Excellent location. Maria attended us very kindly and the room was clean and it was what the description said. The view is absolutely amazing. Just keep in mind that it has no parking within the place, you have to look for parking in the nearby streets

The room was perfect. Easy to get to from the airport. We had the Lakeview private room. It was conveniently located right next to many great restaurants and bars. Clean, comfortable and the view was relaxing after a long two days in Tikal. Oliver offers many activities to do and is a 5 star host all around. Wish we could've stayed longe and this will be the place we stay anytime we are in Flores! Till next time!

This was my second stay at Alice Guesthouse and I will never stay anywhere else in El Remate. Natalie and the rest of the caretakers and staff are all incredibly accommodating and willing to coordinate anything you may want to do in the area. We went on a stellar horseback ride that she arranged the day before, having the horses come right to the guesthouse at whatever time we wanted. The food and bar is also wonderful with plenty of selections and high quality. Truly a hidden paradise :)

Our stay with Oliver at his hotel was absolutely delightful. Felt really hospitable and easy with such an amazing sunset view from our room's patio each night. Thanks Oliver!

It was an amazing place.

i think the place is perfect for those of us looking to visit archaeological and natural sites. It is very close to Tikal and Yaxha, 5 minutes from El Remate and 20 minutes from the Island of Flores. In general, it should be considered as an excellent place to rest for its strategic location. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, good cleanliness with a clean pool. We even slept and dawn under the howl of the howling monkeys, a plus of the place. We recommend it at 100, it was a nice stay that we hope to repeat. Don René is very attentive.

Wayak hotel is an amazing place, not only for how beautiful the location is and how well-kept every area is, but especially for how warm the Manager and staff are. We can't stop recommending their food, please try the shrimp ceviche, the alfredo pasta and the cruceño fish. 100% would stay there again! The Wayak Hotel is a stunning place, an oasis in the middle of the village of Las Cruces. The place is extremely beautiful, however what will make us return is the treatment of the manager and the rest of the staff, who made us have an extra pleasant stay. The restaurant was pleasantly surprised and recommend trying the shrimp ceviche, shrimp alfredo pasta, and fine grass crossing. They will have an amazing time and we look forward to returning!

The place was exactly as advertised! someone who is unfamiliar with the area (as we were) might have a bit of difficulty finding the place but Gustavo is very responsive and helpful. The water is not hot in the shower but we already anticipated that! Overall, a satisfactory stay that fit our needs.

This was a great deal. Food was great, beds were good. The pillows were a little stiff, but overall what a good place.

Great place for the price with a private little terrace overlooking the lake. Hot water was a plus. A few ants in the bed but that’s Guatemala glad it wasn’t a scorpion. I will say the bed was a bit uncomfy and the sheets made me sweat whenever I sleep with polyester. Good for the price.

Good place to stay looked like the pictures. Some of the interior was a little dusty and the sink was a little wonky but nothing new in Guatemalan stays as far ad I’ve experienced.
