The word 'Jann' means 'to flow smoothly' and is used twice in the name 'JannJann'. As the name implies, we hope that the time of conversation that flows smoothly during the trip can be a good memory for everyone. I think about the colors and scents of the city every time I travel, so I decorated the point of Janjan in blue. Janjan divides the yard into two based on the flowerbed, and on the second floor, there is a balcony space that connects the outside and the inside, and through the large folding door on the balcony, you can fully feel the seasonal feeling of Gangneung and the coziness of the neighborhood. Janjan aims to live in harmony with local culture and locality. And the guests who visit here also become the subject of breathing life into the local culture. The building is connected, but it consists of a separate entrance, toilet, and self-catering facility, so you can have an independent stay (Netflix is available). Free parking is available in the yard, and there is an outdoor dining area, so you can also have a barbecue experience with the electric grill (no charcoal/bonfire due to the risk of wildfires). If you come with children, you can also experience the season with owners such as the rural grandmother and grandpa. It is not spacious, so we recommend up to 2 adults and 2 children. If you are more than 3 adults, it is narrow. We will also prepare breakfast for those who apply for a home cooked meal such as mom's rice (excluding charges). On the way to see the Gangneung Sea, enjoy the countryside and warm heart together.

The birth of 'Golmala' dates back to 1938. The wooden structure, which has endured for 86 years, had many places to touch, as some parts had collapsed. The pillars of the hanok were preserved as much as possible, and the missing parts were replaced to match the past and the present in the wooden structure. All indoor spaces have been carefully designed to visually communicate with the outdoor courtyard. The spacious bathroom space is designed to be the most cozy place in this house. We hope you experience the meeting of the past and the present during your stay at 'Golmala'. We have provided a guide to the history of 'Golmala', nearby restaurants, bars, and cafe information. It was officially opened as a Hanok experience accommodation business at the end of January 2023.
