Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Plazac

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet village. Le Centenaire restaurant was walkable and provided good food and drink. Loved the farmhouse table in the kitchen and we spent many meals there or on the deck table. Many hot air balloons over the deck in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked for in home food preparation. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well appointed.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Sissi ! Le logement est confortable et extrêmement bien équipé, on se sent comme à la maison. C'est un endroit paisible. Sissi est une hôte très accueillante et ses petites attentions nous ont ravis ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir!!

What a wonderful spot to get away! Truly beautiful views and if you like to hear the birds, this a must stay. Very quiet for sleeping. Lots of space for us to spread out in the large kitchen area and the outside covered patio. Conveniently located near Perigueux, 15 minutes to most services. Please note: There are steep stairs to the upper level and you walk through one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom to get to the third bedroom. Second bathroom on upper floor. Worked just fine for our family. Lots of lovely paths for walking. Laura and her family are lovely. Definitely recommend.

C est un très bel endroit, Paisible , tres fleuries et bien entretenu. Entourée d une campagne tres verte et belle. On s y sent de suite tres bien . Avec des propriétaires tres accueillant. Le gite est magnifique . Plusieurs activités sont mises a disposition. On peut faire des promenades sans prendre sa voiture. Et pour finir les alentours proposent de tres bon restaurants .

We hebben een heerlijke ontspannen tijd gehad. Een heerlijk huis en geweldig zwembad. Lekker rustig, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Patrick heeft ons geweldig geholpen toen we pech hadden met de auto. Echt mensen waar je op kunt bouwen. We komen heel graag terug.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable chez Mia. Le logement était très propre et fidèle à la description. Le cadre est apaisant et permet une totale déconnexion. Mia est une hôte très réactive. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Such an idyllic stay! The gîte is perfectly located amidst peaceful surroundings, you really feel like you’re in the middle of the French countryside. The garden is enormous, and was a lovely area for our little girl to run around. The pool area is very clean and looks new, located within the grounds , it’s a little walk from the gite but this is great for feeling of privacy. The gite itself is well equipped, clean, spacious and remains cool even when it’s very warm outside. A home away from home. It’s very easy to park outside the front. The local village is very picturesque with restaurants, boulangerie, mini supermarket. It’s a quick drive down, but was too far for us to walk, especially in the heat. Sarah was a fantastic host, was very easy to contact and responsive. Such a wonderful introduction to the Dordogne region for my family and I100% would recommend. Merci beaucoup pour tout, Sarah. lieu magique l'univers d'Harry Potter est bien représenté notre fille était très contente . La Taverne du sorcier ne serait rien sans une parfaite gardienne du temple sabrina remplit à merveille ce rôle fans d'Harry Potter pressez vous !

Un logement parfait situé dans la vieille ville pour faire de belles balades avec un glacier à deux pas que nous avons apprécié. Adrien est très attentionné et disponible pour ses voyageurs Encore merci pour le petit cadeau pour nous même mais aussi pour notre chat. Le logement est très calme et paisible. Tout équipé pour passer un séjour parfait nous avons également profité du jardin. Nous recommandons le logement les yeux fermés et nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the apartment and its terraced garden. The view from the terrace is a pleasant one overlooking rooftops and towards a hill. It was nice to meet Ralf on arrival who showed us around, explained how the apartment worked and had time to have a chat - so much nicer than arriving to a lockbox. This is a new listing so I think almost everything is brand new - which was a plus. The beds were firm and to our liking. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cooking utensils - which is great as I like to cook. There is a nice dining table and chairs on the terrace as well as other outdoor furniture. The apartment is really close to the historic centre of Sarlat - probably a five minute walk. Also close by is a bakery and it is only a few minutes walk to the supermarket if you don’t want to drive to the bigger supermarkets on the outskirts of the town. The property has a locked gated entry with parking just to the side of the apartment.

l'appartement est magnifique, le bâtiment de style médiéval m'a enchanté, proche de tout, de merveilleux restaurants aux alentours, la cathédrale en face est tout simplement magnifique. Je le recommande vraiment et je reviendrai un jour

We just spent a few days at this amazing apartment in La Roque-Gageac. The place is in a building several hundreds of years old, renovated with lots of taste, beautiful and modern bathrooms, a lovely courtyard with tables and chairs to relax in, comfortable beds. Adrien and Marion are a wonderful couple that welcomed us warmly. Our children loved their gentle dog, Indi - we loved the restaurant next door. The perfect place for a glass of wine and a taste of their remarkable food! Right in the center of la Roque-Gageac, loads of things to do such as hikes, castle visits, going to markets, cooking class, biking and canoeing (what we couldn’t do due to poor weather conditions). I highly recommend staying here! All the best to Adrien and Marion!

We spent a wonderfully restful and restorative week staying at Le Lapin Sur le Toit. The house is very old and characterful, and full of quirks. Extremely comfortable, both inside and outside, whatever the weather is doing; we had mostly very hot weather and were glad of the thick stone walls keeping the house nice and cool. The kitchen is well-equipped. We made use of local markets (the one in Rouffignac on Sunday morning is great for essentials, and there is a bigger one in St Cyprien) The small 8 à 8 Carrefour in Rouffignac has all the basics, and bigger supermarkets at Le Bugue and Montingac. The garden is beautiful and very private. We are not bird experts by any means, but saw and heard woodpeckers, cuckoos and hoopoes. We saw lizards, deer, bats and walked down to the field at the bottom of the garden to see the horses. Cat also came to inspect us on evening patrol. Overall, a beautiful, comfortable house in a peaceful, tranquil setting.

We loved our stay so much and look forward to returning. The house and extensive grounds are quite beautiful and very peaceful. Perfect in every way. Diana and her husband were perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome.

If you are looking for a quiet but spacious property with sense of freedom this property is perfect. Its large living space offers separation even if travelling in larger groups. It is very secluded so own transport is a must. That said, a short drive into Sarlat is a must. A huge selection of restaurants, bars and local markets and the most picturesque town I think I have ever seen.

Logement très propre très fonctionnel et qui correspond totalement à la description donnée. logement confortable décoré avec sobriété et goût. Terrasse très agréable étant donné l'excellente météo dont nous avons profité. bien équipé en ustensile de cuisine. ;Cave à disposition très pratique pour nous qui avions des VTT.

Quel charme en arrivant à Marcillac-Saint-Quentin ! L'allée révèle un parc arboré et soigné avec une grande piscine partagée. Un accueil exceptionnel de la part de Mariette et Jacques ! Mariette discrète, attentionnée, d'une grande douceur et générosité a le sens de l'accueil. La maison en pierre apparente, dispose d'un jardin privatif avec table, transats et BBQ. - Au RDC, la fraîcheur est la bienvenue : Cuisine équipée, Salon Louis Philippe, mobilier rénové. Majestueuse cheminée ouverte, prête à être allumée. Encore une belle attention. - À l'étage 2 chambres spacieuses, soignées elles aussi. Literie et linge de qualité. Plaisir dès le matin d'ouvrir les fenêtres, d'écouter le chant des oiseaux et d'observer l'écureuil sauter d'arbre en arbre. La maison située à 10 min de Sarlat, non loin de Lascaux, est parfaite pour se reconnecter à la nature. C'est un havre de paix avec une belle énergie. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! Je recommande vivement.

Serge’s place is amazing. We spent a lovely 10 days there in May and it was exactly what we were looking for. It’s walking distance into the village which has everything you need, and the place itself is clean, well appointed and in a beautiful setting with its own lake. Serge was so responsive and kind to us during the stay too - he went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!

Nous n’avons pas eu la chance de rencontrer Éric en personne, mais la communication a été excellente : fluide, claire, et il s’est montré très disponible et à l’écoute. La maison est parfaitement équipée, avec de beaux volumes intérieurs, confortables et décorés avec goût. L’extérieur est tout aussi agréable, avec une grande piscine et une jolie terrasse ombragée près de la cuisine, idéale pour des déjeuners en plein air.
