Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Person County

Good evening Sheila, I wanted to say my family and I had an amazing time. Your place was enough to accommodate all of us and the family that came to see us for the day. Just some touch ups needed: paint in bathrooms and some reupholstery done to some of the pieces of furniture but overall very comfortable. We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving: thank you. We will be back again!!!

Our stay at Kristen's Lakefront Paradise was exceptional. Every aspect of our trip exceeded our expectations - making the reservation, communication with Kristen, super easy to check-in, immaculately clean, and so many touches to make the cabin perfect and cozy! The location was ideal for a relaxing getaway. Kristen suggested restaurants and other things to do in close proximity that we enjoyed. There were so many extras that made everyone in the family happy. We loved the view, deck (comfortable furniture), outdoor area, and games. No need to be concerned with toiletries and many other "extras". We absolutely plan to stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Jenni’s place. It’s spacious, clean, peaceful and had plenty to do for both children and adults. The kids loved the air hockey table. My sister and I had a wonderful early morning kayak trip. We all loved sitting on the back porch. We were able to cook a full Thanksgiving dinner with the pots, pans, utensils, and serving ware provided. We’ll be dreaming about our next stay!

Absolutely Beautiful! My husband and I travel a lot and have booked a lot of different Airbnbs in a lot of different places, this by far was one of my favorites. The house was clean and spacious and stocked with everything you could imagine you’d need and the view is absolutely beautiful. We celebrated our anniversary here and definitely have memories we will cherish. Oh I also have to add this as well. The first date I booked the house for I unexpectedly became ill and needed to change our dates, Vernon Real Estate was very kind and understanding and worked with me. I really appreciated that.

William and Bryan’s place was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway! The amenities truly make this spot worth it. They really thought of everything! The house was perfectly clean and cozy, both William and Bryan are very communicative and nice, and the area is just gorgeous. We would love to come back when it’s warmer to fully enjoy the lake! Highly recommend!!

The house was great and Drew was a helpful host. We had a nice relaxing long weekend and enjoyed hanging out on the dock, swimming, and kayaking. The house was easy to find and super clean when we arrived!

We enjoyed our stay! Older home with some upgrades, but well cared for. Required a bit of dewebbing outside to be able to use the outdoor space, but that is living in the woods. Well-stocked kitchen, beds were comfortable. AC struggled a bit with the heat when we arrived, but caught up over night. Nice grounds overall. Boathouse and deck were nice. We would stay here again.

A very quaint, peaceful lakeside retreat. We enjoyed staying here while visiting family in the area. Thank you for hosting us-we had a wonderful time! We especially enjoyed: - kitchen - private road for a 2 mile run - great view of the lake - morning sun in the living room is gorgeous this time of year (Fall)

Clean, comfortable and convenient. Updated apartment with all that you need for a comfortable stay. Close to my son's campus and local restaurants. Quiet with a comfortable bed and nice linens/towels. All you need for a comfortable stay. Thank you!

Great hosts. We enjoyed our stay. The Bohemian is a stylish, comfortable and clean flat including a lot of extras. The kitchen is especially well supplied. Our visit was at the end of a hard winter for this area so outside was a bit drab. The location was perfect for our needs. Communication with our hosts was terrific. They let us in early and gave some extra time on checkout. We would gladly to stay here again.

This was our second stay in this lovely place. Just perfect for the two of us and loads of character. Beautiful farm setting.

We were happy to find a place close to our Durham family—about a 15 minute walk to their house. On the first night we had a problem with the lock on the door. We contacted Kris the next morning and he responded quickly. He had the problem corrected by mid-day. There were no other problems. We used the house primarily for sleeping because we spent all the days with our Durham relatives. We had a wonderful Christmas in Durham. The amenities were as described. It was especially convenient to have a washer/dryer and iron and ironing board. Having received a significant bruise one evening, I was very thankful to find an ice pack in the freezer when we returned to the house. Thank you Kris!

The condo was exceptional, as described, well appointed, clean, comfortable and convenient to the entire town. Jeff went out of his way to get me in early and without any drama or problems. Would stay again anytime in the area.

This is a beautiful home in a beautiful place. My family enjoyed our stay, wished it wasn’t such a quick trip. The home was clean, the beds comfy, and my grandson loved the snacks. Highly recommend!

This was the all-around best B&B we have ever visited! Everything was perfect. The unit was spotless, the kitchen had all the cooking equipment anyone would ever need and included great amenities like a wide variety of spices and fun types of coffee and tea. The rooms were large and attractively and comfortably furnished and the nursery was adorable. The showers had plenty of hot water and there were a variety of shampoos and conditioners. The pond out front is peaceful and private and the free range chickens in the back were fun to watch. Ben also allowed us to eat their fresh eggs! The porch out front had beautiful sunsets. As lovely as the pictures are on this listing are, the cabin and property is even better. Ben was friendly and promptly answered all of our questions. A separate shout out to the bakery Ben recommended - Strong Arm in Oxford, NC. The best bread I have had since I lived in France!

Roy’s place was great. My grandchildren didn’t want to leave. they had so much fun. I set up was nice and all the activities was the best. I know where I will be staying when I come back to NC!!!

We had a great stay at Liz’s place! It was the cutest cabin located in a busy city. The inside was decorated immaculately even down to the tiniest of details. It felt like you were away from the busy world. I will definitely stay here again if available the next time I need to stay in Durham.😊

Margo was amazing, her home is perfect for work trips and personal time in between. Everything was as is and she is an amazing host.

LOVED our stay and just wish we could have stayed longer! You immediately feel relaxed when you get into the hot tub and look out over the beautiful pond. Hope to be back someday!

This gorgeous cabin exceeded all expectations! The attention to detail from the host was truly impressive. We stayed here for a business workshop, and it was absolutely ideal—beautiful views, thoughtful amenities, and a perfect atmosphere for both work and relaxation. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, making our stay seamless. We’ll definitely be back in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to friends and family. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Claudia and Kelly’s place is phenomenal. It’s tucked away, quiet, and a perfect place to decompress. The attention to detail and small touches of charm and whimsy will have you searching the cabin for more. After a quiet weekend we felt like we had to prepare to enter the real world again. I’ve been in enough airbnbs to know, by comparison, how much pride Claudia and Kelly take in The Stall.
