Hello, José is a welcoming host, his accommodation is very clean and comfortable. We arrived at night and were treated to sandwiches with cake, some eggs, fruit and vegetables, and cold milk. It was nice to stay in this accommodation. 😊

Comfortable and very functional apartment located in Ponta do Sol, very well located for visiting the island. Accessible by car only Fanny was impeccable. She lives above the rented apartment. We did not test the very nice pool which was at a good temperature but in the shade at the end of the afternoon when we returned. On the other hand, breakfast in the sun facing the sea view

The stay was amazing, Jose was very cooperative and helped when we needed things to be fixed or done. He helped us check in very smoothly despite our flight being delayed. He is an amazing host, and the house is incredible.

very well equipped accommodation from the kitchen to the details, such as blankets for cool evenings, parasol for the beach, garden furniture, barbecue..... a beautiful garden with great sunset views...

Overall we had a great stay (8 nights) at Sofia's apartment. We loved the ocean view and the remote aspect, although the street that leads to it gets very busy (even more than we thought) during the day due to the nearby Anjos waterfall which, on occasion, can make parking a bit difficult (the apartment doesn't come with a parking sport so, as others mentioned, you need to park on the street). The check-in went smooth as the directions Sofia provided us were clear and easy to follow. Inside, the apartment is spacious, the 2 bathrooms were a big plus for us, and it had all the amenities we needed. The bed is very comfortable, though we switched the pillows and used the small pillows from downstairs as the main ones were a bit too big/stiff for us, after this change we slept great every night. The surroundings are silent, the only thing you hear are the ocean and the water running to the next-door banana plantation. We had a great time, Sofia was very kind, and we recommend this house!

Had a wonderful time and it was a great place to have some downtime after exploring Madeira. Calheta offers many great activities and is less busy than Funchal. Only downside was the construction next door, which apart from the noise also reduced the privacy at times when workers were on the roof of the other building. But apart from that a really nice place.

Great apartment with plenty of parking. Celina met us at check in and was friendly and incredibly helpful. The apartment was spotless and and had everything we neede. There was also a jar of madeiran biscuits and 2 small bottles of wine left for us to enjoy. The location was about 15 minutes walk to the main town and beach, with some beautiful views on the way. The apartment is right next door to a restaurant, which I would definitely recommend. The food was great and the staff were all lovely.

The accommodation was beautiful in a very quiet location with a breathtaking view. Everything was clean and furnished with love so that you can only feel comfortable from the first moment. It had everything you need, we also loved the many kitchen utensils and the grill, which we used every day. The terrace with whirlpool, lounge, loungers and table were the highlight. We spent a lot of time in the accommodation because we felt so comfortable. Calheta beach is 5 minutes by car and highly recommended. We also thought the private parking was great. Bruno and Maria are very accommodating and also asked how we are and if we need anything. The location was perfect for us, very quiet, lots of privacy and yet we can get everywhere by car. We´ve stayed for a week and had an amazing time! The flat is big, ideal for 2-4 people. It's fully equipped with everything you need and even more. Basic supplies like oil and spices were there and we even got nice welcome gifts :) There´s a garage so you don´t have to worry about parking at all. Location is also pretty good, with markets, restaurants and some levadas nearby. I can highly recommend this flat and their hosts :)

Duarte was super kind and responsive. He got us parking and met us late at night when we arrived, and he gave us plenty of local recommendations. Ribiera Brava was a great place to stay, close enough to the city of Funchal and other activities but it’s its own little town with a black sand beach and walkable restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay in Madeira. This was the perfect home base for exploring the island. This home was amazing; larger and greater than expected. We really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking and exploring. I would definitely recommend this to others and would love to stay here again!

We absolutely loved staying here. It was super clean and actually a bit bigger than it looks in the photos. The balcony had a wonderful view of the sea and hills. Everyone was really friendly and we had great dinner and drinks locally. Would absolutely recommend. We'd love to return one day

The stay at Juan’s House let us to relax in great atmosphere. The apartment is well equiped even including cofee machine. There is a view at ocean from taracce. It is very clean and very well prepared for guests.

Leonardo let us check in early. Beautiful clean environment right next to the water. He provided a clear and quick video to watch for instructions. Parking is a little complicated but your car is safe in a garage which is nice. Definitely recommend.

Serene sea side getaway with beautiful ocean views and plenty of food options nearby. If you want to explore the Western side of the island this is the perfect spot to serve as a launchpad for said adventures. Amazingly comfortable bed and stunning place to catch the sunset. Two thumbs up!

A lovely apartment: convenient, well-situated and pleasant views. Good location if you have a hire car; Funchal isn’t far at all, and there are many local shops and restaurants. Host-wise, unless you speak a little Portuguese, it can be slightly difficult; Jose is happy to call and speak for his mother. Very friendly and welcoming!!!

The apartment was perfect for our family, a great base to explore the island. Well equipped for a family though we only used for breakfast, eating out in the many local restaurants . The bakery downstairs is fabulous , serving breakfast, lunch and snacks..

We stayed for a week with 4 people in a very nice apartment. We enjoyed the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Ideal for 2 couples. We highly recommend this clean and tastefully decorated accommodation. This condo was beautiful, clean, and had an amazing view. Plenty of seating, close to a grocery store and many restaurants. The infinity pool which looked over the ocean was lovely. We would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed the individuality of the apartment and the outdoor space . It is up a hill but all good exercise ! The bus stop for the ride to Monte Palace Gardens is close by and makes a lovely day out . Carlos is welcoming and the apartment is lovely and clean .
