Leave the busy Rome city to fall in love with the slow and the beauty life of locals in Frascati, the City of Wine. Your day begins with a beautiful train ride to Frascati from Rome, during which you can admire the beauty of the countryside of Rome. We will pick you up at the Frascati Railway Station and show you all the amazing corners in town visiting it like a local. Then it will be time to reach our old wine cellar, where our family started with wine production. Sip two types of our family’s best wines pairing with local meats and cheese. Next all the necessary for making pasta will be ready, so it will be your turn to get your hands dirty. Wearing apron and mixing all the ingredients together while drinking wine you’ll turned up with your own handcrafted pasta. So it will be magical to see what happened, your pasta will be cooked with your favourite Roman Sauce and that’s it! You’ll be ready to enjoy your own pasta sipping wine and relaxing at our cellar. You won’t leave our place before not have visited our wine cave where all the wine production began. We’ll visit it together showing you our oldest wine bottles and places you would never have discovered.

Step outside of Rome and sink into the slow, everyday rhythm of the locals. Your experience begins with a beautiful train ride to Frascati from Rome. Your driver will pick you up at the Frascati train station and drive you to one of the oldest family-run wineries in Frascati. Here the winemaker will show you around the 16th century artisanal winery and into the deep wine caves which date back to the times of Ancient Rome. You’ll taste three wonderful boutique wines paired with local delicacies and the family's olive oil. Sip your wine in a gorgeous setting with amazing views of Rome in the distance. Next you'll return to the centre of Frascati where you'll meet your local guide who will show you the sites and taste local products like slow-roasted pork and Frascati jug wine. Meet local artisans and shop owners who are eager to share their stories. Feel like a local while accompanied by your guide who lives in Frascati and knows everybody in town! Finally, you’ll choose your favourite wine from the winery to accompany your lunch in a charming Osteria in the centre of Frascati. Lunch begins with local cheeses, vegetables & salumi and is followed by fresh homemade pasta with seasonal sauces. After lunch you can return to Rome at your leisure as the train returns every hour. It’s a wonderful, relaxing day to get away from the buzz of the city and taste life as a local.

In the quiet countryside near Rome, precisely in Zagarolo there is my country house, I have a lot of outdoor space and often on beautiful sunny days we will use the large table under the pergola to prepare our dishes, my kitchen with large windows will make you imagine cooking in the olive trees. You will meet Bruno, my partner and musician, and there will be a small welcome snack with Italian coffee or tea and a small dessert. Then we will prepare a complete vegetarian lunch together using many herbs and fruits from my field, but also carefully chosen products and selected by the farmers of our neighbors. We will make stuffed pasta, ravioli or other pasta with your hands, without the use of machines, then vegetarian sauces with zucchini or aubergines, artichokes or pumpkin, and even fried or braised vegetables and a tasty dessert. We will have fun tasting the wine and oil of our production but also the dishes we have prepared together sitting at the table, under the grape pergola and for me it will be a unique and special moment! Other things to note Zagarolo is served by the train from Roma Termini, and we will pick you up at Zagarolo station, I will give you the exact timetable in time. We cross the tunnel that pierces the mountain and the view of the lake overwhelms us with all its emotions and colors. On the beach we will teach you the movement of the paddling and as you enter and maneuver the kayak, we will wear the life jacket and go away immediately with your single or double kayak. Our mission is to make you fall in love with nature that mixes with the history of ancient Rome and the Popes, and we will let you retrace all the points that have surprised us. Alex and I met the lake a bit at a time as we do with an engagement, but we will immerse you in it and show you all of its beauty in one fell swoop like in a lightning strike. We will see the submerged piles, the Roman port of the Villa of Domitian, the Pope's springboard and we will be silent in the peace of nature, and in spring and summer we will also bathe in its pure waters. Other things to note If you come in summer or spring brings with you sun cream and water . During the Summer until begin of October we also dive in the lake. We have SINGLE Kayak and DOUBLE Kayak.

We'll make two different kind of pasta from scratch, only using our hands. Meanwhile, we'll prepare two different sauces, step by step, while drinking some good wine. We'll sit around my table to enjoy our hand made lunch. After eating we'll go for a walk to Villa d'Este, that is very close to my home, where we'll immerse into the history. Other things to note I remind you that the first Sunday of each month, the entrance in Villa D'Este is free!!!
