On our property, which is approximately 2,000 metres in size, there are two holiday homes. The roof surfaces are well insulated on both the inside and the outside. The holiday home is cosy and quiet. All rooms have windows. A car parking space is available on the property for the holiday home. If you need parking for multiple cars or vans, there are parking spaces nearby. About 500 metres away are the S-Bahn (suburban train) station and the ferry terminal, as well as the outdoor swimming pool. There are a wide range of options for walks and excursions in the surrounding area.

Our house is a 270-year-old timber-framed house that we have lovingly renovated and remodeled. As far as possible, we have preserved or restored the old wooden floorboards or wooden framework. Our garden is designed in such a way that living beings that are native there can still feel comfortable, such as salamanders, hedgehogs, fireflies, kingfishers and wild bees. Anyone who stays in the garden for a long time can observe these many rare inhabitants in our garden.

The property is located in a quiet location in a local settlement on the southern Elbe slope. Right next to the house is the forest, where you can start your hikes. The train station is only 10 minutes away. From there you can reach Dresden in 45 minutes (every half hour) or and also to the further upper Elbe Valley. A supermarket is within walking distance in 15 minutes.

We live in Saxon Switzerland National Park on a 200-year-old farm in Bielatal. The farm is located at an altitude of 400 meters. From here you have a magnificent view of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. We lovingly converted the middle part of the old cowshed with the hayloft into the apartment. It is part of the large restored 4-sided farm.
