Bird Forest has three old teak houses in Thai Lanna style. Each house is independent. This one is called Ship. (Maximum 2 people) (No breakfast) (No airport pick-up) (Please note that this is a wooden house and is not soundproof) Located in a small alley in the heart of Chiang Mai Ancient City. I have incorporated my collection of antique furniture into every corner of the space. The house will suit those who like to experience and cherish the traditional Thai way of life. (Picky people should beware.) This is an old house. Unlike big city apartments, it's not a hotel. Again, please don't choose here if you're a nit picker) 10 minutes walk to the main attractions, restaurants, cafes and night markets of the ancient city. (For example, 10 minutes walk to Wat Chedi Luang, 10 minutes walk to Saturday Night Market, 10 minutes walk to Sunday Night Market. 18 min walk to Tha Phae Gate. 10 minutes drive to Chiang Mai University, 7 minutes drive to Nimman Road) The house has a bedroom, a small living room, a semi-open lounge area, and a private bathroom. In addition to your private space, there is another house in the front yard with antique furniture in the living room where you can have tea, read, and relax, as well as a small courtyard filled with plants.

Our property is located in a quiet courtyard in the southeast of Chiang Mai Old City, featuring four independent teakwood houses about 90 years old. As these are traditional wooden structures, sound insulation is limited Each house has a private bathroom and toilet. Bedrooms are on the second floor and accessible by stairs. Please note there is no baby cot, According to Thai law, all guests must present a valid passport upon check-in for registration. If you cannot comply, please do not book.

Closed to both weekend market. 5 minutes walk for fresh grocery, super mk and street food, and surrounded with a lot of local amenities, from thai massage center, great bars and restaurants, Thai nightlife, 7/11, city tour agent, and a lot of famous temples.

You can walk around and enjoy the calm neighborhood & visit the local market with many delicious foods. The house is private for you. There are two single beds, bathroom with warm shower, microwave, kettle & some utensils for simple meals. There is no washing machine, but you can use laundromats at the market nearby. It is modified from traditional Lanna rice barn,improved to have better light,higher ceiling and comfortable facilities, fusions Japanese architecture too. The interior decor mainly are antique furniture and some art pieces. Guests use the whole house, pool and garden. All in the few key words: wooden,earthy,grounding, space.
