermarket. The real thing! This place is awesome. Placement is just perfect, neigbourhood is safe and chill and the home is welcoming and cozy. Samuel is a great host! Kept good care of me, always asked if everything is good, provided what I needed, showed me around the city and I got to see more than a normal tourist would. Man felt like a big brother taking care! This is a go to place if u around Port Antonio! No complains, only compliments!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Bamboo Treehouse Great Huts Resort ! The treehouse was beyond amazing – perched in a beautiful, serene spot with breathtaking views that made every moment feel magical. The design and atmosphere were perfect, creating a cozy and immersive experience in nature. The staff and host went above and beyond, always friendly and incredibly hospitable, making sure we felt welcomed and cared for. Our Airbnb host was fantastic – responsive, kind, and truly dedicated to ensuring we had a memorable stay. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a peaceful, unique and rustic getaway in Jamaica!

My stay at this Airbnb in Portland, Jamaica, was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning natural beauty that surrounded the property. Nestled amidst lush greenery with breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea, this place is truly a hidden gem. The accommodations were immaculate and well-appointed, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. The rooms were spacious, the beds incredibly comfortable. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and the cleanliness of the entire space. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. For the 3 days I was there, she provided a guide for me , The guide was truly amazing, he took me anywhere I wanted to go and also helped me accomplished my goal by meeting Colaz Smith. I highly recommended this AirBnB and I can’t wait to go back to Jamaica and I will be reaching out to the host to reserve her AirBnB again. Thank you Randy

Christopher and his brother were wonderful host . The place was exactly as described beautiful mountain view perfect distance from the town and I felt extremely safe. You had peace and quiet but wasn’t far too from the action in the town :) The apartment is on the upper level of the house it’s very cozy clean and private . His brother lives downstairs but honestly you never see him so privacy isn’t an issue . The neighbour’s are very friendly . I had no water issues the water was always hot the bed is comfy and there’s more than enough linen , towels , and rags . Everything is in top notch condition . The only complain I have is I didn’t stay longer :) I’ve grown to love Portland in such a short trip and its beautiful surroundings. I had such an Amazing time . I definitely will be returning in the near future and hoping to build a home away from home there . That’s how much I loved it in port Antonio. I’ll be back . Don’t hesitate to book .

what can I say. Cleveland's cabin was a rustic retreat and the perfect getaway. He was always responsive and checked on me continuously to make sure I had everything I needed. I was able to make small meals in the kitchen. The bedroom was spacious with a bathroom en suite. I had everything I needed. There's no A/C, but the fans worked nicely. I will definitely keep in touch and seek him out for future tours and airport pick-up. Thanks for everything. bless up.

It was an absolute joy to stay at Easyman’s place for 1 week. Portland is a natural paradise, hidden away from the main tourist spots it feels like authentic Jamaica I loved being surrounded by nature, all the tropical plants, trees & animals. The neighbourhood felt safe & friendly, music plays loud through the night if you want to go for a drink at the many small bars along the road The cabin is simple but has everything you need. Kitchen is well equipped, bed is comfy (with mosquito net), cold shower is refreshing, fan keeps you cool at night… Yes there are a couple of bugs but this is natural living! Winnifred Beach is just a 10-15 min walk through the forest…. It’s not a luxury beach but a beautifully natural beach which I walked to everyday! I enjoyed swimming in the crystal clear sea & the home made jerk chicken from Doreen’s is delicious If you want an escape from the city, to enjoy the simple beach life & to connect with nature - I highly recommend this place

Sangela and Jason were welcoming and friendly hosts. They were attentive to any requests and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable in our stay. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone coming to Portland. The villa is beautiful with excellent views. It had all the comforts of home. AND more!!!! The hosts went above and beyond with their attention to detail here. The site is very safe and secure!!! A perfect location for accessing cook shop/attractions/town (or an ICE CREAM ;). I recommend a visit to Somerset Falls/The Rio Grande/Winifred Beach/Frenchman's cove/Blue Lagoon/and of course Boston Bay Beach and Jerk Center as well as a fish dinner (close by) at Likkle Portie. Endless amounts of Fun things to do, relaxation, and great new friends to be made! Don't hesitate to book this one!!! Wilbourn's place is magical! Have stayed at a few places in Portland and would definitely come back to Rocksteady Villa. Wilbourn is a great host and the place is spacious and clean. Lots of fresh air. Very nice community to stay in.
