Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath log cabin is nestled at the foot of the Ouachita Mountains & moments away from great fishing, beautiful hiking trails, Shady Lake, the Ouachita National Forest, etc. The loft features a queen size bed. One bedroom has a full size bed and the other has twin bunk beds. The sofa in the living room makes into a queen size bed, allowing for 8 guests. It is fully stocked & furnished with everything needed to enjoy a getaway at the center of many things Mother Nature has provided.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The cabin is 5 minutes from downtown Mena in a beautiful golf course community. It sits nestled in the trees with a beautiful view overlooking the secluded 14 acres. Enjoy fishing or kayaking on Prairie Creek. Trailer your SxS to the trails or ride from the cabin. It is about a 15 minute drive by SxS to either trail system from the cabin. We provide a map that shows the route we take from the cabin. Come enjoy the peace and beauty Mena offers.

The History of our Cabin started as Hoss's Country Store where we provided a general store for our community and the guests visiting our beautiful area next to the National Forest. Our home is located near Queen Wilhelmina State Park, the Talimena National Scenic Byway & the Ouachita National Forest. There are beautiful views from the deck and you can see beautiful trees out of every window. Our cozy home is only 6 miles from the town of Mena known for many attractions including the Old Home Train Depot Museum (you can occasionally hear the train go by the house) & fantastic antique shops. You will find so many unique restaurants art galleries and shopping close by.
