Alexander is very friendly and a fantastic host. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely visit again. The home was perfect for our family of four. It was very clean and close to the local public beach and within walking distance to Santa Fe, which is a great place to visit as well. The restaurant, Maria’s, is just a short walk away and very delicious.

Another great stay at Agua Dulce. Beautiful villa and views. The staff was very attentive as always.

Really nice, modern, clean and spacious house with a lot of amenities. Daisy was a good host, gave us clear directions for the check in and check out and gave us a tour of the villa upon arrival. Would definitely recommend.

This property was perfect for our stay. Location was great. Right off the main strip, close to beach entrance, restaurants and supermarket. Once we arrived, the host was at the gate waiting to welcome us in. Showed our party around the property and gave us keys. I’m not sure if I read the description wrong or just didn’t fully understand it. The property is set up as six individual rooms; hotel style. Each room was spacious with fully cleaned stocked bathrooms. There was an on property house woman everyday (who was amazing). While we were gone, each room was cleaned (spotless). She even washed our clothes, everyday. The chef was an extra positive. He was well rounded and could make anything. Each day he asked what we wanted for the menu, what time the meal should be served and how many people was expected. Never disappoint. Every meal was perfect with enough to go around. He would provide everything and we would pay after the meal was done. This is now my 1st option anytime I visit.

A Perfect Getaway – Highly Recommend! I had the pleasure of staying at Sosua Villa, hosted by Alex, and it was truly amazing! The villa is even more stunning than the photos, with thoughtful decor, a great layout, and top-notch amenities. Whether for a large or small group, it’s perfectly designed for a fantastic stay. The views are breathtaking—mountains in the distance from the balcony and rooftop. The hospitality was outstanding! Chef Pablo and Chef Manuel prepared delicious meals with love, and we enjoyed fresh coconuts daily. Carolina, the house manager, ensured we had everything we needed. Our driver, Hector, was prompt and knowledgeable, making travel effortless. The villa is safe, well-located, and near a beautiful beach resort. Alex was super communicative and gave great recommendations. Be sure to visit cabarete to enjoy drinks on the beach and music. This village is one of the greatest places I've stayed. Secure, private, quiet, and pleasant, extremely clean, with a nice parking area and a very polite host. The workers make you feel at home. Highly recommended!

This place was way more than what I wished It would be . It’s so raw , totally surrounded by nature , perfect for me because I needed a real get away from everything, the urban noises, somewhere I could feel like in my village back home in Africa. If you’re a sounds of nature lover , you’re gonna enjoy listening to trees rubbing on each other when it gets windy , and the birds singing. Your stay will feel a lot like a camping retreat . If you mind the insects, not having a tv , being far from stores and restaurants; you’re probably gonna run away .

I had a great experience with this booking. Merika, my host, was very helpful and very responsive when needed. Bathroom water was great temperature and Air Conditioning worked well. Quiet area and full of relaxing. Thank you for the hospitality.

From when I booked months prior to checking in and checking out Bianca’s suggestions on the area and her attention to detail of my interests is what made my vacation for my wife and I. I cannot wait until I have a chance to return to her Loft. If you were to book a stay here I would suggest mapping a transportation plan as it was pricey (at least for me) to get around outside of the community and hit Sosua, Puerta Plata or Cabarete. Drivers Maximo and Anthony were also a highlight of ours because of their knowledge of the area and their humor. Would definitely recommend a stay here for sure!

Donny was an exceptional host and all of his staff as well. We felt truly taken care of and the house and outdoor area was fantastic. Highly recommend staying here. Donny even ordered a cake for one of the guests in our group. So cool!

A really nice stay in sosua. It’s in a quiet neighborhood so you don’t hear motos zooming around. A quick walk to supermercado de la Cruz and an atm and liquor store. A nice place, out of the way for a quiet and relaxing stay. The hot water works great, everything is new and the clean.

Jose and Nathaniel were the perfect host! I wish every host was as attentive as they were! Excellent location! Excellent hot water! Excellent freezing AC, lots of space, excellent internet services, just excellent all around. Also gated community for safe keeping! I wish I could keep this gem all to myself but they both deserve the recognition! Thank you Jose and Nathaniel for an excellent stay! See you again soon!

Everything was as described. The Host was very responsive. The House and community was more than we expected! Great community. Santa Fe is within community. We enjoyed our stay and we will be back soon

Lloyd from DomTri and the Barefoot Villa team was outstanding! Not only was he a great host, he was also very responsive and provided valuable info that made the check in process very smooth. He also provided very helpful information on things to do and places to go in the Puerto Plata/Sosua/Cabarete areas which made our time there much more enjoyable.
