Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Playa Flamingo

What a find! While we were only there for a night, we absolutely loved it here. Clean, convenient and beautiful.

This was our second time staying at this beautiful home and we actually changed our travel dates based on the times it was available...it's that nice. The view is probably the best in Playas del Coco and the property is super-private. The second bedroom is secluded at the end of the house with it's own entrances so people staying with you will have their own privacy. The house is walking distance to town and the beach but because it is at the top of a hill, the climb could be a challenge for some people. But it is a cheap taxi ride from the beach so really not an issue. Jeannyna is great with communication regarding instructions and house policy and she responds quickly if you have any issues. There is not a bad thing that I can say about this property and we will stay hear again and again.

Great time for my family of five staying in both of the tiny houses on Diego's property. The howler monkeys visited us again and my kids enjoyed the hot tub. Playa Potrero is walkable to this private secure location and has everything we need for a simple beach vacation in a undiscovered beach in Costa Rica's dry forest. The location is great for Liberia airport and we were able to visit Tamarindo and Monteverde Cloud Forest in addition to enjoying the quiet Playa Potrero.

5 Stars – Best Airbnb I’ve Stayed In! This place was absolutely perfect! The location is excellent—just 50 yards from the beach, which made it incredibly convenient to enjoy the ocean every day. The home itself was spotless, with a beautiful pool and a well-equipped, modern kitchen. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Vidal was amazing—super helpful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Hands down, this is the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beach getaway!

Unbelievable place to stay. The space, the views, the pool, all amazing. You will be confronted with critters and will definitely need 4 wheel drive but outside of that there is no other considerations. This is the nicest place I've ever been

Our family of four had a fantastic time at Villa la Pacifica. Everything was as advertised and communication with Andrew and Brenda was a breeze. We had a small issue with the lockbox upon arrival, but Andrew responded immediately and got it resolved. Views are stunning from both the interior and exterior from the moment you walk in. We loved the indoor/outdoor feel of the home with the wall of windows, although mosquitoes were out in force, so we had to keep doors shut. Despite how hot and humid it is in Costa Rica, the air conditioning in the main living area, as well as all bedrooms, was a life saver. We all slept comfortably every night between the climate control, mattresses, and linens. Lots of great food options in town, including Father Rooster's right at the bottom of the hill and directly on Playa Ocotal. Our favorites were Cafe Corazon for breakfast and lunch and Verde Salvia for dinner. Thank you for the warm hospitality. Pura Vida!

Appartement parfait avec vue imprenable. Notre hôte, David, a été très disponible, à l'écoute et très agréable. Bien situé pour visiter les différentes plages et villages du secteur. Nous recommandons de louer un 4x4 pour éviter le stress des routes du CR et la montée au logement. Pas de souci pour opter pour le chemin proposé par Google de l'aéroport, beaucoup plus court. Nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise d'utiliser la piscine ou autre facilité de la propriété. L'appartement est confortable et très propre. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement.

Le logement était parfait ! Tout correspondait à la description ! La piscine est super et les hôtes sont très accueillants et nous ont bien conseillés pour les bonnes adresses dans le coin ! Je recommande et reviendrai avec grand plaisir ! Merci!

From the moment we booked Vanessa was very responsive & knowledgeable. She was able to provide all the insight we needed to make our trip a memorable one. She went out of her way to make sure she was there when we checked in which was really nice & caring. She checked in with us via chat during our stay to make sure everything was going smooth. The view & villa were spectacular and all we needed as a couple to be able to rest & relax. If your a big beach person def recommend checking out Playa Cochal, a short commute from the villa. La estadía donde Julliam, fue muy satisfactoria , empezando por la amabilidad y la comunicación con ella, nos dio mucha información de los lugares que podíamos visitar tanto en el día como en las actividades de la noche. El apartamento cuenta con todas las comodidades necesarias para pasar unos días, con seguridad tanto para los huéspedes como para tu vehículo, ambiente muy familiar. La ubicación es excelente, puedes desplazarte al centro de Tamarindo a pie sin ningún problema y la playa está súper cerca a 400mts, hay seguridad comunitaria lo cual da confianza para ello. Volvería a hospedarme sin duda alguna otra vez.

Clean, bright, airy apartment right on Potrero beach. Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, and a very well-equipped, spacious kitchen. 5-10 minute walk—via the beach if we wanted—to several excellent restaurants and a serviceable grocery store. Loved watching pelicans dive for fish from the balcony and the stunning sunsets.

Our stay was amazing! The property is beautiful, we even saw monkeys in the tree from our balcony. We loved how close it was to town but also secluded enough so we could enjoy nature. Would love to stay again! Keep in mind the parking spots are at the bottom of a steep driveway. Not far by any means but it is a steep walk up.

Прекрасная квартира в доме, окруженном деревьями, на которых бывают обезьяны, попугаи, т.е. можно даже не ходить в национальные парки. Место очень тихое и приватное. В квартире имеется всё необходимое и соответствует описанию и фотографиям. Хозяева очень внимательные и отзывчивые. Гости могут пользоваться стиральной машиной и сушилкой. Гостям предоставляются пляжные коврики, пляжные кресла и зонты от дождя и прогулок под солнцем. До пляжа 5 минут ходьбы. Для гостей с большим багажом недостатком будет не асфальтированная дорога в горку к дому, по которой трудно подниматься с тяжелым багажом. Мы готовы в будущем останавлиться у Katie & Happy и рекомендуем всем.

My girlfriend and I spent a few days at Casita Coco and we cannot say enough good about the accommodation and the hosts. The check in was very easy along with the directions provided being very clear for finding the place. There are many great beaches nearby within a short drive or walking distance in a lot of cases. The restaurant selection is also wonderful and there is a market nearby to get something to cook if you wanted to spend a nice evening in together. Lastly we were very impressed with not only the cleanliness and decor, the scenery and amenities also really stood out. We will absolutely be back as everything about Casita Coco was a positive experience for us. Thank you Claire and Christophe :)

The pictures truly reflect reality of this unit and 360 Splendor. We went at the start of June and had a wonderful time. The unit is on the 1st floor, 20 steps away from the infinity pool with an amazing view of Flamingo Beach. The balcony of the unit also has water view (of the bay behind). There is a nice gym, 2 hot tubs, and an open breakfast area, all on the top floor where you get the full 360 view which is amazing during a sunny morning. Breakfast costs $15 and you need to let them know the evening before. The unit itself is on the small side but sufficient for a family of 3 or 4 and has everything that you need to cook a meal. Getting to 360 Splendor may be a little challenging on foot if you have any physical issues. It is a fairly steep 0.5mi hill. But they have a few golf carts available to take you up and down. I am about to write 2 other 1* and 2* AirBnb reviews following our vacation, so I'm not writing reviews for the sake of it. But we really enjoyed this place!

Amazing Family Vacation at Playa Flamingo! Our stay at Cody and Anna’s wonderful Airbnb in Playa Flamingo was truly unforgettable. The property is perfect for families—spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. My three teens loved the nearby beache and all the fun activities, while I appreciated the peaceful surroundings and beautiful ocean. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially with his awesome guidebook. They made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this awesome place for anyone looking for a relaxing, fun and family-friendly getaway in Costa Rica. We can't wait to return!

We love going to Reserva Conchal and Daphne's place had everything we wanted, from plenty of bedrooms, to a great location and view overlooking the golf course. Once inside the reserve, we had access to both The Westin and The W and all the amenities they had to offer. Great place to spend a weekend.

We loved our stay here! Diana’s home is lovely and welcoming. We enjoyed having all necessary items-including beach gear-and enjoyed the pool after our outings. Diana’s recommendations were fantastic and led us to several memorable sunsets and delicious meals. We would love to return. It’s a wonderful home base for exploring the north coast.

Great location, our only wish is that the property would have an elevator. Everything about this condo was exactly as listed, great private beach to anyone that finds this place.

Loved staying at Katie & Happy’s place! It was a little walk from downtown Tamarindo, but we loved making the walk and noticed a lot of people utilized the scooters all around or had rented golf carts, which we would have opted for if we brought our kids. They provided beach towels and chairs that we used often and a filtered water pitcher in the fridge so that saved us on purchasing bottled water, which was so helpful. There was a little market close by and several amazing restaurants. The pizza place across the street was the best pizza we’ve ever had and I went to the nearby snack shack for açaí bowls and coffee almost daily. Langosta was a beautiful area to stay in with close private beach access. We were also able to walk the beach to Tamarindo at low tide. We loved this place and location and would definitely stay here again! Thanks Katie & Happy!

We absolutely LOVED this place! Very spacious for our family of 4 (two teenagers who each had their own room). The concierge service was super helpful and friendly any time we reached out to them. We booked an ATV excursion through them and there were several other great options. The place was beautifully decorated along with all the necessities you would need in the kitchen. We stopped at the Price Smart(like a Costco) after we got our rental car for groceries, so glad we did that! There is a small grocery store in Brasilito for smaller items as well. The Beach Club was a wonderful perk to have access to other pools, a gym, and the beach. Definitely plan on coming back to this place!

Awesome place to stay! Beautiful view! A short walk to the beach and some local shops - it is a steep hill, but there are stairs. Staff and other guests were extremely helpful and friendly. There was more than enough room for our family of four. When we needed assistance with an air conditioner, Floribeth was quick to respond, and had a repair person there in no time - problem fixed immediately. We were not planning on returning to Costa Rica, but after our stay, we fell in love with the area and people, and can't wait to return. Floribeth gave us precise directions, found it right away. You will not want to leave here. Thank you Floribeth!!
