Fall in the cabin is so picturesque with the wood burning stone fireplace and gorgeous fall foliage views from every window. There are gorgeous lake views from most rooms!

Wrapped in windows, the cabin offers panoramic lake views and frequent wildlife sightings. Enjoy outstanding kayaking with easy access from your private boathouse. IMPORTANT: our amazing housekeeper is available Monday and Friday only. So, we can offer Mon-Fri, Fri-Mon, Mon-Mon or Fri-Fri stays. The Speculator Guest House is fully renovated to offer an elevated and thoughtful stay. Guests love the outdoor sauna, Sunday to Wednesday private chef brunch or dinner, espresso maker, fully stocked kitchen, and everything you need for a campfire under the string lights. Walk to the grocery store, restaurants, shops, or the sandy beach on Lake Pleasant (.6 miles). Each guest receives individualized local recommendations. We live in the area year round and love to share our favorite places.

From Fall hikes, Winter snowmobiling & skiing, Spring and Summer kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and biking. This area will keep you busy! Or, just relax on our backyard patio and enjoy a cozy fire. This region of the Adirondack's has so much to offer. We have plenty of parking and lake access is just a short drive away. Enjoy what we have come to love!

For those less adventurous just cozy up around the backyard fire pit in an adirondack chair. Short drive to multiple lakes, ski mountains, hiking trails, quaint village shops, and restaurants.
