Caren’s cottage was a great place to stay. It had everything that you needed. Caren was very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful few days on Stradbroke Island and felt very comfortable and safe in Caren’s home.

Sally was a great host. She was very welcoming, helpful and always replied promptly to messages. Her home was perfect for our needs and we wouldn't hesitate to return.

We had a fantastic weekend at Vincent’s place! The house is super cute, spotlessly clean, and very well-organised. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared. My mini dachshund loved running around on the grass, and we really enjoyed the chilly evening by the fire pit under the fairy lights — such a cozy touch. The location is perfect: just a 2-minute walk to the IGA and very close to our favorite surf beaches. Vincent was incredibly friendly and responsive throughout. We’ll definitely be back soon — highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely house. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect—close to everything but still peaceful and relaxing. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

The cottage was cosy, enough space for a family of 4 including 2 teenagers each having their own room. Beautiful deck to enjoy family time together! Very close to the beach, local shop and Point Lookout cafes and The Gorge all within walking distance. Annette was very easy to communicate with, and Stradbroke Island is a beautiful Island to visit, we will be back!

Excellent house for a family with plenty of beds. Large deck, open plan with sliding doors that opens the place right out. Gerardo was very helpful and friendly allowing access to everything. We had a problem with one of the internal doors but Gerardo was very quick to respond to try fix the problem. Peaceful setting and easy access to Flinders Beach. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent house with plenty of space for lots of people. We had an extended stay there and found it very comfortable. Great location, close to the water (and a really great pie shop). Big kitchen and plenty of storage. Comfy beds and a nice yard good for the dogs. Would highly recommend. The host was very attentive and quick to respond if we ever needed anything.

We really enjoyed our time here, as a family of four with two young children it was the perfect base for us. The pool was beautiful, and the backyard greenery was spectacular. The house was gorgeous and had all the amenities needed including wifi and use of a laundry. It was within walking distance to the local shops and beach, we enjoyed exploring Wynnum and what it had to offer. Highly recommend

We stayed here as a large family group for a family wedding. The location was perfect for us. Central to family and the wedding reception etc. The house was great for five kids. Heaps of space for all of us to spread out. Even though we had horrible weather there were enough outdoor spaces that we were able to keep out of each other’s way. The kids were still in the pool twice a day at least regardless of the rain it was just a shame that we didn’t get to use the beautiful yard.

A great private place to stay. Barbara was always responsive and helpfully made adjustments when required when issues my end arised.

Lovey place, very responsive hosts. We had an unforeseeable issue that they fixed within an hour. The location is walking distance from everything you need at Amity Point. Kids loved the pool and separate cabin. While it might seem expensive, we were able to cook our meals and organise a Woolies delivery which balances costs out.

I recently stayed at Eleni‘s apartment with my elderly mother and daughter. The lady was extremely helpful and dropping by things that we needed and helping blow up the queen size air bed for my daughter as the unit has only two queen size beds that don’t separate for sleeping Into singles. As I have a disability and my mother is in firm, Eleni offered to help us out with bringing shopping in which was so sweet. We had a nice urban view, loved the outdoor balcony with all the plants and my daughter was amused by the dog across the road that kept getting out and she could help The neighbours put it back in so just like life at home. A little bit of Maintenance was required to the toilet and door handle and that was fixed quickly and I have no problem recommending this apartment to anyone. You can go from there garage straight up the lift to your apartment so accessis not a problem. It was also very convenient to Wynnum Central shops and train station. I’m sure we’ll be back again!😊

We had the most wonderful stay at Jocelyn’s home - it was the perfect spot for a relaxing family holiday at Straddie. The house is beautifully styled, incredibly clean and thoughtfully set up with everything you could possibly need. We especially loved how peaceful the location was, and having space for the whole family (including our dogs!) made it feel like a true home away from home. Jocelyn was a fantastic host - responsive, welcoming and made the whole process seamless from start to finish. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommend this stay for anyone wanting to unwind, explore and enjoy all the beauty that Straddie has to offer.

The stay at the Bayside retreat was an absolute dream! Ray and Cat were wonderful to deal with the entire time and I couldn't recommend this spot more.

Nice clean, roomy place close to where our event was. It worked out really well.

We had a great time at Pat’s retreat. The house had everything we needed for a family beach holiday with our dog. It is very well-equipped and comfortable. The location is close to everything in Point Lookout- beaches, shops, and walkable to the start of North Gorge walk. We only used the car to transport all our beach gear down but you can certainly walk to everything. For us, Straddie is not a place to go when you want good Internet access. It is a place to have good nature based quality time with the family. We love having no Wifi and being able to switch off. There was enough mobile data to check the weather and the ferry timetable. Thanks Christine for a great stay!

Beautiful Minjerribah getaway - obviously not the cheapest place available, but still good value. Walkable to Cylinder Beach (down a fairly steep hill ... and up that same hill at the end of the day!). Perfect for a large group and very good for two couples. Best equipped kitchen ever, with a refreshing "pay it forward" attitude to food and drink and supplies. We left some Aperol behind, so if you're the lucky next guests, enjoy your spritzes!
