The apartment was clean, organized and very cozy, I felt at home. I found it well equipped with what we need for a weekend. The outdoor area is undoubtedly the best environment, with plenty of shade, and there is a small waterfall right next to the property. I'll be back soon, and I highly recommend the place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tue’s house. It is a great size with good bedrooms and plenty of living space. Ideal for our family of 7. The house is well equipped with plenty to do - swimming pool, bikes, pool table, large garden etc. The local area is very quiet with a good beach and some nice local walks. The weather wasn’t great while we were there, which was unfortunate and meant we couldn’t make full use of the pool etc. but it was great on the sunny days. It could perhaps be improved with some soft covers for the sun beds and maybe another sun umbrella. All in all though we had a great stay.

I spent a glorious month at Maria Celeste’s home. It was simply the best place to reset, connect with nature & rest. I’ve never been to a more peaceful home. Freshly squeezed orange juice (from trees) every morning. Lemons for water. A natural spring to swim off hiking grime. Mountains to climb surrounding the entire home. Lizard & butterfly friends. And so so quiet. Maria Celeste picked me up & drove me to the location. Taxi services available to go to town when needed. I can not recommend staying at this home more. If you need some R’n’R, stay. You won’t regret it.

Relatively easy access (mountain roads), located in a small village 5 minutes' drive from a supermarket and cafes/pizzeria, stone house completely remodeled inside, equipped kitchen, well-decorated living room, a large balcony with a spectacular view and a very cool swimming pool with ice-cold water.

The house is very beautiful and is as advertised. The location is perfect, very close to Caminha but in a more secluded area surrounded by nature. Elisabete was very attentive and everything went very well, with a lot of flexibility on her part. I'd love to come back! It's a perfect place to rest.

The host was incredibly kind and responsive, making sure everything went smoothly during our stay. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Portugal and would love to come back again in the future!

It was an amazing experience, better than we expected! We were looking for a quiet place for a weekend and Quinta das Tendas was undoubtedly a great option, the silence of nature is what dominates the space! The conditions are impeccable, everything was as described in the listing. Mr. Luís is very friendly and helpful. An experience to repeat and to recommend, without a doubt ☺️🌿

Really beautiful home with stunning views, absolutely loved our stay here thanks for having us. Fully equipped kitchen and the space is absolutely gorgeous throughout. Brilliant outdoor area for dining and sunbathing. Garden and pool in full sunshine whenever you want to use them but a nice shaded area for dining. Only slight disappointment was the home did not have air con as advertised (it was underfloor heating) so we were quite hot at night and struggled to sleep. The heating system was adjusted and our host provided fans for each bedroom to try and help cool the house. Overall fantastic property.

The small house is a wonderful holiday destination. It is very lovingly and at the same time practically furnished. So you have everything you need. The location directly by the sea is great. It is also good that there is a fireplace, it can be uncomfortably cold in the evening. I found the conservatory very practical, it heats up during the day and you can use the heat for the house. It also serves as the connection between the house and the bathroom - very well solved. We also used the barbecue a lot, especially since there is freshly caught fish in the fish shop around the corner. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

From the absolutely extraordinary house, to the scenery that seems to come from a movie, to Mr. Manuel who left us speechless of so friendly and dear that he is. There is no better place than this to rest, and we leave thinking about the time to return. The photographs do not make juz to the place at all… Very spacious house, we were in a T1 and there was a lot of space, well decorated, very modern, with an amazing outdoor space, it is simply magical to go to the balcony and only listen to the birds. Thank you Lúcia and thank you to Mr. Manuel, who made this stay fantastic and to wish you back!

The amazing house with its beautiful surrounding felt like a little paradise for us - the best place to relax, enjoy nature but also has great options for hiking or other activities. We can highly recommend this gem plus the owners raquel und miguel are super friendly :-)

Of all the Airbnb we have stayed, Francisca's house is one of the best. The house is great with comfortable beds, and the grounds around are amazing, with beautiful views. We were there in early June, and having breakfast outside was amazing. Francisca had eggs and lettuce for us, and there were oranges to pick up from trees for breakfast. The house is located within short drives to Braga, Guimareis, and Porto, so you can take day trips there and come back to this peaceful place. Francisca is a very good host, and we liked staying there because it is a family business.

At the beginning of June 2025, we spent a week in the cosy tiny house of Clarisse & Manuel. The garden is beautiful, as is the surrounding area with village, fields, sea coast and forest. Praia de Paco is a very beautiful natural beach. Our hosts were very friendly & pleasant. The orange cake is a dream! Muito obrigado😀! We are on holiday without a car. The few connections of the local train were enough for us. Arrival and departure by taxi from Viana do Castrlo worked perfectly. Beatrice and Luzi

Thank you Tania for our amazing stay in Fafião!! We immediately felt at home and loved ever single thing. The guest book and Pin wall where all previous guests could leave their "personal message" was such a nice addition! The surroundings are beautiful (especially as seen from the jacuzzi ;)), and the local bars/restaurants/stores are run by the kindest people. Every single time we needed help, Tania responded immediately and with very detailed and useful answers! In case you are looking for a "remote" location where you can enjoy hiking during the day and relaxing at night, this really is the place for you. Once again thank you Tania for your hospitality, will definitely recommend you to anyone who wants to explore Peneda-Gerês :)

What a WONDERFUL stay at this charming farmhouse! From the moment we arrived it was perfect! The property is so beautiful with its lovely gardens, fruit trees & the view of the mountains. We spent the majority of our time, when we were not out exploring, enjoying the pool & having all our dinners outside under the covered outdoor grilling area. We took advantage of the grill & enjoying pizza (yes, there is a fabulous pizza oven!). The house was so comfortable, clean & the kitchen had everything we needed & more. Carlos & Christina are stunning hosts....so kind & friendly & gave us so many suggestions of what to do in the area...restaurants, villages, waterfalls, etc. We CAN'T WAIT to return! Obrigada for a wonderful stay! (note - if you are driving be mindful as directly accessing the property can be tight if you have a larger car)

We stayed here for a week and felt very comfortable. Diana and her husband were very friendly and not intrusive. Restaurants and supermarket within walking distance. For tours in the national park, driving short distances by car was perfect. Thank you for the cake and wine👍

We had a great three-day stay. The place was private, with a spacious bedroom, balcony, and two bathrooms. It was perfect for our dog — we could walk him off-leash in the village. We all enjoyed drinking the cool, fresh water from the mountain fountain! The lake access was a nice bonus. The host was very welcoming and gave great local recommendations. A relaxing and comfortable stay overall! :)

AMAZING! Looks better then the pictures, the view and sunset are amazing. The place is really big and has everything you need for a peaceful get a way. Cousin Susie is very responsive and helpful. I loved staying in this house, the photos don't do it justice. Cozy, super quiet space, with all kinds of dishes and appliances we need for a comfortable stay. I definitely intend to return and will recommend it to my friends! D. Belosinda was super helpful, since I was alone she came to help me check out.

A lovely and unique stay with your very own waterfall! The host is quick to respond and most helpful. We enjoyed our stay either out exploring or by the pool.
