Hidden Bay is aptly named as it is nestled in a water lily-filled bay with a beautiful west-facing island view. It feels private without being completely secluded. The cabin itself is small & manageable and the cathedral ceiling, open floor plan, & numerous windows give it a light, open feel. My family originally stayed at Hidden Bay as renters and we liked it so much we bought it & kept the name! Welcome to The Lincoln Log! You'll love the log details, large deck, stamped patio, quiet river mornings, & firepit nights! Shallow river is home to bass, crawfish, frogs, & turtles w/eagle sightings! Cabin is a loft design with a queen bed, & two twins (not a lot of privacy). Close to ATV trails with Country store & bar/food about 1 mile. Near Lake Holcombe, & surrounding areas. Base price is for 2 guests. The Eagle's nest is an adjacent unit (sleeps 6). Inquire w/host to book both units.

Plenty of parking for vehicles and trailers. Whether you want to fish, kayak, hit the trails or just relax, this cabin is perfectly located with something for everyone.

Take a stroll on the level boardwalk to the lake or sit and enjoy nature on the deck or patio. Access ATV/UTV trails from the driveway and the snowmobile trail runs right along the shoreline.

Our property offers a Peaceful Getaway in a Resort Setting on a Quiet Lake. "Great Location", "Amazing Views", "Clean", "Cozy", "Perfect", "Peaceful", "Comfortable", and "Relaxing" are what we repeatedly hear from our guests after their stay. The Heart of Vilas County Bike Trails and numerous Hiking trails are just minutes away. The #5 Snowmobile/ATV trail runs across the front of the property along Hwy 51 and we are surrounded by many area lakes and the Northern Highland State Forest.

Our North Woods Getaway

Modern home with all the amenities including a dishwasher and washer/dryer. Very comfortable and relaxing. With Satellite TV and WIFI. Set on 2 acres in the Flambeau Forest with a screen room to enjoy the peace and quite of the outdoors. ATV/UTV and snowmobile trail is 1/8 of a mile from the front door. Also a 1/4 mile from the Flambeau ski trail. The North Fork of the Flambeau river is one mile away with great canoeing and Kayaking. There are 2 Walleye lakes at the end of the road.

Keep your boat at our pier during your stay and enjoy the chain of lakes, stroll around town, or simply sit on the deck and watch the boats go by. We made great efforts to restore the character of our cottage by salvaging and refinishing much or the original woodwork, while modernizing some features for a comfortable experience! We think you'll love this island gem!
