On our property, which is approximately 2,000 metres in size, there are two holiday homes. The roof surfaces are well insulated on both the inside and the outside. The holiday home is cosy and quiet. All rooms have windows. A car parking space is available on the property for the holiday home. If you need parking for multiple cars or vans, there are parking spaces nearby. About 500 metres away are the S-Bahn (suburban train) station and the ferry terminal, as well as the outdoor swimming pool. There are a wide range of options for walks and excursions in the surrounding area.

You will experience pure nature at our accommodation in the middle of the rocky landscape of Saxon Switzerland. The caravan is in a meadow, behind it are the sheep and chickens in the meadow, and directly behind that is the forest and the hiking trails that lead to the rocks. Please note: Please bring your own duvet covers, sheets and towels. The caravan is on the grounds of our hostel, where groups of guests also stay, so it's not a secluded location! In winter, it is super quiet, pure nature and really cosy with a wood-burning stove.

The apartment is located on the second floor and features two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Enjoy a stay at the foot of the Kohlbornstein in the tranquil village of Krippen. The painter Caspar David Friedrich sought respite here 200 years ago.

Our house is a 270-year-old timber-framed house that we have lovingly renovated and remodeled. As far as possible, we have preserved or restored the old wooden floorboards or wooden framework. Our garden is designed in such a way that living beings that are native there can still feel comfortable, such as salamanders, hedgehogs, fireflies, kingfishers and wild bees. Anyone who stays in the garden for a long time can observe these many rare inhabitants in our garden.

A comfortable and family-friendly apartment with kitchen-living room, bedroom and shower and toilet awaits you. The flat can accommodate 2 persons. In addition, there are 2 extra bed options. A travel cot for toddlers is provided. The rooms are painted with natural colours and the wooden floors are treated with natural wax and are therefore particularly suitable for allergy sufferers. Pets are allowed on request. A large balcony invites you to linger.

The living room with kitchen is equipped with antique furniture and a fireplace. In a just 20 minutes walk, you are in Rathen with the famous "Bastei".

Königstein Cottage

Small, cozy apartment with a large natural garden that you can use on the south side of the Königstein Fortress. The apartment can be used for up to 4 people. In the house there is a fireplace for the cool days and in the garden you can barbecue or simply enjoy the great starry sky at night. There are plenty of climbing and hiking opportunities in the area. Please note that there is no Wi-Fi in the cottage.

Our shepherd's wagon is located on our Kraxlerhof, in the middle of Saxon Switzerland overlooking the Ochelwände. With a lot of love, we have now completed our shepherd's wagon at the end of July 2022 for up to two people. All hiking destinations are easily accessible from our farm. We are happy to give you interesting excursion tips around the hiking region of Saxon Switzerland.
