Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Pococí

Mi estancia fue excelente. Todo estaba muy limpio, la ubicación es ideal y segura, con fácil acceso a todo. El barrio es muy tranquilo y silencioso, perfecto para descansar. La comunicación con el anfitrión fue siempre rápida y clara. Sin duda, lo recomendaría y volvería a hospedarme aquí.

If you are expecting a 5 star hotel do not go here. If you are expecting an experience, amazing food, no AC, cold showers, no iron or hair dryer and an amazing rural farm experience that you will never forget then this is the place to go. Extremely good, honest, hard working people. They feed you almost everything they grow or raise and give you the same food they eat or feed their kids. Mary Luz is an amazing person and a great cook. Plenty of other options available in the area to get a farm experience but if you also want a foodie experience then this place is it. As everyone has said rough roads but we had a good suv and got there in 20 minutes after we turned off highway 32. For some people it may take 45 minutes. Expect to get woken up with birds and roosters making a racket around 5:30 am.

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel de deux nuits en famille (avec ma femme et nos trois filles). C’est sans doute l’une de nos meilleures expériences Airbnb ! Le lieu, un peu à l’écart des circuits touristiques classiques, est une vraie pépite. On y découvre une nature magnifique : une forêt luxuriante, une belle cascade, des animaux superbes et de très bons restaurants à proximité. L’emplacement est aussi idéal pour ceux qui veulent rejoindre Tortuguero ou Cahuita facilement. Les repas et le petit déjeuner sont excellents, faits avec soin et goût. Un vrai plus ! Un immense merci à Laura, qui est une hôte extrêmement attentionnée, chaleureuse et disponible. Ce fut un vrai plaisir. Nous recommandons ce lieu les yeux fermés !

Joli bungalow, simple et propre. Très bien placé, hôte accueillant, on partage la vie locale.

Mir wurde auf dem Weg von San José mein Rucksack im Bus geklaut. Janette hat mir sehr dabei geholfen mich zurecht zu finden und hat sehr viel Verständnis gehabt, weil ich am nächsten Tag direkt wieder los musste deswegen. Ich habe sogar mein Geld zurückgekriegt und nur für die eine Nacht gezahlt. Am Abend als ich ankam haben Janette und ihre Familie mir sogar ein Abendessen gekocht. Wenn ich das nächste mal nach Tortuguero gehe, dann gerne wieder bei Janette. Dieses mal passe ich aber besser auf meinen Rucksack auf :)

Heidy's place is a perfectly located, cosy spot from which to explore Tortuguero, relax and go to the beach. Less than five minutes walk to centre of town and boat drop off and pick up place, at one end of the street and beach at the other. It is also very quiet and private, we enjoyed using the patio for quiet meals or drinks. The beach is beautiful and their was a sloth one night in a coconut tree on the beach. Heidy had arranged for us to be met when we stepped off the boat and a local guide showed us to the flat. Heidy was always super responsive and helpful whenever we had a question. Please note there is no air-conditioning or hot water in the shower, but that didn't bother us, the fan kept us cool at night. I would love to come back to Tortuguero and hope to stay at Heidy's again.

The stay at David's house was great and super spacious and has a beautiful decoration! They are two very well equipped houses. Only that decoration goes the light often. But it's something from the place of guapiles. The grill is outside the house. David was a friendly and very helpful host. And best of all, they accept pets.

El lugar es tan cual se describe, solo que ya no tienen disponible el espacio de pesca, por lo demás todo es como se ve en las fotos, el lugar es privado, estaba organizado y limpio. Él anfitrión es muy amable y atento a lo que uno necesite.

Perfect place to enjoy with your family far from the noise and pollution of the city. Road is in good condition, not asphalted but drivable. Dogs loved running all over the place, the electric car was charged with the 110 v outlet in the porch and there is a clear water river just in 20 min walking.

El lugar estaba acorde con el anuncio. Es un lugar pequeño y privado, perfecto para pasar en pareja. La piscina estaba excelente, las cataratas recomendadas son imperdibles, pues son hermosas e igualmente muy relajantes. Mi esposa y yo visitamos Figues, donde el dueño y su esposa son muy amables. César fue muy amable, comunicativo y en todo momento dispuesto para lo que pudiera hacer falta, y hacer de nuestra experiencia lo más agradable posible. La segunda noche utilizamos la fogata, y estuvo increíble. La propiedad es hermosa y todas las mañanas despertás con el sonido de los pájaros, de los cuales hay muchos y de variadas especies en la zona. La pasamos genial, gracias César!

Séjour agréable chez Jennifer dans un cadre paisible. La maison est très spacieuse et décorée avec goût.

Casa Amapola is a beautiful house in a fabulous setting, with open views over the rainforest and down to the Caribbean Sea. It is spacious and well-equipped and you could easily sit on the veranda for days on end just enjoying the view and the wildlife around you. There is a bumpy track up to the Estate and then down to the property, but this is in relatively good condition for Costa Rican gravel tracks and is driveable with 2WD. The nearest town, Siquirres, is about 10km away and has a wide range of shops and restaurants. This is a beautiful place to stay if you want a quiet and peaceful experience of Caribbean Costa Rica and when they have finished upgrading the San Jose-Limon road then the coast will be easily accessible.

Excelente lugar, gracias a vista de pájaros, llegan animales de visita, sonido del río relajante, el anfitrión super atento, tuvimos un inconveniente al quebrar un plato, y se comportó de forma genial, totalmente recomendado

La casa está ubicada en un lugar muy tranquilo y seguro, donde se pueden observar muchas aves silvestres. Nos recibieron con la casa bien equipada, todo lo necesario para cocinar, incluso con suficiente leña para usar la parrilla así como para hacer una fogata. Los dormitorios son acogedores y disponemos suficientes cobijas. El balcón es espacioso y dan ganas de quedarse ahí por horas para descansar. La propiedad cuenta con un área verde extensa lo que le da privacidad. Es un lugar ideal para disfrutar de un lugar muy tranquilo y seguro.

Staff is friendly and help full. Clean and quiet area despite main road a few meters away. Convenient location if you have a car. Can be difficult to access entrance when there is traffic because of the one lane bridge. I stayed in July so there were a lot of bugs in the porch area, sometimes they come in if the door is not closed fast enough, but it's part of the CR nature. Bug spray helped keep them at bay.

Randall is a very kind and nice Person, he is specialist in many tours, such as Waterfall etc.... The place is very nice, has a kitchen, bathroom, living room a great outdoors patio, where you can see all kind of birds, very spezial. We can highly recommend to stay here. Thanks Randall for your kindness, we will be back 😉

Me gustó el apartamento, lugar muy tranquilo, pude descansar, cerca hay restaurantes,tiendas,supermercados, Doña Xinia una señora muy calidad, atenta, tenía lo que necesitaba, muy contenta y a gusto con el lugar.
