Holiday rentals with a patio in Person County

This is a great place to stay in Durham for 2 couples, or a small family. The backyard backs right up to the Duke Forest, which has many trails that are great for people and dogs, and the view of the forest is gorgeous out the back windows. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely, and I had no concerns about safety at all. At the same time, it is only a 10-minute drive to downtown Durham with its many restaurants, cafes and bars, and also very close to the university (Duke). The location couldn't be better! The house is unassuming from the outside, but inside it is very nice -- really clean and uncluttered. The kitchen had everything we needed, even for baking a Thanksgiving apple crisp! All the appliances worked well, including the washer and dryer, and the heating system was great. I really had no complaints at all about this house or about Jason as a host, and would have stayed here again at Christmas if it had been available! Thank you for hosting us!

Great stay

Katie's place is clean, well-organized, well-appointed, spacious and comfortable. It is also in a great location. Great ambiance, nice outdoor spaces, plenty of everything you need for your stay, from towels to dishes to cozy blankets, snacks, etc. Also, good lighting indoors and out. I would love to stay at Katie's place again!

Tyler and Callan's Oasis was the perfect little home away from home for us while we visited Durham. Their place is super cozy and in a beautiful neighborhood. They are fantastic hosts and we'd love to stay here again.

Great location with excellent access to Hyco Lake. The place was tidy and well kept. We also enjoyed the peaceful seclusion. Will definitely stay here again. Dana was excellent at communication and even checked in after our first night to insure we had everything we needed.

William and Bryan’s place was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway! The amenities truly make this spot worth it. They really thought of everything! The house was perfectly clean and cozy, both William and Bryan are very communicative and nice, and the area is just gorgeous. We would love to come back when it’s warmer to fully enjoy the lake! Highly recommend!!

We had an awesome time at Marks Place. This is our first time to visit Hyco lake and can’t wait to return. This house is absolutely stunning and so comfortable. Most of our family never left the house for the entire week. The lake and pool was beautiful. We could not believe how peaceful the location is and the surrounding areas. We were the only people in our cove for the entire week. We can’t wait to rent this place again, thanks for sharing your home with us

Our family loved our stay! By far one of our favorite places we have visited. Clean, clutter free and plenty of things to do for all! Kids absolutely loved the pool, fishing and kayaking in the lake and searching for all the little frogs! It is one of those places that you can visit with the family and never have to leave to do anything else! Highly recommend! We will be returning next year! Thanks for hosting us!

Karen had clear instructions for check in. The house was nice clean and roomy. It is also right next to downtown roxboro wich has some nice places to eat and drink. I was there on a business trip and will definitely be returning the next time I head that way. Thank you.

Devante’s condo was great for our group of 3. Basket of snacks on counter in kitchen. The fridge was stocked with water, creamer, and condiments. Spices and such in cabinets, along with plenty of cookware for meals. Kitchen over all does need some updating, especially the stove, but it’s all functional. Food Lion is conveniently nearby for groceries needs. Bedrooms are spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Extra towels and toiletries in hall linen closet. Very quiet in the evenings. Any questions were answered with a quick response. Overall enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Perfect location to walk to the children’s museum. It was very clean and had comfortable beds.

We stayed in unit 203 after having booked a different unit. While on our way Jeff called to say the previous booking needed to extend their stay and offered us this larger unit at no extra cost. Jeff was professional and courteous and we were gracious for the upgrade at no cost for our “inconvenience”. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking to spend some time in downtown Danville.

The accommodations were perfect for an overnight stay near a good selection of restaurants. There were plenty of parking spaces and access was very simple. The beds were comfortable, bathroom was spacious and the kitchen was well equipped.
