It is basically a room in an apartment building complex. For many Thai people, the conditions, like in this home, are common and normal. The other apartments also seem to be permanently rented to Thai people. So you live like a Thai, between Thai people. If you don't want to, you don't get much from your neighbors. For the price of a reasonable place to stay, and the host was always friendly, helpful, and proactive with hints. For someone who doesn't need a luxury hotel, but only a place to sleep for a few weeks, this is the place to be. You can definitely do that.

I had really good experiences here. Staffs are kind and friendly 🥰 I came here alone, but I never felt lonely. I’m sure I will come and stay here again. The home is in an amazing location tucked peacefully away from the traffic in a beautiful neighborhood...but yet walking distance to an immense amount street food and the biggest night market I will ever see... If you want to come to khon Kaen it's the perfect place!!!

I stayed 7 days and extended 30 more. Poh, was very helpful in my stay and extended stay. The place is unique in the architecture and design of decorations furniture etc. The location is perfect for traveler. The hospitality and generosity of this family was unbelievable. I loved the pre loved hello Kitty themed bedroom and bathroom. This is a homestay and not for those who expect pristine surfaces and clean edges and all the mod cons. In saying that I had access to wifi, a hot shower and a separate living area. The family are very involved in local public health and community well being, there are some lovely sights to visit. They have 4 cute French Bulldogs. I enjoyed a couple of home cooked meals with organic produce from the beautiful and productive home gardens. Gay, the daughter, took me out to see sights at night and was able to share insights into this city and culture. She had also spent time in Australia and the States- which meant that she understood the perceived quirks of foreign visitors and could translate for me. She is the embodiment of Hello Kitty!! I loved this experience and recommend it highly to those who don’t want to do the typical apartment/ hotel thing.
