If you are searching for a rental home in this area stop and book Casa Prana through Rent Nosara. We have stayed in many AirBNBs over the years and this one was hands down the best. The house is absolutely beautiful and could be featured in Architectural Digest. The location is quiet, peaceful, nestled right in the jungle yet walkable to everything in Nosara. The best coffee shop, grocery store, and bakery are just a few steps away which was a great way to start each morning. The property has more than anyone would need in terms of towels, kitchen amenities, space, views, luxury, and safety. We traveled with a family of 5 and the house was incredibly comfortable with everyone having their own space, bed, bathroom, and even balcony. The communication with Rent Nosara was top notch before booking, after booking, and during our stay. This was one of the most memorable trips for our family and a big part of that was staying at Casa Prana and working with Rent Nosara.

My family of four had a wonderful time at Casa Vidrio. Nicole was a fabulous host - super responsive and she even offered us a late check out to accommodate our evening flight home. The house is gorgeous and modern. We woke up to the sound of howler monkeys frolicking in the trees outside our window and looked forward to our daily visit from the local coatie who would swing by to cool off in the pool for a few minutes before moving along. Despite being an open floor plan we had no issues with insects save the occasional ants and dragonflies all to be expected. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and the felt right at home. We loved staying in Playa Pelada and had the easiest time getting to and from Playa Guiones each day in our golf cart. I highly recommend staying at Casa Vidria if you're looking for a peaceful retreat that's still close enough to enjoy all the fun of Nosara.

We stayed in three different Airbnbs while in Costa Rica for two weeks and this spot was hands down our favorite. It's nestled in a neighborhood just outside of town and is a lovely secluded getaway while still being near everything you'd like. We had an SUV as our rental, I do advise having a rental car or a UTV while you are here to get around. Blair has some fantastic recommendations for where to watch the sunset, dining, and things to do. He clearly knows the area like the back of his hand and wants to ensure that your stay is as peaceful and enjoyable as possible. Would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a trip to this area. Nosara is such a magical place and you will truly be blown away by the beauty of it all!

We stayed here for a week, everyone in my party thoroughly enjoyed our stay. As said by many already, the view is incredible, very peaceful and relaxing property. The house was very clean, beds comfortable, and all of the outdoor furniture was great as well. Our stay was towards the end of dry season so it was very hot so the pool was great to lounge in and cool off every day. The drive up the hill to the house was daunting at first but after the first go it was really nothing, we didn't have issues with a standard SUV rental. We saw lots of howler monkeys, iguanas, lizards and the daily overhead parakeet fly-by around dinner time. Jonathan and Kevin were very helpful onsite, great guys, we appreciated all their help and overall friendliness. Great property, close to Samara and a hard to beat view, would highly recommend this rental. Thanks for everything.

Perfect spot for our holiday in Nosara! Our host was pleasant and proactive on sharing house details, recommendations on restaurants/things to do and provided easy instructions for entering the home. The home is beautiful with a pool/atrium area that our son enjoyed daily! Great location to local dinner spots and beach! Definitely would recommend visiting!

We spent a week in a jungle paradise within walking distance to the beach. The house was a dream! We felt remote and peaceful. We could hear the ocean and view the spectacular sunset and stars from our top balcony. The monkeys entertained us frequently from the nearby trees. Not far is the town of Nosara with plenty of shops and wonderful restaurants. We surfed, practiced yoga at the Bodhi Tree, and spent much quality time together with our children and grandchild. I highly recommend this home for a piece of tranquility in Costa Rica! Pura Vida extraordinaire!

My wife and I LOVED this place! The house is so well designed and the outdoor space is beautiful. The place felt very secluded and private which we loved and the beach access was close enough that you could walk down the beach right into town. Olivia was a great host and her list of recommendations for restaurants and things to do was amazing. We even got to see a lot of wildlife when we were relaxing by the pool. Kitchen was fully equip and the outdoor cooking space is amazing. We will definitely be staying here next time we are in Nosara!

We booked this casita last minute at the end of our trip and it was so much more than we were expecting. The space is beautiful, clean, spacious. We didn't get to use the pool because of rain, but the pool area and view were stunning! We spent a lot of time bird(and monkey) watching and taking in the view in the mornings. Hiking trails around were really nice too! Krista and Guido were soo helpful, generous, and kind! We wished we had more time at Sal Vida to enjoy the area more and if in the area again - will definitely be booking here again!

We had a great stay here at Emmanuel's place. It is a very peaceful and quite neighborhood. The place looks just like the pictures and has all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. I went with my GF and my dog and we definitely will go back. Emmanuel is a great host and he gave us lots of recommendations and was always responsive. Access is for every type of car ( we dont have a 4x4 and didn't found any problem). Don't hesitate to book.

Susan’s place is awesome. Amazing location. The Beach Break restaurant across the street has great food. Super walkable area with so many great places to eat and get drinks. Check out the Seekret (their name) gelato place behind Olivia’s pizza…and their pizza is awesome. Incredible surfing just a short walk to the beach. The beds, AC, kitchen were all great. Our kids loved the pool. We’re definitely coming back!

We had a great time, everything was perfect.We loved the pool and the casita was perfect for my 25 years old daughter. The view was incredible. There was construction near by but it wasn’t loud. It didn’t affect our vacation. I loved the kitchen, it was really well equipped! We highly recommend La Caza de Paz and we would come back for sure!

A very beautiful house that has privacy in the jungle canopy. It is esthetically pleasing and all of the amenities worked well and were lovely to use. No TV or microwave, but all other amenities are there. WiFi worked great. Only went out super quick a couple times. One quick power outage. To be expected in this country and area. Didn’t bother us a bit. I agree the road below can be loud during busy times but we so enjoyed the pool and deck for several hours a day and evening. Howler monkeys sleep in the trees on the property and are so fun to watch. You must have a 4x4 SUV to get through rough roads high grades and loose gravel. The drive is steep and difficult to get up without the proper SUV. The management was extremely helpful and responsive with any issues or questions we had. The roads coming in at dark at night. They had someone to help us find the place right when we were arriving!! We loved this place and will stay again

Had a wonderful week long stay at Tranquila Vista al Mar. the property manager, George, was especially helpful in advising us on the local area and attending to our requests. Great location, very much off the beaten path, had no issues getting there with a SUV.

Mijal was a fantastic host and very responsive to any questions we had. The house and outdoors were fantastic to unwind and spend a great week in Nosara. Couldn’t ask for a better location!

We and our kids (13, 10, 6) took a last minute trip for Spring Break. The house and pool are incredible. The view is amazing. The house is comfortable, private, safe, and well stocked. The host and her team (shout out to Johanna, Elena, and Wagner) were incredible helpful and gracious. They helped to arrange activities, and on of the best meals we had our whole trip was prepared by Wagner and his wife. We recommend and hope to be back soon!

This place is AMAZING! We came here on our honeymoon and were blown away by the beautiful surroundings and the attentiveness of the hosts. The breakfast provided was so nice, and felt like a feast! Even more enjoyable sitting and eating the meal in their outdoor common area, you truly feel like you’re just sitting on a mountain. It was lovely getting to know the hosts. They provided us with fun recommendations on things to do. We drove down off the mountain one of the days and took surf lessons in Samara! One evening we drove about 15 minutes down the road to eat dinner at Restaurante Teosinte (highly recommend checking that out while you’re in the area). Be sure to pay attention to their specific instructions on how to get there, those were very helpful. Especially having a 4x4 is very necessary. The hosts have created a fantastic stay in the mountains of Costa Rica and I’m so grateful they did and offer it available to be enjoyed by others! 10,000x recommend this place!

We absolutely loved our stay at Heather’s home in Nosara. So much so that all we can talk about is returning on a yearly basis. The home was beautiful, the pool was perfect for our toddlers, the rooms were spotless and sound proof (the grandparents slept soundly and did not hear our kiddos wake up early morning) and every single little detail was well thought out. Also, the surroundings are stunning. We spent a couple of morning on the top patio deck watching monkeys cross in front of the house or taking in the sunrise and sunset. It was magical. We also enjoyed watching the coatis and raccoons sneak around the property. Tiffany and Heather also gave the absolute best recommendations. The sunset at La Luna and the unforgettable experience at Coyol were the perfect dinner experiences. We can’t say enough about Heathers home. Thank you both so much for an unforgettable stay. Hopefully we’ll be back soon. Pura vida!

We came down with family to celebrate a mini wedding ceremony, and Laughing Falcon was just what we needed! The house was perfectly located near the farmers market, shops, restaurants (el jaguar is great!) and just a short walk to the beach for sunset and to play in the waves. House was beautiful and spacious, great for making dinner at home and having space for everyone. The architecture and design was gorgeous with high vaulted ceilings and lots of glass. Felt like we were in the rainforest. The outside space is perfect, lots of variety to sit and relax and soak up the warmth, especially the swing and the upstairs patio. The outdoor showers in each en suite were perfect, and I loved being able to take a soaking bath outside in the master!! Only downside is the pool/hot tub doesn’t have a heater installed yet, would have loved to sit in the hot tub on an evening!

We loved loved loved staying at Casa Coyol! The forest was extraordinary and we were serenaded to sleep by the cicadas and howler monkeys. The bird songs were beautiful (recommend using the app Merlin to help identify types). Rodolphe was an exceptional host - helping us get to and from the treehouse as our hired SUV failed to get up even the first hill (*see below). The lodge was kitted out with high quality fittings and fixtures (we particularly loved the pans) but is a predominantly outdoor space so you feel very much a part of the rhythms of nature. Hope to come back - so very special. (* nb we hired a Hyundai Tucson or similar and were given a SinoTruk VGV U70, which was unable to get up the unsurfaced hills to the lodge at all. In retrospect would have hired a Suzuki Jimny – for similar price – instead! Hope this is helpful)

We had the most amazing stay in this beautiful retreat! The location is simply amazing, the views of the valley were breathtaking and we loved sitting on the balcony looking out at the ocean view! We enjoyed the drive into Samara each day, and there were 2 amazing beaches just a few minutes from the house! The howler monkeys were everyone's highlight as they came to visit the surrounding trees a few times. The hosts were amazing and the property manager and staff were super friendly and helpful. We simply can't say enough about this place, and we're already looking at the calendar to see when we can return for another stay!
