Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Piana Calzata

This was by far the nicest airbnb! Floriana is a class act and has thought of everything -providing answers in advance, recommendations, etc.The house is lovely and decorated by an experienced host. It is just beautiful. Initially finding the property was a little challenging- but after the first time, all was good. Easy drive to Cefalu. A MUST DO—-she arranged for Chef Francesca to cook for us at the house beach front! Just terrific. I will recommend this house and Floriana 1000%! She also has other houses and boutique hotels in Palermo.

We had a sore stay with Francesco & family. We felt very comfortable and were surprised with fresh fruits, jam and more. The whole family is very friendly but also reserved if you want privacy. The apartment is very nice with incredible views from the balcony. The property is freely accessible and very peaceful and full of chickens and cats. The access is a bit adventurous and without a car you would not be mobile. We worked from the property and the wifi worked great, even outside! We highly recommend the place to anyone looking for a quiet beautiful place!

A charming retreate getway from busy city life. If I were a writer I would most likely create a master peace whilst staying at Villa Sperling. The accommodation is a great getaway with a magnificent view from the terrace of Santa Flavia and Sicily and is only 17 kilometres east of the capital Palermo. Note you will need a car to get you around. The garden is wonderful idyllic and peacfull with fresh fruits, Oranges, Lemons and Grapefruit. Overall we had a wonderful stay whilst cooking Sicilian food speciality’s with accompanying wines from the region. If I were to add a negative connotation it would be that the coffee stove top moka coffee pot was to small. The kitchen could benafit from a coffee machine, apart from this the flat is very well equipped and has all the creature comforts of home.

We stayed for four weeks in march. We had a great time, we fell in love with the place and their lovely dog Fiocco who is very sweet, also to children. Therèse and Viviana were very kind and helpful when we had questions. The house is situated in the middle of a large lemon grove and a daily stroll to the sea (it's a pebble beach) is greatly recommended. The nearby village San Stefano di Camastra is great for an ice cream and a coffee. We expected more hikes to be near, as it is located right next to Nebrodi but finding and reaching hotspots (hiking or otherwise) was ultimately harder than expected. We encountered this across Sicily though and is not related to the house itself. Our children loved to roam around the premises and find their own little adventures. All in all, we had a great relaxed stay and felt in tune with rural Sicily.

What a beautiful month we just had at Casa dei 20 Frutti. We dreaded leaving and miss it already. We loved every single thing about our stay. The place, incredible. What a view. So comfortable, a great home away from home. The location, perfectly central. We went on a different adventure every single day. There are just so many places to see and just about all are easily doable as day trips. Our hosts, exceptional. Sophie and Alberto are just the nicest people, so generous with their time, with all the beautiful fruits on their property, and they gave us so many great tips on places to visit. An absolute wealth of information. We will absolutely be back. We just can’t say enough great things about this incredible place.

This is not a home rental, it is a complete experience. First rate hospitality, caring and attentive. And the unbelievable breakfast they prepared was to die for. Do not pass this listing by. Rent it now. Rent it for more days than you think you will want to be there, because you will regret leaving.

The house was new and very clean and tidy and very well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and all the rooms had mosquito netting. Tizana and her husband were there to greet us which was really great. the description was correct the only minus was the beach. We would certainly stay here again.

An amazing getaway! A pristine, rustic, and cozy sicilian home nestled in a citrus and olive orchard with a 200 meter walk to the beach. Quiet, except for the birds and the occasional car. Full kitchen to cook what you learned at at a local cooking class and a great family run restaruant an few minutes walk away. Close to main roads for adventures out and a train station about a kilometer away if you prefer. The host was friendly and helpful with recomendations and understanding Sicily if it is your first time. He spoke English very well and a variety of other languages. This was a great location to live and breathe Sicillian culture and to have a quiet place to rest. Overall an amazing countryside stay that was still close to Cefalu and Palermo. Highly recommended!

Francesco and his wife were adorable, very welcoming and discreet. The accommodation is located in a perfect location on the beautiful Mondello beach. Everything is accessible on foot or by bus, with Palermo 15 minutes away. Francesco and his wife gave us a guided tour of the city. We warmly recommend this listing!

A beautiful apartment on the 3rd floor, especially the room with the balcony is so lovely when it’s filled with sunshine - very enjoyable. Also, David’s parents were very helpful and friendly.

We loved our stay in Palermo. Giovanni’s home was centrally located and we could walk everywhere. His list of tips and treats led us to some great restaurants. It was a perfect holiday:))

thank you for a good stay. The apartment has everything you need for relaxation. The only wish, if possible, to install air conditioning in the bedroom too, one is a little insufficient at large temperatures. Otherwise a very comfortable place to stay. Worth the money! If you want to return to the island, I will come back to you without any questions! Thank you

Maria's apartment couldn't be better. Just a stone's throw from Via Maqueda with its restaurants and entertainment. Everything is within easy walking distance. And Maria is super responsive. The apartment is a little dark but I guess it's better to keep cool in summer and thanks to the terrace you can enjoy the light. Attention however: - for sensitive knees there are a few stairs to climb, sometimes difficult after crawling all day but that's what makes it possible to have such a nice terrace - for those who are sensitive to noise, the fact of being close to the animation necessarily brings noise also into the apartment, quiè balls can be useful Anyway, we had a lovely week and highly recommend it.

Freddy is a great host. Super response and flexible. He gave us clear instructions to check in. Both flats are connecting and the terraces are great to chill have a breakfast and a coffee. For sure we’ll come back for a next trip to Palermo. Highly recommended.

We visited Giovanni's over Christmas, and it was a beautiful, cozy place to spend the holiday with family. We explored the region during the day and had a fire every night in the beautifully renovated farmhouse. Giovanni was a very helpful and welcoming host, even letting the airline deliver my parents' lost luggage to his apartment in Palermo. And perhaps best of all is Lily, the incredibly charming and sweet farm dog who greeted us every morning!

Breathtaking views!! This place is truly a gem! Was exactly what we were looking for, a little off the beaten path with great views and some peace and quiet. Host was VERY responsive and gave great recommendations and even received some mail we needed for work as we had a month long stay. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

A charming, comfortable cabin high up in the Madonie, with a great view from its beautiful deck. Ideal place to get away from it all, to enjoy the peace and the silence of the beautiful Madonie mountains.

The Volpacchiotto is a beautiful retreat in the heart of the Madonie Park, a short walk from the Battaglia floor, a strategic point for outdoor activities throughout the year. The retreat, easily accessible on foot from the street, welcomed us with an authentic atmosphere, perfect for spending a few days in tranquility. The host, immediately active, provided clear and punctual directions. Definitely recommended!
