Beachfront holiday rental in Playa del Alicate

Words are simply not enough to describe what an amazing holiday we had at Javier’s place! As a host he is fantastic, very responsive, friendly and helpful! The house was very clean, spacious (we were 2 adults and 2 children aged 9 and 4.5), and had a well equipped kitchen. We felt right at home from the moment we stepped in, the flat had everything you might need including beach towels and toys. It is in an impeccably kept and peaceful gated community, surrounded by amazing plants and palm trees, and has direct access to a deep pool (but is also very close to a more kid-friendly pool). In 2 minutes you can also walk to the beach and restaurants, without having to cross a road. Our car was parked safely in a very spacious underground garage. Marbella is about a 15-20min drive, and there are several supermarkets close to the gated community. Hands down the best airbnb experience we have had; we will most certainly visit again! Rafael’s place was a 10/10 location and vibe! We went for a girls holiday and had access to everything we needed including restaurants, shops, atm machines and more! We highly recommend staying here as we loved every moment of our trip.

We have just returned from a week with our family in Miriam's apartment. It was without doubt the best AirBnB that we have stayed at! Perfect living arrangements for 6 adults and 2 young children. Plenty of linen, towels, beach equipment, kitchen essentials and spotlessly clean. The apartment is nestled between the mountains and a beautiful sandy beach, with 2 great swimming pools and the spacious veranda giving fabulous views of all. Communication with Miriam was exceptional along with her very warm welcome and attention throughout the week, a lovely lady.

Cher and Jose are wonderful hosts and their property is lovely. Spent a week there, loved it and will certainly be going back in the future. Didn’t see a cloud in the sky and the pool was just perfect to dip in and out of to stay cool. Walked to the Marina every night for food and now starting our diets ready for our next trip! 🤣 Thanks again Cher - lovely seeing you again and see you again soon. 😎

Had a wonderful stay at Calmo Marbella! The host was highly responsive, helpful, and clear. The space was beautiful, a true home away from home. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend!

Very spacious apartment, right next to the beach. It is equipped with everything you need, even with beach chairs and a parasol. Each room has its own AC, the table is fantastic.

My family and I had a fantastic stay here. The place was spacious and clean. We loved the location as well, next to the pool and two minute walk to the beach! I highly recommend to anyone and we hope to be back very soon!

Saras apartment was nice with beautiful view of the sea from the balcony. We could hear the waves on the shore from the balconyt , which we appreciated very much. Short walk to the shore. Safe surroundings. Beautiful apartment complexes with a lot of vegetation, nice shrubs and trees. Abot 10 minutes by feet to community center with lot of shops. Apartment and views are beautiful and exactly as per the pictures. We had to contact Karen a couple of times and she was really helpful and responsive. As you arrive, the apartment building is on a really busy road and we weren’t able to park so then had to circle back round and do (what felt at the time with kids and suitcases) a long walk from the car via the busy road to get to the apartment. But soon forgotten once inside. You have the most beautiful views over the sea and beach and such a lovely apartment with everything you need. We spent everyday on the beach and it felt really safe for our family. The boardwalk along the coast is lovely for a stroll, though for evenings we preferred taking the 20min drive to Mijas Pueblo. It’s a beautiful, sleepy mountain town and we found the food way better. Great stay and base with the best views for a relaxing beach holiday.

We had an amazing stay at Koke’s Costabella apartment and can’t recommend it highly enough. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach with beautiful views and plenty of great restaurants nearby. The apartment itself was spotless, stylishly decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen and a cozy living area. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making check-in smooth and stress-free. Whether you’re looking to relax by the beach or explore Marbella, this is the perfect home base. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The property is part of a beautifully maintained complex with two swimming pools, surrounded by lush gardens and vibrant flowers. From the pool area, you can walk directly to the beach – an exceptional feature, especially for families with young children. The location is ideal: peaceful and family-friendly, yet only a 10-minute drive from Marbella’s city center. It also serves as a convenient base for exploring other attractions in the region. The hosts were extremely welcoming and responsive. From the moment we arrived, we felt well taken care of, and any request was addressed promptly and professionally. In summary, this is a fantastic place to stay – both relaxing and practical. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to others seeking a high-quality holiday experience on the coast.

This is our second stay in the Beachhouse. We fell in love with the place on our first visit and had to come back. It’s so peaceful here, the house is really well equipped with anything you might need- even a hand pump to blow up the kids pool toys. We all slept so well, loved the pool, this year we made use of the promenade for long walks. A perfect spot to relax and be able to pop in and out of the beautiful town of estepona.

I stayed for 5 days but I would have stayed more! The place is WOOOWW! And the view was even more WOOOW! The apartment was fully equipments with LITERALLY everything you need from towels to dishwasher pods, literally whatever you thought you could use it was there! first aid kit, cleaning supplies, tissues etc. I can’t express how amazing the stay was and how Pilar was very responsive and helpful. Very very much highly recommended!!! My only thing is that the tv should face the coach not the desk.

We had such an excellent stay. Three of us had booked this apartment to attend a wedding and it couldn't have been better. The apartment itself is spacious and beautifully decorated with modern furnishings whilst maintaining an authentic feel. It was spotlessly clean. The location couldn't have been better. Situated in the heart of the beautiful Old Town, the shops, restaurants and Church are on the doorstep. Clear instructions were given prior to arrival which helped a great deal in terms of finding and accessing the building. We were greeted personally, handed the key and shown the apartment. Communication was great too, before, during and post stay. The rooftop terrace was an ideal spot to relax, super comfortable and well appointed. Can't recommend this place enough so thank you to James, Natascha and Amelia for a brilliant experience! We hope to be back soon!
