Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Playa Flamingo

Wow!!!! Great stay at AirBnb in Octocal Beach. We visited Costa Rica for our daughter’s nuptials and indeed our stay at this AirBnb was an unforgettable experience. It was an upscale home away from home. The service was excellent! The atmosphere soothing yet vibrant, calm, and relaxing. The rooms were clean, spacious with stunning views. The amenities were top notch and every needed for a home away from home was readily available in the home. I highly recommend this AirBnb and my family I, look forward to the next opportunity to visit. Many thanks to our amazing host Alina.

This is our 3rd month in a row staying at Las Catalinas. Each month we have chosen a different Airbnb in the area. We felt right at home in location. Everything in the home was comfortable and just as advertised in the listing. We tried out the Beach Club that was included in the rental, but decided that we would spend time elsewhere due to all the children who were using the Beach Club as a playground. We did enjoy walking around the homes close to the Beach Club! That was a new experience during this visit. In January and February we were not aware that we could walk around this area. We would definitely recommend this location.

Potrero is a great location, far from the over touristic area of Tamarindo. Christina's place is great, it's pratical and very safe. It was very quiet when we went. The terrasse gives on the pool. We got to use the beach umbrella and mask and Tuba. strongly recommend

Loved this condo! While we originally thought it was right on the beach, we thoroughly enjoyed how peaceful it ended up being a little bit away. We enjoyed the beach club right next to the property (small community pool, corn hole boards, ping pong, and sun loungers) and had it all to ourselves for the whole afternoon - which made it feel like our own personal oasis. We used the shuttle service a few times to go down to the beach and it worked seamlessly - it would have been ~15 minute walk. My son loved using the gym and said it was a great one! The condo had a washer and actual dryer which made it so nice to get our clothes washed before our 2nd half of trip! The back patio was amazing with comfortable furniture, we enjoyed coffee each morning and even BBQ’d one night on the grill. Host was very responsive! Would highly recommend this place!

Beach front in Playa Potrero! One of four ground level units in condo. The pool and grass lawn are wonderful. The long black sand beach has baseball size and smaller rocks in the surf, but there aren’t any large rock structures in the area the waves crash. At high tide only sand is in the crashing waves. The unit has quality furniture and cookware. The grill is cleaned daily as well as general cleaning and maintenance of the common grounds. Eating out in the area is very pricey. The condo has the kitchen and outdoor gas grill to stop at the Walmart or Costco in Liberia for groceries and use the nearby San Martin Butcher for wonderful family meals!

El lugar es muy tranquilo y tiene lo necesario para pasarla súper bien en familias pequeñas, la cocina se gana un 💯!! Súper completa!!!! Y Saioa demasiado gentil, accesible y muy atenta!!! Se gana un 1000!!!! Ella nos trató de maravilla y es una excelente persona!!!! Súper recomendada!!!!

We were delighted with the location, amenities, and service by Eden Properties - especially Chiara who was always available for questions, and recommendations for activities, tours, and nearby beaches. She made our vacation so enjoyable!

Ich und meine Freundin haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft von Andrea geliebt! Wir haben uns direkt wohl und sehr willkommen gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist etwas ganz besonderes und wir haben den Blick in die Natur sowie die Ruhe total genossen. Ein großes Highlight waren die Brüllaffen in der Umgebung, die uns als morgendlichen Wecker dienten und sehr nah zu beobachten waren🐒 Andrea selbst war sehr gastfreundlich, sie hat uns viele Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben und wir hatten schöne Gespräche mit ihr. Auch ihren Hund Chico haben wir direkt ins Herz geschlossen 🥰 Die Bauweise des Containerhauses ist einzigartig und die Räume alle sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Bett war bequem und die Küche groß genug, um lecker zu kochen. Wichtig zu wissen ist, dass die Unterkunft etwas abgelegener ist. Ein 4x4 Geländewagen ist definitiv zu empfehlen. Sollten wir mal wieder nach Costa Rica kommen, werden wir die Unterkunft von Andrea definitiv nochmal buchen. Vielen Dank & pura vida 🌴🌺

Cassie was hands down the best Airbnb host we've had! She was the most thoughtful and nicest host, sharing a wealth of information in the welcome letter prior to our arrival. In the letter, her and her husband thought of everything to include to make it such a welcome and comfortable stay! Their home is so beautiful and we are so thankful for them to share it with us. What stood out was Cassie's quick responses and going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay, even before we asked! For example, Cassie knew that we were traveling with our toddler and asked if there was anything else she could provide for our child. She arranged for a highchair to be delivered which was so helpful! She was so accommodating and the best host in the most beautiful home.

This property was spectacular!!!We loved the location and the views were so beautiful. The infinity pool was a highlight. And the house itself was so clean and modern. The water filter inside the refrigerator was so useful!! Well equipped and the beach chairs and boogie boards were a nice touch! Perfect for 3 couples with plenty of room.

Pictures don’t do this place justice. It is so nice! Very secluded and peaceful yet only 5 minutes from town with the golf cart (big hills to get there so you need some type of transportation!). Communication with Marco and Todd was above and beyond, they made sure we had everything we needed. We hired the private chef for one night and it was amazing! Really loved our stay ♥️

Casa Serendipity was pure magic for our family. As a wellness practitioner and mama of two little ones, I’ve stayed in many places—but this was truly a sanctuary. Mariela is the most incredible host—like a 24/7 concierge angel. From airport pick-up, car rental, grocery tips, to curated local gems—she thought of everything. The home is stunning, spacious, and incredibly private, yet perfectly located to easily explore the best beaches, restaurants, and adventures. We woke to birdsong, made meals in the outdoor kitchen, lounged by the pool, and even picked fresh mangoes. It was peaceful, secure, and deeply nourishing. Every detail supported ease and connection. After full days exploring, it felt like coming home to serenity. I would stay here every time—we’re already dreaming of our return. Mariela, thank you for creating this heart-centered haven. Our whole family had the best vacation. You’ve set the bar for hospitality, and we are forever grateful. See you soon. Pura Vida!

El lugar es muy lindo, el hotel está dentro de un condominio por lo que nos sentimos siempre seguros. La casa está bien equipada y es hermosa, la piscina es súper divertida para los niños. Hay mucho espacio para las mascotas. Los anfitriones estuvieron pendientes de contestarnos. Sin dudas volveremos.

Great location and great views. House was very well maintained and Angelica was exceptionally timely fixing any issues (all very minor). We stayed two weeks and the cleaners came after week one to do the house and pool which was wonderful.

Fantastic beach compound. Christelle's house is the very northernmost on Brasilita where its quiet. House is directly across the road (as close as you can get) from the beach. This is a new house with all the conveniences you would expect on a higher end listing. The outdoor is exactly as pictured and makes it easy to eat outdoors and lounge at the pool. Good security with locking gates and an electrical fence on the wall and an alarm system for the house. Just a great spot if you want to get on and off the beach fast and not be surrounded by lots of people yet be very close to some of the best restaurants in Guanacaste.

Our group of two families (4 adults, 4 kids) couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while in Costa Rica. The design, decor and space were all top notch (we felt like we living in a magazine) and the service from the management company was above and beyond. Kids and adults all loved the space and nearby beach club amenities. Highly recommend golf carts for transportation around the resort and to nearby restaurants. We felt super safe and spoiled the whole time. Thanks for a great stay and for taking such good care of us!

El lugar está muy bien ubicado, a 12 minutos de playa avellanas y unos 30 de Tamarindo. Los hosts son increíbles y Gabriel, particularmente, es súper abierto a buscar que el cliente esté cómodo…por ejemplo, luego del check out nosotros fuimos a la playa. Como nos llenamos de arena, le consultamos a él si nos permitía usar unas duchas que habían en la zona del parqueo del Airbnb. Gabriel muy amablemente nos permitió usarla, e inclusive nos dejó usar los baños del lugar antes de irnos hacia San José de nuevo.

Great lodging here. The treehouse is charming and full of character. The surroundings are filled with nature and beautiful animals (including the separate and well-attended doggie rescue). This was a very pleasant retreat and I would return there if I was back in that side of Guanacaste. Also, the beaches are close from a driving perspective.
