Cottage holiday rentals in Pizarra

Peaceful stay for a week. Beautiful elevated location with panoramic views. Rocabella restaurant at the bottom of the track was great if you dont feel like venturing out far, with a varied menu from light bites to main dishes with burgers, steaks and fish.. My advice would would be to grab some basic groceries from a supermarket prior to going up to the house i.e coffee, bread eggs , drinks etc. I travelled with my ederly mother and the accomodation was suitable for our needs as she is unable to manage steps. There is one twin room downstairs with a bathroom and walk in shower which is next to the kitchen , lounge and outside patio so easy access for her with limited mobility. its would not be suitable for a wheelchair however. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with doors opening onto a patio with table and chairs, perfect for your morning coffee to relish the sun rise and sunsets, and also affording privacy if travelling with others in your group. I throughly enjoyed my stay. 😊

Communication with the hostess was excellent even before arrival. The welcome was warm - the hostess and her partner were extremely helpful and just particularly lovely people. I felt at home there. At the same time, the small house in which you are accommodated with the beautiful garden offers total privacy. The orange trees were allowed to be "plundered" - fresh orange juice every morning. The view of the mountains is magnificent. A wonderful place to chill and be with yourself. In the evening, I heard the bells of the goats from the nearby hills. In addition, some dogs that could almost howl like wolves. I thought it was nice. You can also hear airplanes - but I soon didn't notice that anymore, because I felt so comfortable and the location is also fantastic for that. The place is authentic - you're really in Spain. I hope I can go back there soon. Absolute recommendation.

We had a really great time in Madre Tierra. Rafa welcomed us and was really helpful for any request we had. The house is comfy, calm and with a great view, close to nice mountain paths. Totally recommended. Thanks again Rafa!

We had a fantastic weekend in Monte Naturivo! The accommodation is surrounded by beautiful nature and is the perfect place to relax. Everything was absolutely clean and very well maintained – you can tell how much love is put into every detail here. We were particularly enthusiastic about the great pool, the relaxing hammam and the beautiful yoga room – ideal for switching off and feeling good. The hostess was incredibly friendly and warm, we felt welcome from the first moment. Monte Naturivo is truly a special place that we can highly recommend to everyone.

We had a great 4 days in the house. We liked it once more there than we imagined from the photos. Very equipped and with different areas of ambience. We really liked it:)

We stayed here for 4 weeks (family of 3) and it was the most wonderful holiday! So peaceful and quiet, well equipped house and a lovely pool. The beds are really comfortable and the aircon in the bedrooms was brilliant. Cómpeta is a beautiful town and worth a visit. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

This cottage with swimming pool (and jacuzzi!) on top of the mountain in Coín is really a paradise. Ideal for a relaxing family vacation. The road to it is spicy, but once you are, this is the perfect base for trips to Malaga, Ronda, Marbella, Granada,...

Beautiful villa, pool fabulous. Rooms lovely, outside space is great. Antinio was great. Really helpfull. Overall we had a great time , the only drawback are the roads from the village to the villa.

We had a wonderful week at casa Fuentezuelas. The house and it’s surroundings were even more beautiful than the pictures showed. Breathtaking view and very peaceful. The house was very clean and charming and had everything we needed.

Such an amazing stay! We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. If you are looking for a modern, luxury home, this may not be for you. For us, it was absolutely perfect! The house was clean and everything is provided that is needed. The location is ideal: quietly situated. You are at ease, private. The swimming pool is a great asset: pure enjoyment. If I can say 1 point that was perhaps a little less, it is that the toilet and shower are located outside the cottage. (if you have to go to the toilet at night or something) but in itself not disturbing for us. When we had questions, we also received an immediate answer via message. We are very satisfied with our stay and would not hesitate to come back :-)

The stay at Angel's accommodation "Las Lavaderas" was excellent. The quiet and private atmosphere allowed us to recover well. A perfect place to relax. The house is equipped with everything you need. Communication with Angel worked perfectly, friendly and always prompt.

Country house in rural setting, cozy and intimate. Ideal for children, pets and very peaceful. The place is located in the Sierra de las Nieves in the countryside. It's a 1900 country house, renovated and with current comforts. The host (Belen), was very close to solving a problem for us. Very kind and attentive. If you are looking to be quiet and disconnect, I recommend it.

It is a fantastic country house with all the comforts of a normal house. The children had a great time in the pool and everything is very well equipped. He also let us leave in the afternoon to take advantage of the day, which we greatly appreciate. We'll be back for sure!

Comfortable house in a beautiful spot very private and spotlessly clean. Good base for exploring and walking. Was the wrong time of year for us to use the pool but the grounds and outside space were really nice too. Only thing would be to have information in the house about how everything worked, what there was to do in the area where to put the rubbish, house rules etc. Overall a great stay.

A little slice of heaven. It truly was perfection, from the moment we booked to the moment we left, we felt it was a home away from home. Bruno and Gert were the perfect hosts, we stayed in the studio near the pool, and it was fully equipped with everything we could need or want. It truly was a fantastic experience staying here and we will 100% be back. I couldn’t finish this review without a special mention to the 4 doggies, who made this stay extra special for us and made us want to spend more time in the villa to spend time with the doggies. Odile and Jeepy are the best hosts, they made us feel at home while staying here and were really helpful throughout our trip. Really friendly and sweet couple. The cottage is comfortable and has a nice terrace with a view of the mountains. It's well placed for exploring the surrounding countryside, and less than half an hour from Marbella. We'd love to come back for a longer stay some day.

A really great stay! Perfect location to relax away from the noise but a quick drive to Marbella if needed. The place has all the amenities you need and the private pool is great. We would definitely stay here again.

Just arrived back from a wonderful week at Steph and Terry's home. The weather was amazing so we took full advantage of the beautiful pool in the most fabulous location. The property is set amongst the mountains and whilst remote it's not too far from the main road for visiting the surrounding area. For myself and my partner it ticked all the boxes as we love nature, watching the wildlife and the quiet of the mountains where we could relax away from our busy lives. Steph and Terry were always there to answer any questions and give recommendations. The Al In Carhire company recommended by them was extremely easy and value for money. Thank you to Steph and Terry for making our holiday special.

We had a fantastic vacation at Antonia’s house in Viñuela. The view and location exceeded our expectations — even better than in the photos. The house is spacious and comfortably accommodates six people. The outdoor area is generous, with a lovely veranda, outdoor kitchen and a marvelous view over valley and hills reaching into the ocean. The property is easy to access, fully fenced, and gated for added security. The ocean and hiking areas are within short range. All amenities are exactly as described. Communication with Antonio was excellent — he is a friendly and attentive host. We would highly recommend this house; it offers great value for the price.

We had a great stay at Nicole and Ruud's Casita. Such a peaceful place with beautiful surroundings. Everything was squeaky clean and the hosts made sure that we had everything we need. I totally recommend!
