This one is decorated with evergreen trees in mind. It reflects the true beauty of our property. Its also our only rustic cabin with a stove and running water for the sink. Sit back by the campfire, roast some marshmallows and enjoy the sound of a distant whippoorwill or woodpecker. Smell the scent of cedar in the air coming from the forest of cedar trees that surround you! Evergreen Cottage welcomes you! Accommodation: Evergreen Cottage is a one room cabin with one full size bed and one foldable twin bed. Drive right up to your front door! There is only one other apartment sharing this location. Amenities include wifi, smart televisions in living room and bedroom, couch that folds out into a full size bed (pillows and blankets are in the ottoman in front of couch), eat in kitchen, and free parking. Even though this is a small town, there is a convenience store 1/2 block away, a Walmart that is 3 and 1/2 miles away, and two other local restaurants that deliver to your door.

This was an absolute find. Being from the area and going back to bury my mother not a hotel available. Surprised to find a beautiful airbnb in the area and at an affordable price. Just happened my sister in law knew Tammy and said “if Tammy has anything to do with it it will be spotless and beautiful” she was right. If I ever have to go back to Tell City I won’t even look for a hotel, I will immediately contact Tammy and Brian to stay at their beautiful place. Thanks for everything, it was perfect! We loved this property! We had been looking forward to some outdoor adventures but the rain had other plans. Luckily, there were so many ways to stay entertained and dry with the games and indoor activities provided by the host. We really felt like we were at home and we really appreciated pantry staples, a stick of butter, a bottle of ketchup, etc. Walmart is a short drive away, we mostly cooked at home! Every inconvenience you could think of, I feel like this host anticipated and brought solutions. Yes, it's an outdoorsy place so you will find bugs, big spiders, etc but the host had bug spray and everything we needed to stay comfortable. We were a bit worried about the temperature upstairs but again the host anticipated this, and provided plenty of fans. Heads up in case you missed it - there is one master suite downstairs with the double sink, shower, and garden tub. The rest of the beds are upstairs. This is a family stay, not a romantic stay.
